I have a 2014 vw jetta s , wrecked it twice and it had been sitting with a black aftermarket fender and front bumper. my boyfriend has taken his 1999 eclipse there twice. and we absolutely love the work these guys did for us. we seriously couldn t even tell they were our cars. it has been my dream to have a pink car and econo made it come true!!

As far as the paint job goes i m pretty satisfied with how it came out for the price, especially given the condition of the previous paint.. although as i was on the highway just today my grille happened to fly off my car. Which i can t say has ever happened.

Took my Dodge Durango to Econo Paint and Auto Works on 10/11/23 for a paint job along with rust work that needed to be done. I was initially quoted $898. When I went in for a quote on 10/09/23 I told the gentlemen I would be back when I got my other car out the shop for an alternator. Within the next 2 days Martin from Econo was calling leaving a message offering to do it for $750. I returned his call and accepted the offer and dropped off my truck/suv. I got a call Saturday 10/14/23 saying my vehicle was ready. When I get there I m excited to see the results only to be disappointed to the point of being upset. I walk around the SUV to inspect it and the first thing I noticed was my rear wiper was taped to the window so I pull the tape off thinking they forgot to and the wiper swings down due to them breaking it. Martin tells me it was corroded and broke when they tried to take it off. Then I noticed on the drivers side of the truck the paint has got particles of dirt sand dust idk but it s horrible and the front bumper feels like sandpaper. The passenger side has overspray in a couple places. I also left the passenger side bumper strip in the SUV in the drivers seat. I asked Martin if they take those off to paint them and he said no they paint them so I told him the one that is missing is in the truck and it just needed to be put back on before paint. When I came to get the truck it was still in the truck not painted or touched. Martin puts some tape on the piece that wasn t painted and asked if I wanted him to put it on I was like why would I want it in now it s not even painted . The rust above the driver door is still visible and the sanded and filled area above the door looks like Swiss cheese with all the little holes in it. The front windshield wiper sprayer is missing. There are other parts that had big rust and they look amazing so I know the work can be done right. When I started complaining about all the imperfections Martin stated what did I expect for a $750.00 paint jump at least all the rust is gone . I was actually going to get my other vehicle painted there, but I will not be after my experience. I don t have money to throw away and I love my vehicle and this has been a horrible experience.

One little spot, if I nit pick...but it looks amazing! For the price....you can't beat them. Shout out to Econo paint: Great work!

I took my 2007 mustang in for some body work & to repaint the entire car. I have had the car for 10 years. They had my car from thursday late evening till monday,when I could pick it up. They called on saturday for me to pick it up. My car had so many sun spots & faded paint. It looked so much better. There was some spots where the paint started to run. A few places where they did not change the pressure they used to remove the paint. You can see orange peel coming thru the paint. It looks alot better than when I dropped it off. I love how much better it looks. Honestly,considering how it looks I did not make the run marks & orange peel an issue. It looked alot better than I thought it would. Even my husband was surprised for the money I paid,how good it looked. They did an awesome job. You have to let them know every dent,ding,scratch,etc you want repaired because we missed a dent on our hood & it did not get fixed. Overall, Im happy with how it looks for the money I paid.UPDATEApril 2024This is only entering into 3rd year that I had it painted.The paint has chipped & peeled. The entire car has faded & the hood has big bubbles in the paint that now has popped & chipped paint. It looks awful. I washed & waxed the car several times. The paint was mixed with primer making the paint peel. Which I did not know at the time. It literally came off like a sticker. It really looked awesome for awhile. I waxed my car trying to keep the shine. The paint just isnt any good. Its cheap paint. It does not last.

I called on a Thursday, brought my car in on a Friday and it was done by Saturday. They are efficient, very reasonably priced, 1 year warranty, and it was a pleasure doing business. Had a nice conversation with Bryan the manager, and I'm thankful they treat their employees well. If anyone is looking to get a car paint I highly recommend. Great Job!!!

Do not take your car here!I couldn't get enough pictures of this disaster. I paid $800 for amateur work. I specifically said "not white" I asked for as close to custom as he could get it. Like pearl white.. he said he couldn't do pearl white but he could mix colors to get as close to the natural color as possible. And he could do it in 24hrs.*I drop it off and he says that he has taken in two more vehicles so it won't be ready until Tuesday.*Called them on Tuesday, they said it won't be ready until Wednesday.*We picked it up end of day Wednesday and it was disappointing to say the least.There was paint splatter all inside my car, mud in my floor boards, broken windshield wiper, broken door handle, broken rear mirror nozzle, and the gas went from 3/4 full to 3)4 empty.There was paint all over my tires, the chrome and the windows. I requested to speak to the owner but the guy in the office just tried to make excuses for this disaster. Very unprofessional. Very disappointed.

My cousin took her car to Econo paint in Daytona Beach. Bryan, the manager was awesome. He explained every step and options to her. The finished product was beautiful and at a fraction of the price of other places. Bryan was so sweet, he called my cousin Auntie Lois. The business is A-1 and honest. Will definitely recommend and will use if needed in the future. Thank you Bryan and the staff. Great guys that do great work.

Brian was amazing!! Painted both of my BMW E46s. Both had peeling clear coats and faded paint and now they look amazing!

This is Christopher Cassata owner of Chevyextreme8 Used Cars. Former employee is going around to company's we use and leaving bad reviews for those places trying to hurt both business. Econo auto painting is a great place to deal with, never had any issues with them. My sincere apologies while we investigate this further.

This is how my car was given back to me after being painted by Econo. They offered to repaint some scratches caused prior to my picking it up. I appreciate that, but after that issue, paint runs, and having to detail all the overspray myself, I decided against it.

They painted my SVT contour and did an exceptional job. My car required extra body prep which they accomplished nicely. Hands down the best Economy paint shop around. Don't listen to the bad reviews. If you want a $5,000 paint job, then go get a $5,000 paint job. If you want extreme value, this is the place. Unless you have a show car, this place is just fine. Pictures speak for themselves. I got the optional gloss enhancer.

In late Sept, 2023, we took car to Daytona loc for sanding & spray painting. Demonstrated paint peeling in 2 lge spots, 3 sm., & desire for sanding & repainting whole vehicle to white closest to orig color. Recd estim. No prob. Left. Then recd call fr "Aaron" w lower estim (to induce increased bus). Dropped car off Sept.21+- to Aaron for 2 lg paint peels & 3 sm & whole car spray painted closest to orig.white. Aaron was a man who was personable, accurate, plate, friendly, attentive. He was an excellent representative for Econo.Recd call fr Aaron to p/u car earlier than expected. Paid. Did not scrutinize it bc we had a very sick dog left alone at home. Over next 2 wks, 3 Emerg Hosp visits & we had to put her down.My husb now devoted time to scrutinizing my car repair & spray painting. No good.We took car back & saw "Martin". While my husb.was describing many defects in paint job, Martin abruptly cut him off mid-sentence adamantly stating, "No, we're NOT doing that!" (2 other ppl were standing on the side.) We asked if Aaron was there, told he was in back & wd deal w Martin. My husb.cont'd to state white paint was on black rubber trim throughout, on side view mirrors, & there was orange peel throughout due to excessive pressure or speed in spray painting. Martin responded, "That happens sometimes." I said, "We weren't advised of that." He said, "You should've been!" I said, "What matters is we WEREN'T! It was represented to us that the whole car wd be painted, NOT w defects." He said, Come back on Nov. 6!" I asked if he was the mgr & he said "yes". I asked what happened to Aaron & he said, "He's not here anymore." Left car.Came back Nov.6, checked out my car in lot. We were shocked & irate that car was not re-sprayed. Plus there was a 2.5" gouge in paint that hadn't been there bf. I questioned Martin & he flatly stated, "Yeah, WE decided NOT to do it!" I stated "we've been cheated & are completely dissatisfied w how business has been conducted here." We took the car and are trying to find an honest car painting business at now additional expense to us. Martin shd be fired unless Econo wants business tb driven into the ground. Standards are on the ground.

I had an amazing experience with the Daytona Econo team. I was worried at first, not really knowing what to expect, because I've never had to get a paint job until now. I knew they gave free estimates from what I'd seen on their site and when I called to confirm, so I went in asking for one on Friday. The manager, Ray, tells me 'OK, free estimate, that'll be $3" -- the funniest thing I'd heard all day. At that moment, I just had a great feeling about them. I mean come on, that's a great joke. Tad helped me understand the pricing of the different kinds of work they'd do on the car and was very transparent and detailed with everything. He broke down the pricing for me during his inspection of the car and afterward. My car in particular needed some extra sanding love because it had looked like a cat's scratching post, but the cost for that additional labor was still very economical. They wrote up different versions of the estimate for me, depending on whether I wanted a new front bumper or not. I could keep my current bumper or the alternative was to get a new bumper, wheel wells, retainers, and probably some other stuff I've forgotten about now, but the cost would obviously be more for the parts and labor. Tad called his body work guy right then and there to ask for prices - which was impressively honest and considerate - he could have given me a "more or less" estimate, but he gave me actual numbers as of that day and I really appreciated that extra step. I decided to keep my current bumper since I'd been driving with it taped up for years now anyway. They gave me the total price, I confirmed it shouldn't change, dropped it off the next morning on Saturday, it was ready for pickup today Tuesday. I almost didn't recognize my car. It was red again!! And all one beautiful shiny color!! Apparently, I was lucky to have had the best painter work on my car, Bryan with a Y. He did a phenomenal job - my car looks brand new and it was 100% worth the price. I will refer anyone and everyone to that team who needs a paint job. I was very pleased with not only the work they did, but their friendliness and transparency above all. Thank you all so much!!!

Great spot for a cheap paintjob.brian is good.follow through ya gotta keep up but they will correct issues.car came out good . would i recommend? Yes.

Absolutely love Econo Auto painting. Excellent customer service. We talked to Ray. He was so nice and the prices are very reasonable. They did a wonderful job on our sons suv. Definitely give them a try.

Worst customer service paint didnt match, they dont want to take any reponsability....you get what you pay for.Asked the rep before they paint to use the paint code on the car to get close to the original or use a paint analyzing tool to read the paint for a close match.He refused said they are a low budget shop and can't....Just wanted to rush me out the door regardless of the results. You can you see the difference below.Name on invoice is KlugCar was picked up Saturday 2- 23-19

Loved it. Painted my 2005 dodge ram for a price I couldn't refuse. Truck turned out better than I expected. I'm spreading the word. Rick was great. Hood and top of truck was sooo faded. More pics to come.

Brian was amazing walking us through the process. He called me to let me know the car was in the shop being painted. The paint came out better than expected. The price was lower than the verbal quote! Highly recommend!

This place is perfect for the thousands of us in the Daytona area who have a reliable older ride that looks like a junker thanks to the brutal Florida sun. Brian and the painting team got my truck done in just a couple of days as promised and it looks great again. He was very upfront about it not being Ferrari-level perfection but the job exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

This was awesome! I came in knowing it wouldn't be a 6k type job but this was one of the biggest bang for my bucks ever. Ray was awesome too, super friendly, informative and overall just a nice guy.

"Buyer beware" I went there to get some minor job done to the fender and the front bumper from passenger side , after three weeks of hassle with absolutely unprofessional people, I ended up with horrible pant job and, needing to replace the fender, front bumper and the rocker panel that they destroyed when they tried to put back in, It's a long story but listen to this one, they empty up my penny cup, they take all the quarters, dimes, nickles and they left me with 6 pennies, Now you understand who you are dealing with.

I picked up my car today and was very pleased with everything at the Mason Ave Daytona location.The management, staff, quality of work and price were all excellent. I had a dent and scratches on the bumper and fender and they had it done in under 2 days.I highly recommend this shop for body work and for paint. They matched my Ford color perfectly.
