Day after bike week my sons old sporty dropped a valve great people at Daytona Auto Machine got me on the road I. Record time ! Many thanks highly recommended

Great support for my oddball Subaru Justy engine rebuild. The guys milled and ported the head, decked & honed the block, replaced the exhaust valves and put together the rotating assembly for a very reasonable price. High quality work. The little 3-cylinder revs like a demon and runs great. Super friendly guys who were excited to work on something weird like this.

alot of 5 star reviews from females should be the first red flagthey do not stand by their work and almost always tell you your stuff is cracked ever since i switched machine shops i havent had to replace a head or block .google really needs to have a no star selection these guys costed me alot of money with the last 2 jobs i used them for they are friendly until you start questioning anything then mikes to busy to talk or leaves you with a bill from their craftsmanshipService: Motor building

This place is a full scam,First todd told me to resurface 1 cylinder head , it would cost $150 but if i bring both heads he would charge $200 for both. I brought both head, then he said the cost would be $300 , and to pick it up in 3 days. 4 weeks later after checking on when can i pick up , he raised the price to $450. I told him ill pick up my heads i no longer need him to work on it.I got annoyed and decided I would take it somewhere else . After going to this location to get my cylinders heads , he told me i had to pay him $35. My cylinders head were at the same location on the table in-front the shop where he told me to leave it when I dropped it off 4 weeks earlier. This place need to be shutdown by the government instead of having this man scamming people.Services: Auto engine tuning, Motor building

This business, hands down, knows what they are doing! The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and will make sure that you leave satisfied! If you think something is wrong are going bad in your vehicle and you don't need it fixed for another 6 months, they will not talk you into getting it fixed now, they will thoroughly explain to you the problem and why and how to resolve it or when it should be fixed! They're very punctuate, if they tell you your vehicle or part will be ready at 3 p.m. it will be ready at 3 p.m. or you will get a phone call explaining the delay! Once you go here , you will return as a happy, satisfied customer!!

Update: Wow. Above and beyond. Mike and his guys are awesome. Mike knows I am on hard times, and went out of his way to help me in every way possible. Can't recommend these guys enough!Very fair, and a fast turn around on my Harley heads.

Not for my H.P. builds, Probly can do a stock build, but dont expect miracles , promised really clean blocks in 2 weeks, got one semi clean and the other still untouched a month later, drove 100 miles 4 times cause i was promised "Very Clean" blocks.

Two years ago I had these guys do a large job for me. I was building a street rod sleeper out if a 318 magnum engine. They did a great job on the valve train rebuild and top end assembly. About a year ago my crankshaft somehow got loose and is traveling too far. I parked the truck and waited till I have the money to fix it. I recently took the engine apart and was angry when I got the heads off. I measured the bore diameter only to find out they never bored the engine .030 over. As a machinist myself, it wasn't hard to measure the bore diameter. I was charged for the service but didn't receive it. When I get the engine out of the engine compartment, I'm already in suspense of what I might see on the thrust bearing and crankshaft. I guess they figured I would never take the engine apart and see that it wasn't bored out. They ordered the new piston heads for me and put them back into the engine so they had to have known that it wasn't bored over. Won't be using ever again.

I dropped my head off to have it resurfaced and cleaned etc. I had to lap the valves and a few other things but I directly told them to give me a quote for everything and I'll decide what I want them to do or not to do. They called me a few days later and gave me my total which was 320 dollars so there was no way I could afford that. So I figured I'll lap the valves and just have them resurface the head and do the valve seals. When I called to tell them that's all I wanted they said they already did everything.... So yea. I'm pissed and way in debt now. Thanks for not listening

Stan is the man with a master plan. Built me over 6 race motors and 3 stock motors and they all survived my foot. Need I say more and he knows my foot very well and the parts to WIN! Thank you all at shop.

Nice guy shop was very clean work is very clean it's done in two and a half days took it upon himself to look over the Internet find me another head in St Augustine had it shipped here with his money I paid him when the job was complete great shop unlike lot of other shops with money down and you don't get your money back they screw something up not this guy very pleased to have any more motor work to be done this is where I'm going thanks again

Man was soooo rude on phone,before I had opportunity to talk about my issue. My money is hard earned, at least treat a potential customer kindly. Bye, bye rude man,plenty of other shops willing to take my money.

I dont get what peoples problem is with this place. If you don't act like a dingus you won't get treated like a dingus. They have the right tools and pressed my old wrist pins out and new wrist pins in an hour. Good stuff

At first it was a good experience but as the weeks turned into months I got worried.4 months later When I finally picked up my vehicle I was distraught,it had low power and excessive engine noise.3 attempts and 2 months later the problem remained.I brought the car to Kims Auto ,The wrong pushrods were installed ,They were replaced with the correct style but the problems remained,so Kims auto took the engine down and found 6 lobes were bad on the Camshaft.The timing gear was damaged all told I paid to have it corrected but now Daytona Machine is unwilling to reimburse me.I am in the process of going to Small Claims Court.Wish me luck.Think twice before you have this shop do your engine work.
