Very knowledgeable technician. Prices are great. Only complaint it's just one tech,and on any given day depending on what's going on in his life he talks rudely to customers. One time is enough for me. I couldn't possibly send a wife,family member,or friend there to have to deal with that. It goes both ways. "You never know the day others are having".

Needed a rear end gasket replaced. They told me bring it in to take a look and make sure that s all it was. After diagnosing the issue, went and picked up the parts (cost efficient for me) and they had it taken care of within an hour. Great guys with TONS of useful information! We told the tech what was wrong with the car upon arrival. He said I can be with you in hour I have one car in-frontof yours it s 11:00 am, so we waited only for him to tell us he could not fix the car that day! What was the point of us waiting! Poor customer service!

These guys are awesome! Pedro waited on me after closing to come from lake county because my tire blew. Rode on a spare tire and serviced me with a great tire. Great quality and i am a happy customer. Will be referring everyone to them.

Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Great customer service with a smile. The owner usually remembers customers by their first name. I always dreaded going to get an oil change but i started coming here and its a breeze. They have you in an out usually with no wait time. Job well done coming from another satisfied customer.

I had a water pump problem 100 miles into my trip, while on the interstate heading to Iowa. I broke down here Tuesday night around 6pm. Since I had no place to go I stayed here through the night to be the first person here when they opened up Wednesday morning at 9. The mechanic gets here, I explain the problem; I've already acquired the necessary parts to fix my car before hand. Instead of treating me like an emergency situation, since I'm stranded here and have no place to go, he puts me at the back of his work list of his other customers who have left their vehicles to be worked on while they go home or wherever they came from and gets to working on mine at the end of the day. (Mind you I've not had any sleep for 2 days now) than at the end of the day, he runs into a little snag, (because he didn't put any tv sealant onto the pump gasket which lead it to begin leaking) and instead of finishing my car up, so I can get back on the road for my 1300 mile journey; he says he needs to go home and says he will finish it in the morning on Thursday. Leaving me completely stranded here and sitting in my car in the parking lot because I don't have anywhere else I can afford to go.June 25 2020 Update: after 11 hours of working on my car over a 2 day period, and reinstalling my water pump twice, because he failed to use sealant, he finally gets it finished, and charged me double the price for the cost of the new gasket since he ruined the first one that came with my pump. I also requested to check my Transmission fluid before I left and after agreeing to do so for both days, he says that he can't do it and that he didn't even know how to check the fluid in my manual transmission. Very incompetent work and even more incompetent service. Personnel are parts changers only, not a true service mechanic or technician.

My car battery died right in front of their shop. The gentleman there was kind enough to help me push it up there. He had a portable charger and concluded that I needed a new battery and said if I turn my vehicle off wherever im going it's not going to start back up. He tried to use my lack of knowledge on cars against me. The price of the battery and labor was more than any shop I called around to. My brother told me all I need to do is charge the battery and it worked. My battery has been working just fine and it's been over a month now

My vehicle started making this horrible squealing noise and I asked for help on figuring out the cause on a local swip swap site. Donnie Quick came highly recommended by many users of this group and within an hour, he personally messaged me offering a free estimate at Blackstone complete automotive. I accepted offer, but became worried trying to make it to his shop so I pulled into a local car repair place that I used in the past. After waiting for an hour and watching them just drive my vehicle around the parking lot, they handed me a quote to replace my rear wheel bearing for close to 1,000 dollars. Donnie was still in contact with me and offered his help again. I brought my vehicle to them the next morning and they fixed the bad wheel bearing for 250.00.The job was time consuming, but the friendly staff was determined to stay within their quote and kept me informed throughout the process. They have definitely earned my trust and I will be a loyal customer to them anytime I need work done on my vehicles.

The car started giving a battery warning while we were out of town on vacation. My hubby had recently replaced the battery with one from O'Reilly's, so we headed to the nearest O'Reilly's for diagnostics. They determined it was the alternator, and referred us to Blackstone Auto Repair and Tire Shop. What a blessing! It was Friday of Memorial Day Weekend. We arrived at Blackstone around 11 a.m., expecting to spend the remainder of the day there instead of on the beach. But lo and behold, Blackstone had us back on the road in a little over an hour! Theo and James were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Blackstone is a humble shop when viewed from the outside; but the character of the characters who inhabit it is unparalleled. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Blackstone Auto Repair and Tire Shop and you can tell them I said so!Service: Electrical repair

Ran my tag number. DIDN'T appre ciate that. Just get the vin number off the door. What my tag got to do with anything. If I get another vehicle how will that warranty apply to my new vehicle. Gonna take my tag with me. If anyone else experience that, pleaae post

Pour service, parts changers only,no technicians,pls dont go there,straight rip off! chuck norris and Isaac Hayse, said my lifters was an issue. the rocker arm fell off they charged hundreds and hand tightened it .fell of the next day and wouldnt fix it back . i took it else were to fix and running like a champ for $50. Bucks they said my engine was shot..any body can lease a machanic shop that doest make you a mechanic..

Oil Change. Tech was very friendly. Priced as expected. Shop Premises was underwhelming but effective. Would definitely use again.
