Found by chance Tropical Performace, and unfortunately my engine was damaged but, Mike worked with me and we fixed my car, everything was done great and he was very fair on the price, his shop is very well kept and gave me confidence on quality of his work. Hard to find good mechanics like the ones on Tropical Performace!!!

Always helping us keep our vehicles in service, had an emergency today, Mike said be here at 2pm, exactly then he was out there getting one of his employees to fix our problem! Great staff in the office and in the garage! Robert FOF

Mike and his team know the job.They took care of our car after an accident, Mike helped us handle the claim with the insurance, and everyone did their job with the utmost professionalism and efficiency, I highly recommend this body shop

Google Master Local GuideBrought a truck there we were trying to purchase from a very nice 17 year old young man.Called the day before and ask how much it would be to have a truck looked at. $90, no issue.The gentleman was extremely short on the phone. I commented to him about this right away.We called the next day on the way up and he started to be rude regarding a time he believed we said we would be there, this was an impossible mistake on our part as we hadn't even spoke to the seller and setup a time yet. Super rude and short again, asked him if he was alright.Brought the truck in, rude again, I stated this time in person that I wasn't about and am a bit confused about his attitude. He said he was just answering question. Again, rude and short.He was rude to the 17 year old kid.Says veteran on my license he brought up how he was in Israeli army and continued on.Call the next day.For $90 he was unable to tell where an oil leak on an engine was coming from.........He essentially gave us extremely limited general information that was accessible by simply looking st the truck. Even the ability to crawl under the truck as it is high could yield this info. When asking important basic things he was unable to answer it under the pretense of, "I would need to charge you more for those answers."So a mechanic that when looking at a truck that for $90 can not tell you if there is a blown headgasket or not.Worst of all he was rude to a 17 year old kid.His professionalism was the worst I have ever experience and I am a Master Level Local Guide.1.7 Million photo likes4.3 million Photo viewsThere is no mechanical outcome at any price that makes the way the gentleman Mike acts acceptable.Absolutely no!

My family has been using Tropical performance for several different vehicles, most were good experiences with everything from oil changes to 4x4 diagnostics. I recently brought in my Silverado for 90k service and I was reluctant to get my truck back 3 days later with 2 spark plug wires cut up and my spark plug well being crushed with pliers. I am a boat mechanic myself and understand that sometimes things get forgotten or broken. I called the owner and he came out himself to look at the truck on a friday which I had already diagnosed prior, I was nothing but grateful for him giving up his Friday night to fix what was done wrong...He cannot fix it that night (understandable)...I'll bring it back to the shop Monday morning. Fast forward to Thursday of the same week, I had been away for work and I came back to the truck not being worked on at all and I also was asked to pay for the new spark plug wires...I refused to pay for the part that his team broke. He fixed it and returned my truck to me..... best part of it all is I got it back for the second time with my intake disconnected because the hose clamp was loosened and not put back on.Overall disappointed I have to find a new shop due to lack of careService: Air & cabin filter replacement

I drive a Bentley and when it comes to a mechanic, i will not take my car to any other place than to Tropical Performance. Mike the owner does an excellent job and know how to fix all luxury cars for a much better price than the dealer. Thank you for everything.

Mike the owner is definitely the best in the business. He services over 15 of our company vehicles as well as most of our personal cars. Some of our vans are eight years old and with Tropical Performance maintaining them we have never had any major issues with any of our fleet. My family has been bringing their cars here for well over 12 years. Michael and his staff provide amazing customer service, quick turnaround, and, best of all, have extremely reasonable pricing. Every part or fluid that goes in is always quality. Every bit of damage that's been repaired is indistinguishable from a car fresh off the factory line. I was extremley happy with the job that Tropical Performance did on my car. Micheal went out of his way to remain at the shop until my car was finished before the weekend. I was told that this shop did exceptional work at fair prices and they have a honest and professional staff .From what I've experienced I will definitely look to Tropical in the future for my auto needs.5 stars

You all know how hard it is to find a car shop you are happy with and can trust. After 5 years in SoFlo we found the one with Tropical Performance!Mike has over 30 years of experience and he is honest, no BS kind of business owner.He did a great job fixing a few issues with my car. There were no hidden fees and we paid less than we would have at our old car maintenance place. This will be our go-to place moving forward.

Simply called to schedule an appointment for a vehicle inspection - I'm assuming that I was speaking to the owner. After a brief terribly unpleasant conversation to schedule an appointment, I asked for the address ...You would have thought I asked him to compile his tax records for the past ten years, Just giving me the address I felt like I was consuming every last bit of this man's time as well as speaking to someone whom absolutely hates speaking to Americans ...That's the only conclusion I can come to, that's how unpleasant this man's communication was ...his intonation, his assumption of one's familiarity with the process of inspection, even his assumption that one should automatically be familiar with his address ...and you better write his address down correctly the first time, because combined with his powerful accent and as fast as he rattles it off, you can barely understand him. I hope that I just have this all wrong and my appointment goes well but I'm really not expecting much of a difference. If it turns out to be a pleasant experience, I will absolutely amend this post, if not, well then you're reading what you're reading. AMENDMENT: I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early and was not acknowledged upon entering the establishment, I just stood there while the gentleman behind the counter ate his lunch. While standing there, I noticed that the shop was clean and organized which is always a good thing as far as shops are concerned. I was told I would need to come back at my appointment time (but in all fairness I believe this was only because the necessary employee was on lunch, fair enough) After walking back inside exactly 10 minutes later, I was promptly taken care of and given a form to fill out. My time is important to me and my appointment time was honored, that was another plus. I was not kept waiting at all and when a woman appeared behind the counter she was very polite, she told me that they had already faxed the necessary paper work over to my insurance and offered to handle any future problems that I may have with any car. The gentleman, I'm assuming once again the owner, was anything but gregarious, but that isn't a crime and the real question that unfortunately I can't answer because I was only there for an inspection, is what is the consistency and quality of auto repair service. However, based upon the state of the shop, appearances, and the ease and speed in which they handled me, I did get a general impression of competence. The place seemed fine for a guy, but would I send my wife? No. My wife for example, would have a lot more questions than myself and I just didn't get the impression that this gentleman had an ounce of patience for anyone that doesn't already posses a slightly above average knowledge of shop talk.

Honest and reliable. Mike has helped me out of a bind several times. He s also helped my kids as well. I recommend! He s the only guy who s been able to fix things on my truck that I was quoted wayyyyy higher. I moved here to Cooper City three years ago and I m thankful that I found him.

I found this shop to be fair, honest and able to deliver on time. This was one of the best automotive repair experiences I can remember ever having. Thank goodness I have finally found a great local mechanic. Mike was friendly and easy to talk to. They even offered me a ride home before even looking at the car. That was a welcome bonus !

My Toyota truck was giving me stalling problems for almost 9 months. Brought truck to 2 different mechanics who couldn't figure out problem after multiple visits. Brought it to Tropical Performance after they were referred by a friend. Mike was very nice, explained to me daily each step he took to root out the problem. Mike/Tropical Performance found the problem, fixed it. Truck's finally running great, no more stalling. Was charged extremely fairly(less than I thought). Two thumbs up.

Mike is an honest mechanic. Hard to find in this day and age. I have used his business for years and have always been a happy and loyal customer. Work is completed on time and done right the first time.

I had them put a k member and control arms in a car I've been building for car shows. They did a great job and did the work as I wanted it done. I'm happy to say the quality of their work and level of communication was exactly what I wanted and needed.

Horrible customer service from owner! I just left there without being serviced as the owner berrated me with the assumption I arrived late for my appointment. Mind you I came in and was halfway greeted by the receptionist who failed to defend me to the owner when he stated I was not there at 12:30. Then he told me he needs a few minutes before helping me as he mumbled under his breath about me not being there. Being shocked and appalled by the back and forth, I decided to take my car elsewhere. The job was simple. Pre-insurance inspection. Maybe the owner has an issue with doing these as he was rude to me from the moment I made the appointment over the phone to me leaving the shop.

Not so honest, so beware! Straight with you at first, then gradually takes advantage more and more once he gains your trust. He had me with 5 cars, but no more.Did you ever hear of the term Sabra, a native born? Israeli's will explain it like this - This is Michael Graff - in a moment you feel so close to him, but at the same time you are oh so far!! Another description for greed and selfishness.
