My husband and I went to a few other Dodge dealers before meeting Carlos Torres at University Dodge. The experience was wonderful from meeting him to signing the papers for our Ram! Carlos was honest and knowledgeable throughout the whole experience. He really listened to our wants and needs and I can honestly say after working at a dealer myself I have NEVER met a car salesman that came close to our experience with Carlos! Highly Recommend asking for him! We will be back for future business with him, that s for sure!

I just bought a vehicle here last week and had a great experience. Go to see Gabriel Acosta! Bumped into him on the lot and recognized him from selling a new Ram 2500 to my cousin a few months ago and thank god I did. He got the deal done for me when I was sure it was not going to go through. He did everything in his power to get the finance team to make the numbers work which ultimately got me into a dream car of mine. Definitely recommend giving Gabriel a visit.

Stephen McKenzie is the guy I ve worked with Vanessa and Janessa and they are a great team they all are very attentive and pays attention to detail.When i bring my car in they get me an uber home and back to pick up my car.See the video of all of the people that has helped me.Last thing they are super quick fast and efficient

This was single handedly the best experience I ve had with any service and parts department. After having the diabolical HCU issue that plagues 17 and 18 RAM trucks. To Brian the parts manage, facilitating alongside RAM cares to get the part necessary ordered and expedited to Jermaine and Cal the service team that had the truck ready in 4 hours to ensure minimum disruption of the day. Will always prioritize coming here over everyone else.

Gabriel is a great salesman.... very patient, extremely polite. HE never push the sale and provide all the information I asked for.Jacob the finance manager was very helpful and straight forward.After negotiate with Gabriel and Jacob I'd highly recommend University Dodge.Ask for Gabriel, you won't regretted.

Honestly when i went i wasn't expecting much. Usually I try to avoid dealerships at all costs, but i wanted to see about the lease deals, i was interested in updated my truck. Rodrigo greeted me and we started talking about what i was looking for. He brought out a few trucks that i really wasn't interested in, because of the color and it wasn't really an upgrade from my truck as far as features. But Rodrigo & Justin found the 2024 Ram i have been wanting. Honestly, they made it happen and worked some miracles. I wanted a unicorn and i got it. Both of them were fun to chat with, very personable and listened to what i was looking for. I didn't feel like I was being told things just to make a sale which was extremely refreshing!! Thank you Rodrigo Martinez & Justin Forrero for getting me into my new 2024 Ram! I love it

Disappointing - shady dealershipI went with every intention to buy a truck for the advertised price. I have been taking my time and watching pricing online, this one had been steadily reduced on their website, and it hit a level I was okay with.I was pre approved for a loan by my bank and had money with me to put as a deposit to hold the truck while the bank waited and reviewed the paperwork.When I got there and waited, someone came over to talk about the price of the truck and said it was actually going to be "at least" $9,000 more than the advertised price. When I asked why, he told me because their website has fine print (for "New vehicles)" on the very bottom of their website (that he admitted, they know nobody reads) that said for the posted price you have to qualify for multiple rebates and discounts, that hardly anyone would qualify for, all together, in order to get that advertised price.So this place seems to be just another shady dealership that plays games to get people in the door and then tricks them into higher prices than they advertise. And I didn't even have to deal with the finance department, I could only imagine how much worse they are there.So if you go here, just be aware of what you want to buy and what the advertised price is. Shop around ahead of time so you can see the price range for the same vehicle and options, and what those vehicles sell for at other places, just in case they try to change things up on you. And question every change they attempt, if necessary.I know what I want, I know what they've been selling for, and I know what is a good deal and what is overpriced. I guess they were hoping I wasn't informed.

I had an exceptional car shopping experience at University Dodge on the 11th. While visiting family down south for the holiday weekend, I accompanied my sister to the dealership. While she attended to her matters, I explored the parking lot and was captivated by several vehicles. Intrigued, I decided to speak to a sales representative and was fortunate to meet Justin F. His professionalism and genuine interpersonal skills stood out as we discussed my preferences without any pressure. Justin elaborated on ongoing sales, particularly during the Veterans Holiday weekend.I can't praise Justin enough for the positive experience. Past car purchases were often chaotic, but Justin, along with George and Joe, made this experience exceptional. Their top-notch customer service and approachability made it the best car buying encounter in my 20 years of purchasing vehicles. After a long and grueling ordeal with our truck being at the service department for over 2 months we got introduced to May Mathez the (customer experience manager). She is the most professional and efficient person I spoke to up until speaking with her. She followed through and made all the contact necessary with the service department for me after our first conversation. She did exactly what she said and followed through with courteous communication thoughout the remainder of our trucks service there. The new Service department manager Hector was very friendly and helpful when we went to pick up our truck. Good job University Dodge! Great rebound!!!!!!!!

This is the worst dealership I've ever encountered. They have had my Nitro since January 10 for an air conditioner problem. Excuse after excuse and ready dates come and go. No one gives a damn over there. If I could give a zero star I would. I have reported them to the state department and my next step is a lawyer. I will dissuade any and everyone from buying a car here and forget About the service department you have mechanics that can't find their butt with both hands. Before you say you can't find my name it's under my husband's name Steve. Just give me my car back FIXED

If you re in the market to purchase a vehicle in the Miami area, do yourself a favor and avoid Rob Lambin s University Dodge.I located a Ram truck online which was located at this dealership. I contacted a salesperson to discuss the vehicle and made arrangements to travel there to look at it. We started discussing a negotiated price. I had in my possession a report from a respected independent consumers group that indicated what the exact vehicle was selling for (on average) at all Miami/Dade dealerships. The salesperson, quite falsely, informed me that the consumer group data was opinion only and did not reflect actual sales. In the end we were $3500 apart on price so I left. They then tried to move me to a cheaper vehicle. Do I hear, BAIT AND SWITCH ?A couple days later the Sales Director of the dealership contacted me to see if I was still interested.He convinced me to make another visit and that we would work out a deal. We arranged a time.Then I received the following text message from the Sales Director: Good afternoon: Your vehicle is ready for your visit today.Please keep us updated with your time of arrival I went there this morning, with a cashier s check in hand, trusting that we were going to close the purchase. I was advised the vehicle was sold, no longer on their lot. When I asked the Sales Director why he would have me travel all the way back to his dealership knowing that the vehicle I wanted was gone, he said that those text messages and emails are sent out by their computer automatically and that the computer had no idea if the vehicle was still in inventory. Do I hear BAIT AND SWITCH again?This is the historic USED CAR mentality. Get the customer on the lot, no matter the difficulty for them and then try to sell them anything. I realize this is prevalent on used car lots but am surprised that the same mentality still exists in supposedly reputable major dealerships.Buyer Beware!

Carlos and Phil are amazing. Very fair. I did my due diligence on a vehicle I wanted that was both very coveted and hard to find, and worked down to a price I was willing to pay. I was skeptical after waggling with 6 other dealers between Broward and Palm Beach but Carlos and Phil came to a price better than all off them on the EXACT vehicle I wanted. Go see both of these guys. Very very upfront and honest and will work with you

They charged me 6.5 hours of labor to replace a water pump. Realistically that s twice the book time. I was quoted 2-3 days for diagnosis and it took 6. Took them three days extra to get to the repair. Everyone was very nice they just weren t very punctual and I believe I paid more in labor because of it.

The service department is horrible from every aspect. We have had our Chrysler Pacifica there for service 2 times. Only because we have the extended warranty. The problem still has not been fixed. Not to mention they had our van for a month each time. Communication is horrible, no one seems to know what is going on either. Spoke with the service manager and director and got no where. 1 week later take it to another dealership that is covered with our warranty. They are able to get the part in a 2 days to fix it, and told us we had a bunch of loose bolts from the last place that serviced it. That s faulty work and a safety issue!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! Never again will we take our car here. God forbid if something would have happened. Thank goodness we didn t drive it around and took it somewhere else.

Great experience from viewing the truck to the actual purchase. Gabriel Acosta was the sales person, very knowledgeable, not pushy and behaved like a gentleman. The finance department, specially Jacob, behaved in a respectful manner and made the transaction very smooth. Would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a dodge car.

WOW! Eddie finance manager was nothing but amazing!! We had some issues at the beginning but Nick the General Manager, Marianne and especially Eddie did everything they could to make me and my wife happy! And I would recommend going to see them!! these guys put the CUSTOMER FIRST! Not like other dealerships! Thank you guys for all your help. Also got to throw in Phillip my salesman and I believe his name is joe the sales manager. You guys are the best!

On February 28, I took my 2018 Dodge grand Caravan in for service because my check engine light came on a few days before. I ve always taken my van to this particular dealership for oil changes since the day I bought it. Did not buy my van from them but because they were close to my house I took it religiously for oil changes.So when the light came on, I of course wanted to take it to a Dodge dealership to make sure that whatever needed to be done was done by qualified mechanics and I wanted dodge parts. Plus I was due for an oil change. They did tell me it may take a couple days. There was a $200 charge for figuring out what the problem is and that would go towards the repair. If I choose not to do the repair I lose the $200. That was on Wednesday, Thursday I heard nothing, Friday nothing, Saturday morning I called and I spoke to my advisor Yandy Maya, he proceeded to tell me that my thermostat need to be replaced. Also need a new radiator because it was contaminated. And probably has a blockage. With the replacement of the radiator and the hoses and the thermostat it would be $3000+. I said it has never overheated and even when the light came on which was on the Friday before I was on the West Coast and drove home and a lot of traffic and then that following Monday drove to Miami sitting in traffic it never overheated. How could I need a new radiator if it s never overheated?I told him let me think about it. Spoke to my husband and called Yandy back. I asked him if my van was drivable, I did not know if they had it taken apart or not. And he said yes ma am I said OK I m coming to pick up my van. He said when I come in, don t ask for him ask for another gentleman, I apologize I don t remember his name. So my husband and I went up there and I let him go in because I was so angry. I did not want to make a scene. I sat in my husband s truck waiting for him to come out. He sends me a text they re going to send you a summary of what needs to be done with your van do not hit OK that means you re giving them permission to do the work. But this is paperwork that you can take to wherever we re going to go next.I got that text. I looked at the paperwork. The first is an all point report and everything, everything is in the green . Even the radiator fluid. Nowhere on that report did it say there was an issue with my cooling system. Then the paperwork attached to it to basically says , customer states check engine light came on declines repairs of 3000+. Never mentions what needs to be done. At that point I was off the charts hot. I got out of the van and started yelling at the gentleman who was with my husband and basically said your paperwork says there s nothing wrong with my van and yet you want to charge me $3000. You people should be ashamed of yourselves! So they got my $219.99 oh and yes they found time to do the oil change, at least that s what the sticker on my window said.Very long story short I took it to another repair place which I kicked myself about for later because my husband has used that for his State car for years. I needed a new thermostat. Parts labor, $359. They said my radiator fluid was crystal clear they saw no signs of leaks, the hoses were in great shape.So bottom line do not, absolutely do not let them do any extensive repair on your vehicle unless of course you re under warranty and you don t have an option. I learned my lesson. I will never be back to that dealership again. I m happy that your reviews are great for people purchasing vehicles just don t get them repaired there.And on multiple reviews, they like to comment they have no record of that person. Well, believe me, they have a record of me like I said before I ve been doing my oil changes there religiously for the past four years.
