This is why people don't trust mechanics. I work on my own cars but didn't want to deal with a transmission rebuild so I looked up this shop. It had good reviews and they even come and pick up your car. And that's when I realized this might've been a mistake. The driver was pleasant and seemed like a cool guy but he destroyed the newly laid asphalt in front of my house loading the car. A sign of the nightmare to come. I get a call a few days in that the transmission needs a new shaft I'm like ok you're already in there just do it. I also paid for them to do a new rear main seal because again " while you're in there might as well". So I get my car back after about 2 weeks not 3-4 days as first promised which is no big deal I wasn't in a rush anyway. I get there and they tell me the car is done but it needs new switches so bring is back on Monday (it was Friday). I'm thinking OK? so why tell me its done... No big deal I get in the car and sure enough the D light is blinking but also the car is shaking. It was Friday so I didn't want to be a Karen and I said ill just bring it up on Monday when I come back. On the way home the shaking was definitely not normal so I jack the car up and was furious at what I saw. Motor mount bolts missing and the ones that were there were loose. The subframe bolts were coming out which literally could've killed me and my kid on the drive back home. The front motor mount was destroyed, it looks like they took an angle grinder to the bolts and they didn't even bother putting the other bolt back or the metal brace that goes on the front mount. The vacuum hose for the front mount wasn't reconnected so the car had a vacuum leak. And the cherry on top the rear main seal is still leaking, I'm guessing they didn't even bother replacing it although they did charge me for it. I text the shop trying to keep my cool because again I could've died on the highway going 70 with subframe bolts literally about to fall out and motor mount bolts loose and missing. They schedule to come pick up the car again and make it right. I get the car back and all they did was tighten the loose bolts and replace 1 missing motor mount bolt. The rear main is still leaking, I had to reconnect the vacuum hose myself, the front brace and bolt is still missing from the front mount and I had to go to Honda to buy a 3rd gear pressure switch myself because the one they supposedly put in was still bad. When I showed my neighbor he just said "good thing you know about cars or you'd be hurt." I don't like leaving negative reviews but this was such a nightmare that I just to just write it. Paying almost $3,000 to get my car back in this condition is the reason my people think most shops are just scammers. I would never let these people touch any of my cars ever again. I seriously thought about litigation, but I just want to move on and take it as a lesson learned. The more I work on the car and see random bolts still missing just keeps reminding me of the terrible experience. I almost forgot the steering rack bolts were also loose so there was a noise whenever you turned the wheel you don't even need to remove the steering rack to do the job so who knows what they did. If they did such a terrible job with the things I could see I cant imagine this transmission is going to last very long.

Jet Transmission exceeded my expectations! They were fast and their customer service was exceptional. They didn't quit until I was 100% satisfied! Their pricing is also very competitive. They rebuilt the transmission on my old 1992 Jeep Wrangler and they even located a hard to find discontinued part to complete the job. I HIGHLY recommend Jet Transmission to anybody who needs their services!

Beware! They had my Jeep for 6 months. Supposedly rebuilt the transmission, fixed the transfer case and put in a junkyard driveshaft(which I fine with) 6 months and almost $3,000 later and I finally had enough. I went to pick up my jeep and it was parked out back behind the dumpster with 4 flat tires, dead battery and covered in debris. Upon inspection, my bicycle was stolen and my registration and paperwork all missing from the glove compartment. Had to tow it home. I am now in talks with a lawyer to recover my money. I have my jeep at a real shop now and finding out they messed up everything. My transfer case is stuck in 4x4 now and its a complete mess

I got stuck with my car the transmission went bad so I called a few companies and got a few estimates AMS gave me the best price so I took the car to be fixed at their place.The guys are extremely professional and friendly they where honest with the price and the time frame was on the spot!I am so happy with the service and the price I got from these guys my car drives like new with no problems.I strongly recommend AMS transmission to my friends and family or anyone who needs a transmission job done!When you go to the office ask for Jason he s very friendly. Alfonso at Jet Transmission is a blessing and Guru. I used to be a professional mechanic. I have a Ford F150 I bought new; now with over 300,000 miles on it.I keep it in tip top shape myself, but when my 4wd automatic transmission started slipping I decided a professional shop should do the job.I live in South Miami but drove up to Davie to visit the shop before I towed my truck there. I wanted to see if they really rebuild in-house, or swap for a used part like so many shops do.I found a nice family run business with 4 R&R mechanics in the front, and 2 in the back actually doing the rebuilds on-site.It s a well equipped shop and I could see they do a ton of work there. Alfonso is just a nice guy dedicated to running a successful family business.He gave me a very reasonable price, offered a 2 day turn around, delivered on time, and fixed a downshift problem it had since the day the truck was new.If you re looking for someone you can trust to take care of your transmission when it s down; and you need it professionally fixed, Jet Transmission is the place.They held the agreed upon price, fully rebuilt my transmission with new parts, and made it shift better than it did brand new.I was lucky I found this place and it was worth the drive. Excellent job!Relax. Go there. It ll be fine with Jet.

My daughter and I were stranded after our vehicle suddenly and surprisingly stopped working on the Turnpike. Thankfully, the first place we could get to was Ams Jet. Recognizing our situation, they prioritized our vehicle s repair and helped us get back on the road same day. It was a 7 hour repair given the extensive challenges, but their persistence to identify the problems was much appreciated. In the end, the pricing was more than fair and the mysteries were solved and fixed! (Coils were misfiring and spark plugs also compromised.) About 45 minutes after leaving, the owner personally called me to ask how the car was driving - that was a pleasant, unexpected and appreciated surprise. I can recommend this place to anyone looking for a transmission repair place. They don t beat around the bush with their prices, like other places. They give you a price upfront, with no hidden surprises. Also, I had a major repair job on my Chevy Tahoe and Moises was able to complete the job in 3 days as promised. They charged me for a transmission($2200) that literally lasted 8 miles!!! I asked them to fix it again and they have done nothing so far!! Had to ask his brother??!! What??!!! They people are absolutely not ethical!! They stole my money and will not fix what they charged me for. Avoid these people!!!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I opened this google review in a friend s google account in error. I am Jeffrey I Cohen and I had work done on my 2008 Chevy Silverado. I was very impressed with Jet Transmission. Their prices are right with the market and I had heard about them from my friends for many years. I met Moshe and he introduced me to Jason for the customer service. Jason has a high level of knowledge about vehicles and he knows what needs to be done for automatic transmissions, four wheel drive, transmission oil coolers, rear differentials and more. Jason s level of customer service is superb. He called me a dozen times while my truck was in their shop. Jason explained everything very well and he answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. There were no surprises. I recommend Jet Transmission based on my observations above. I am sure other people have had the same experience I have had. Keep up the good work Is all I can say to the team at Jet Transmissions!

I own an infinity q50 2014 the dealership told me my transmission was done and had to replace it, the dealership gave me outrageous price. So I decided to get a few estimates. I went to transmission shop and they told me my transmission needs to be rebuilt and the price is $3500. Then I went to AMS Transmission, a guy by the name of Jason checked my car with the scanner and told me that I need to only replace the valve body / brain of the transmission. He quote me a price of $1600. He ordered the valve body and two days later my car was like brand new. Highly recommend honest and friendly place thumbs up AMS Transmission!!!!!

I brought my 2003 Honda Pilot in for a transmission service a few months back and this shop did such a great job. She is alive and running smooth again. The owner is kind and informative. He also has great competitive prices along with great quality. He went out of his way to drop me off at home and take the car for me. Very kind and will do buisness with again in future and I definitely recommend coming here. Thankyou guys!

I read the other reviews before they had that many five-star ratings. I thought it couldn't be that bad they're always busy. It's going to be all that it always busy if they have such horrible service. The service isn't horrible but we brought our vehicle back there five times now and each time we'll fix we'll fix we'll fix it it's never a permanent fix. And I'm afraid come the one-year warranty that the vehicle brake again even though they worked on it for 5 months now since we've gotten it back. I don't know if they just can't figure it out but if they can't but they needed for it and pay for it to be done by somebody who can. Some cars maybe easier but this Ford Explorers got them beat

If I could give them no stars, it would be too generous. Do not trust them! They told me my bill would be $800 then called and and said $1,200. Then they called a third time and told me I needed a transmission oil pump and that it would now be $1,500. When I picked up the car all the light on my dashboard were lit up. They said "don't worry, you just need to reset the computer." That didn't work. I took the car back, they told me that I have electrical problems...strange, I didn't have them before. I noticed wires hanging near my front wheel well.The owner says that it was like that and that they only touched the transmission. But they sold me a transmission oil pump, so they must have touched the wiring. A thousand excuses and they didn't fix the problem. Save yourself the headache and don't take your vehicle to these hucksters.

Needed to rebuild my 560sl transmission and I got a few recommendations about Moshe and his shop.They took exceptional care of the car. Rebuild the transmission to almost new condition and now I am back to cruising with pleasure.Very professional at a very reasonable price.Highly recommend!

I had my transmission rebuilt at jet transmission for a 07 BMW 530i and I am happy to say that they did an excellent job. The price compared to other shops was great and turn around time was as promised. Thank u for your customer service!!!!

Without a doubt I got the best job done there. I was referred by some car professionals I know after I bought a lemon that needed a new transmission. He proved he wasn't a clown shop. Those guys have heart, and they like their work. Lots of experience and they are not sketchy

Just picked up my 08 Mercedes and I gotta say I am very satisfied with the work they did! My car was in and out in 3 days and running like a champ,and the price compared to other shops was reasonable. I saved over 1000 dollars with them. Thank you jet transmission!!!

I know them pretty well. Used to give them all my work when i had my car lot for 12years. They have always did me good. My friend had a problem with her transmission. He picked up her car and fixed it. So far so good. Thank you for helping her out.

This shop was referred to me by a co-worker that had her transmission done by them. I was driving home when my transmission gave up. I called them up no later than an hour they picked it up my car and took me home AT NO CHARGE:). End result car working great. Price was very good. I even have enough to buy me some shoes:) Thank You Jet transmission.

Usually, I try to give private owned business and opportunity to shine especially after being referred. I went to jet back on 11-6-2017 to fix my 2006 Chevy Silverado due to it revving high rpm and not shifting. I received my truck back few days later with my 1 year warranty and was told I was good to go. Here I am today 1-31-2018 moved to Georgia and my transmission is completely damaged. I took it a few places up here and was told they have to rebuild it again. Spoke to one of the workers there he told me most he can do is rebuild it again. That s all fine but the price to tow a truck to Florida and back to Georgia is above the price I payed him to rebuild my transmission ($1558). A REAL company would ve had me do the work and maybe shoot a few dollars for my inconvience towards the next rebuild. As far as I m concerned, I would warn everyone just spent the extra few dollars and get it done professionally at a real business. It is not worth the stress because now here I am paying for a whole other rebuilt.

I have a Ford Expedition and I went to about 5 different places to get it checked and they all gave me a run around. Finally came here and they found the problem and gave me a great price. My truck works like a champ. No problems since. I recommend highly!!!

Took my vehicle here for a minor leak to be sealed the owner and manager Jason were very unprofessional. Went to pick my car up the same day. They never offered to test drive it before I drove it to make sure everything was ok before I took it. The Manager Jason got very upset with me started getting loud because I told him that my gears weren't setting correctly and that it was now hard to shift. So I left the car there for 3 days until the owner came back from vacation so I could have my vehicle fixed properly but only made my situation worse. Because he was more rude and unprofessional than the Manager he hired. Now I have my vehicle back still not fixed or drives the way I brought it in with only a minor leak and I was charged $715 to fix a minor leak which in fact I should of got a fully rebuilt transmission for that price. I dont recommend anyone take there vehicle here for transmission work their unprofessional and will rip you offer!
