Absolutely do not stay here. The rooms were filthy, there was mold on one of the lamps in the room, the bedding had several stains, the shower had duct tape covering two holes, I could go on. There was a huge construction truck on site from a guy staying at the hotel and he started his very loud truck at 6am and let it run for 20 mins before leaving. My husband went to talk to the guy because it was so bothersome and he just walked away from him. When my husband went to complain to the front desk he was told that the company was giving the hotel a lot of money so she couldn t say anything to him. Just so unacceptable. Had there have been other hotels available to book during our stay we would have most certainly have left. Worst hotel experience ever

The room had mold in the bathroom. The room had things from the prior customer. The price was way too high for the room quality. The breakfast should have included more than two containers of sausage links. I rarely do bad reviews on here and have done a ton in various countries. We won t be back. The only positive is the location to the manatee area.

Our room was in the back of an almost otherwise empty hotel. Our neighbors were addicts nodding out in their car and in and out of their room all night. Not a good feeling. If you are considering staying here, please don't.When we arrived: chips on the floorMascara on pillowcaseDirt/stain on towel

This was one over-priced room. The beds were clean, and the bathroom was mostly clean. But, when we opened the door, we were assaulted by a stale stench. The ceiling is in desperate need of a camouflage paint job. There was obvious mold in the bathroom. The beds made awful metallic sounds when one turns over, like really old box springs. The breakfast was a joke. I've stayed at better super 8 or motel 6's. I wouldn't stay in this room again for free. I expect more from a Choice Hotel.

Looks like a pretty quiet place. It is a little out of the way. Annoying to get to if you are coming from Crystal River because you have to make a u turn. I only saw from the outside so I can't say anything about the rooms or service. But I can say that for the right price you can have food delivered Nearby activities: Crystal River isn't too far down the road. Lots of water and restaurants.Walkability: No place to walk from here that I could see.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. However, this was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Killed a large roach, hair on the wall in the shower, toilet was leaking, mold on the ceiling in the shower. If I wasn t dead exhausted I wouldn t have stayed. To the owner: it shows you have absolutely no pride in your establishment and have absolutely ZERO respect for the people who chose to stay at your hotel. How hard is it to clean a room? When we chose Quality Inn we aren t looking for luxury, just a clean place to sleep and you CATASTROPHICALLY failed in that regard. If I knew what I was getting, I would ve just stayed at the cheaper place down the street.

My stay at the Quality Inn Crystal River was unfortunately disappointing. Although the price of the room was affordable, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. As someone who isn't too picky, I still expect a certain level of cleanliness when staying at a hotel, and unfortunately this was not met. Additionally, the breakfast offered was lacking in quality. The sausages had a suspicious color and we didn't feel comfortable eating them, and the coffee had a watery taste. Although there were some options like waffles, apples, and yogurt, overall the breakfast was not up to par. I would recommend looking for alternative options if cleanliness and quality breakfast are important to you.

Most things were fine. We enjoyed our stay overnight to swim with the manatees in the morning. We arrived late, like 1 am. The woman at the counter was great. We really only had two complaints. First the shower head was spraying on the ceiling and wall. The only place it wasn't spraying was on the person in it. Even though the shower head was on the end of a long hose you couldn't remove it to use it. The second complaint was that the breakfast was really limited. Didn't even have muffins to eat in the car on the way to the manatees.

The hotel is generally old, but has been remodeled relatively recently there's damage to some of the walls but the paint appears fresh the carpet has been removed and replaced with tile plank. The beds are reasonably comfortable if a little stiff they probably need to get rid of the old chairs that are upholstered they look worn and used. Service was very good and I choose to stay here when I am working in the Crystal River area.

On the very outskirts of town, so stop for food beforehand, or be prepared to drive at least 10-20 minutes to find anything. Has a 4pm check-in instead of the usual 3pm, which really sucks when you are traveling for an overnight shift, and every minute of sleep beforehand matters. Staff was courteous, got us checked in quickly. No elevator on site that I could find, but I was in a rush to get some sleep. Doors open to the outside, so good if you are a smoker.Rooms: Decent and clean, not super fancy. Has those stupid hospitality remotes for the TV, so don't bother bringing any game systems, unless you bring your own display.Walkability: Zero walkabilty, unless you like long walks.

When I review anything I try to give both the good points and the bad. So here it is!The good:Price (because of the organization I belong to). The price was definitely attractive. The staff was friendly. The negative:Cleanliness ~ it was lacking. The washroom in particular. Although, we did have what appears to be clean towels the toilet had unidentifiable "drippings" near the toilet seat and it looks based on the grout that they battle mold. The bathtub in our room had a squishy plastic floor that really did nothing for my confidence. It felt like I could fall through. There was a lot of cigarette burns in the bathroom. Makes it look cheap. The breakfast compared to others in the same chain was really sad. The coffee was terrible. You had a choice of 2 breakfast sandwiches and a nutrigrain bar. No fruit, no yogurt, no muffins, no cereal, etc.I'm glad we were only booked one night. If you're just passing through it'll do.

This Quality Inn is old and dingy! Pulled up to many people smoking and loitering in the parking lot. No elevator at all, which is hard when you have luggage! We walked into a gross, over powering smell from an airwick wall plug in which was apparently covering up the smoke smell (not well) and it made us gag with no option to change rooms! My Mom's room smelled like molding wood. The floors in both room were cheap laminate floors and left our feet or anything touching it BLACK! I was pretty itchy the entire night and my daughter woke up with several red small round marks resembling bug bites. The breakfast was grease soaked sausage, waffles that you make (and they had only 1 maker which took 3 minites a waffle so that took a while) or a choice of 2 kinds of bulk cereal. There was heavy equipment running thru the parking lot to the construction in front and back of the hotel and the staff seemed unfriendly at best. Do your research, spend a little more and go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, this Inn has gone downhill considerably since our last stay there, about 20 years ago. Very little water pressure in the sinks, and neither tub drained very well. The bedding was clean, but the floors need to be mopped more often. The "Continental breakfast" was definitely sub-standard. No eggs, of any kind. The whole menu consisted of link sausage, waffles, and cold cereal.

I was impressed how clean the rooms were. The decor is old. However they make up for it with the cleanliness. And shot out to to the guy at the front desk. He is awesome. Don't know his me but I really liked him. He was really sweet and when my key wouldn't get me in the door of my room and I'm standing there with. My luggage I called him and he came right to my door with new keys. So I didn't have to hall it all back to my care.

The hotel is desperately in need of investment and renovation. The carpets and bedcovers are old and stained, the towels are threadbare and the pool area looks neglected. The rooms are not properly cleaned, (filthy TV remote and toenails on the floor), and I had to get dressed and go to reception at 10pm to ask that the banging in the room next door that was being renovated stop for the night. On the plus side, the location is quiet, the beds are comfy and there is good water pressure for the shower!OK for an overnight stop but don't have high expectations

condition of the pocket door for the handicap bathroom. did not move freely. they could get better quality of towels lighting the cover for the light over the sink in the bathroom with broken. our microwave was not plugged in and we could not find a way to plug it in. the bathroom needs to be redone. and the continental breakfast need to have an upgrade.

Looks like the place has been freshly painted. Stay was nice very clean and has a lot to chose for breakfast. This is a dog friendly hotel so if you request a room make sure it don't smell like dog if you aren't traveling with animals. I think they should remove the carpet in the rooms. Our room smelt like dog and the carpet could use a good cleaning. But over all very clean.

the breakfast is not as good as it once was, no biscuit and gravy or eggs, no toast. our floor in the room had not been mopped for a long time it was filthy. when you walked on it with bare your feet was black as coal. ( and socks to )Noteworthy details: we do not plan on staying there again. ( the kids did like the pool )

We were very disappointed with this property. Dirty floors, poor lighting, running toilet, doors dirty. The breakfast was only waffles and dried out sausage, OJ machine broken, Tank was offered.

Dirty bathroom floors and back of door, gouges in the walls above the beds, carpet badly stained and worn out, bedspread and sheets were clean but stained, sink didn't fit the countertop properly so there was a grungy ring around it. Shower drained very slowly so we were standing in 4" of water by the time we finished, and refrigerator was dirty. On the plus side it was quiet, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and courteous, and the AC worked well.

The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. but the rooms are in poor condition. Our "non smoking room" smelled of smoke and was very musty. The carpet was damp from a leaking refrigerator. There were holes in the wall, some patched, but not painted. Overall there was poor care of the facility, while at most time during the day there were 2 to 3 members of the owners family, sitting in the lobby. Perfect time for them to learn how to paint if they cannot afford a professional. If the price was cheaper the place would be tolerable. Why didn't I leave, it was July 4th weekend and every place was full.
