After calling many machine shops for my LS I found Kevin's. His staff is extremely knowledgeable and the customer service was great. They explained everything they had to do and stayed in communication during my build to inform me of any issues or parts needed to finish. After getting my engine back I was very pleased. It runs perfect and has great power not to mention the sound and thump. Thanks again Andy and BJ. I love seeing heads turn when I pull into a parking lot!

Working on my first rebuild on my 08 wrx , I decided to have my heads resurfaced by kevin s and get hot tanked because my father and a couple of friends used to get it done by a guy that used to do them himself but works at kevin s now. Just received my heads after dropping them off a couple of days ago and granted this is the first time I ve went to a machine shop due to lack of experience. I m very pleased with the work these guys do. The prices are very fair and my heads came back looking extremely well. Big shout out to these guys for helping me get my dream back on the road , 100% recommend giving these guys a chance. Thanks guys

Brought my entire engine disassembled over to Kevin s. Heard to only go there as Kevin has built quite the reputation for the surrounding area. Took my head and block along with every internal component labeled and told them to tell me what I need. Took a little to get back, but it was understandable because of how much work they had to do with other customers. However, they were always updating and calling me about what I plan on doing with my engine build and what they recommend. After doing all the work needed, everything was labeled, cleaned properly, and all the work was done way past my expectations. They did other small cleaning and fixing on the engine that I did not expect, and they did not even charge me for the work. Upon getting the engine back, they gave me the tolerances of everything on the engine, torque patterns, torque specs, and a bunch of other measurements of the bearings and clearances for the pistons.From all that rambling, Kevin and the shop definitely proved their expertise and I am extremely happy I took my engine to them. Thank you!

Took my engine head to be resurfaced and didn't get it back until 3 months later. Everytime I called I was gave the runaround. And when the finished I had to call back again just to find out it was done a week earlier than when I called. Overall the finish product was pretty good (I just had to tighten my cams though) but the service sucked!

Missed a lot of the work they were asked to do - I dropped off two engines with a list of things that needed to be done. After driving two hours home, I unwrapped the engines to find that they had only done about half of the things on the list. They missed several things such as replacing the cam bearings and some machining work. Also, the engines were not nearly as clean as I would have expected coming back from a machine shop. The guys were nice and the work that they did accomplish looks good, but the overall experience was frustrating.

I brought my head down to just get a simple clean and they were amazing people and all around was some of the best to do business with. Shoutout to BJ

Kevin is an honest machinist.His heart is in high output motors and he has been extremely responsive and helpful in my experience with him and his shop.
