JC is great! He did a transmission repair for me (clutch replacement). He was very honest through the entire transactions, and communicated with me throughout the process.He was able to do the repair for significantly less than what the dealership charged, and did great work. The car drives great! Definitely a great place to take your car for a big repair.

JC and Eddie are heroes, every time I bring my vehicle they are quick, attentive, and always make a point to explain and show me any issues with my Scion. If anything ever goes wrong, they are quick to notice and take care of it for me. I didn't even know there was a garage here until I came to this Shell station to fuel up and popped my hood to check my oil level. Immediately 3 guys ran out of the garage and checked my oil for me at no charge! They are so helpful and genuinely nice people! It is such a relief to find good, honest mechanics that are so trustworthy, and so nearby!

I went to this place a few times to get my car fixed and the first time they did a fine job though it was a bit pricier than most places around. They claime that they get you very good prices and give you "discounts" but it's all in an effort to keep you coming back so they can keep scumming you. I took here over 5 times and only onve were they able to fix the problem. All the other times they gave me rudimentary and useless services that resulted in having to come back for them to fix. I had one of my fuel pump relays messed up and I told them that that's what I thought the issue was because I know a bit about cars and they told me I was wrong and then when I picked up the car they CHARGED me an insane amount for looking at the car and concluding That it indeed was the relay. these guys broke my car so that I would keep coming back to them. DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to get scammed.

Our fuel pump went out on our truck while we were in Miami. The mechanic, Juan, stayed after closing to repair it to make sure we were able to get on the road to home in NC that day. I have met few people in Miami that would be willing to do that. Thank you so much.

Very efficient, very thorough, excellent price. There was a huge bolt stuck in my brand new tire. The repair technician patched it from the inside and it is good as new. He also replaced the spare into its compartment and corrected the pressure on it and checked the pressure on all. No waiting.

I have been going to see JC and Eddie for all of my automotive repairs since I moved to Miami in 1989. A new neighbor told me about them when I was whining one day about how awful car repair was in Miami. I went to them first at their Coral Way location, then the SW 8th Street location and now at their South Dixie Highway location in Coral Gables. You will simply never meet a person, in the car repair business, that is more fair in dealing with your car related issues. They will tell you the straight truth and that is why I have been going back to them for 25 year. This business is all about relationships and this one is a keeper. 25 years strong and still going!

This place is AWFUL!!! They tried (and actually succeeded) at scamming me out of some money ($119 not including tax!!) by purposely breaking my car so that I would pay them to fix it! Well I didn't, I brought it somewhere else and paid someone ELSE to fix it because I refuse to let them win! I am in the process of a complaint with AAA so hopefully I will get a refund, but so far I have gotten the opinions of THREE DIFFERENT MECHANICS who told me that not only did they purposely jam something under a belt on my car to tear it, but that they lied about the tensioners on my car being broken!!! I spoke to the owner of University Car Care on the phone and expressed concern that the mechanic had done damage to my vehicle and he proceed to SCREAM at me and call me a LIAR and told me to have my "piece of s**t" car towed off his property!! He was obviously very angry that I found out about their little scheme!! Google this place, other women have had the same problems I have had and have been scammed out of money because these people purposely broke their cars too!! Honestly, I think they did this just because I'm a woman!! Well jokes on them because I am going to sue them and I have worked for several mechanics shops and know more than they apparently thought I do about cars!!

He no longer does mechanical work.Excellent treatment to the public. They have a full service for elderly and disabled people.
