Kathy was amazing. Great communication. Got me in and out so fast that I didn't even notice my car was in the shop. They are a no BS business that's very honest with great quality work. I would recommend this shop for anyone looking to get quality and affordable work done!

Shop is closing down.No longer does any custom exhaust work, the pipe bender is worn out and they are not getting it repaired or replaced.Go south a couple miles All Pro Service 1/2 block south of 520.

We got a new muffler for our son's car today!! Really friendly and helpful employees and definitely reasonable prices. We drove from Titusville because we couldn't find anyone available there. We highly recommend Economy Muffler and Brake!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I called to ask about having exhaust pipe work done. I explained that I had a 6ft long section of 2.25" exhaust that I needed replaced. It only needed two very minor bends and then 4.5 ft of strait pipe. Not a difficult job. I offered to just bring the exhaust pipe in that I needed replaced, but they said they would not do that and I needed to bring the whole car. I scheduled an appointment and worked to get my car back together from a major project to drive it over. I showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment and waited 20 to get seen. I pulled the car up on the ramp. The mechanic (who I feel is the owner) Immediately told me he would not do it. He was worried about welding the pipe to the muffler given the location. I explained I did not want it welded, but clamped and I even had a new spare clamp. He then proceeded to make up a lot of excuses about why he wouldn't do it including he was tired, he had been up since 530 am, worried about welding (though there was none) and on and on. It was unprofessional, not how you run a business and a waste of my time. I had fully explained what I needed when I booked the appointment and they still proceeded to have me come in and waste my time. I even asked if they were really a muffler shop, he said yes, but that they did mufflers and not exhaust work. This is obviously a lie. If you need exhaust work, I suggest going somewhere else. Now instead of supporting a local business owner, I'm going to a chain to get the work done. Very disappointing.Service: Exhaust

They did a muffler delete on my 2019 Ram, and it sounds great. The work took an hour and the price was better than expected. Wendy was great to work with in the office and the mechanic spent extra time to ensure I was happy. Great work!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Beautiful people inside and out! Honest, professional and courteous! Cheaper to get installed and purchase exhaust than to just buy parts online. To purchase split exhaust online that they installed would have been more than having them supply and install! Also, fixed my key fob and helped with door code free of charge! Highly recommend this place! Will always go to them first for brakes and exhaust from now on!

Extra nice folks referred to by Performance Plus Automotive. Called and spoke to them on a Saturday and agreed to drop the truck off Monday to be looked over and get a complete idea and parts list together as I needed a completely new exhaust system. Truck was scheduled to be completed by Wednesday and I received a call Tuesday evening, my exhaust was done. I would have preferred a little more tone to the exhaust system but they allowed me to bring my own muffler so that is no fault of there s. Prior to accepting the appointment I did call around to some shops in the local area and Economy Muffler was the cheapest and referred to by another awesome shop. All and all excellent home town people and superior workmanship! My new exhaust shop!

Super nice people, honest, informative, and great prices. I took my car in a few yrs ago because I thought I needed a new caliper. They quoted me a good price on replacement but then called to tell me they were able to loosen it up and lubricate it and it was fine. I went it recently and got a full brake job, wheel bearing and oil change done in an hour and a half. Their price was far less than most places charge. I trust them, and I know I won't get a better price anywhere else.

Honest, clean, inexpensive, quick, quality, friendly!Wendy and Rob are awesome! I love working with owners directly because to them it's not just a job. It's their livelihood. This is a gem of a place. COST ME HALF of what I usually would pay and waited for only an hour to get both front brake pads and rotors done, and brake fluid flush.The place doesn't look fancy but the shop is very clean and organized. I've seen other shops like these and they're a mess. Not this place. How clean a workplace is always reflects the quality of work being provided.Very honest and will take the time to explain everything. I know my brake's condition. I can change them if I wanted to. I just didn't have time to do it myself. And for how much they quoted me, might as well have it professionally done. THIS IS A PLACE WHERE I WOULD SEND MY DAUGHTER to have brakes and exhaust done.

Super disappointed would not even give me the time of day said my truck was to low. Would not refer me anywhere else. Auto pro s down the road got me up there no problem.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! The women Wendy was very rude and did not want to take the time to hear my explanation for my welding job. She refused to let me talk to the owner so that I could explain it better; to somebody who knows what s going on. Clearly she had no clue. She cut me off in the middle of a conversation and said if it doesn t even start we re not gonna do it. I would not recommend this business. Attitude is everything, and hers was genuinely very poor. It s very unfortunate, I ve got quotes from five other people and they all want to charge $1000. They could ve made some money but they chose otherwise.

Explained over the phone what I needed done. Took time off from work. Arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and the mechanic looked at me and said. I am not interested on repairing your exhaust. It is small money. Go take it somewhere else.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I came down to Florida a few months ago from New York with an older car that has(had) quite a bit of rust in the undercarriage from the salty winter roads back home. My tailpipe had rusted apart and I began my search for a reliable and honest shop. I called close to closing time on a Thursday and spoke with Wendy, and she agreet to meet me early Friday morning so I could drop my car off and she could give me a ride to work on time. That was the biggest relief in the world to me as someone who just got down here and was new to the office. The work was done well and promptly. 5 star experience - I should have left a review then already!They had also told me that during that visit the pipe on the front half of my exhaust was looking like it was losing integrity, but that it should be fine for a couple of months. I noticed my car got louder the last few days and planned to stop in to see Wendy and the crew this morning. 2 blocks away, I hear it drop. I pull in and Wendy remembered my last visit. I just got the call with the estimate for way less time and money than I expected. My day has been made!I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for muffler or brake work. As a heads up, it's the building with the Uhaul trucks out front!

AVOID this place. Lady at the counter is nice. But the guy in the shop that does the work is the problem. Talks to you like he's the authority and you're a dummy. Takes your money and doesn't stand behind their work. Every other place you can take your car is better than this place.

Took my 2017 Toyota Corolla SE for a resonator delete on my exhaust system. Pricing was the best and quality work done. Great people and honest work.

If you're looking for an overpriced, fancy, high dollar shop then this is not your place. If you want a fair honest job by good Hometown individuals then this is your place. Shopped around and they quoted the best price and stuck by it and I am extremely pleased with the outcome.

Had a stainless steel exhaust that needed some repair welding done. Was in and out within 15 minutes! The owners are very friendly and honest pricing.

I had a Flatt tire and got it fixed but the tire store left my spare in back of my truck.I was at economy renting a truck and the gentleman sprayed my spare tire holder with lubricant and put the spare back under the truck which had nothing to do with truck rental just a great company going out of their way to help a customer

Took my 2002 Jeep Liberty to Economy Muffler off US1 in Cocoa. Rob spent about 15 minutes checking my exhaust system. Found the problem and discussed options. Suggested fixing instead of replacement. Made an appointment and Rob did a great job. No more issues. Wendy, office manager handled all the paperwork and payment. This husband and wife team are the best. If you neey any exhaust system work you have to go to Economy Muffler & Brake in Cocoa.

They could ve charged me for both converters. Very honest, they didn t need replacing and they showed me that they were clear. Been in business for a long time and honesty sure helps that.

Called ahead told them my exact car and dual tip exhuast made an appointment showed up said they wouldnt touch it tech wasnt interested said they would charge $500 where other shops say 150-200$

Personally, my experience with this merchant is GREAT !!!. They took care of my problem and as faras I am concerned, DID NOT overcharge. Matter of fact, because I had been sent by another vendor, they gave me a discount on the repair.What more can one ask ?

Saved my mom a ton of money. The dealer wanted $1700 for an exhaust but they determined nothing was even wrong with the exhaust and it had a fuel issue.

Extremely great service, don't overcharge, honest, before you spend too much, please give these folks your business... they are awesome! You'll never go anywhere else!
