FINALLY Finally have found what I believe to be a VERY HONEST, old school type caring automobile repair company!!! I had a transmission repaired on my work vehicle and we were SO in awe of how we were treated and how much both Jack Sr. & Jack Jr. we re so involved and took SO much time to explore & explain everything, we decided to also bring our personal vehicle up there to have a tune up as well as some other front end work to make our jeep safer to drive while on vacation and once again, they just AMAZED us both on how much the genuinely cared about everything, took extensive time to completely make sure we understood everything, and even went WAY above the normal by driving the jeep to another location & company to get the 1 or 2 things they do not offer there at AAMCO (tires & alignment) done for us so that we did not have to do ANYTHING, they took care of everything for us WOW, they literally, WOWED us!Why such a big deal you may ask ? When was the last time you were 100% happy & satisfied with any service company much less an automobile repair company.Without ANY HESITATION, and being a lifelong, well connected Brevard county resident, I STRONGLY urge others to reward yourselves with such great customer service as we received at this outstanding company. I m not saying the AAMCO franchise is all that, what I am attempting to articulate is that these owners truly know what they are doing both technically & how to treat their customers!!!100% RESPECT & great appreciation to these fine gentleman & the rest of their amazing team!Thank you SO, SO much! After paying and walking out, they came out asking if we would please come back in that they had accidentally made a $ mistake on the bill For a split second I thought here it goes but to our absolute amazement, THEY TOOK $179.00 off our bill after realizing they could not do anything more to service the AC as they just didn t find any problems in the switch that I thought was bad so even after they did spend time looking at it, they chose to not charge us which just cemented a life long customer out of us both!God Bless you gentlemen & team of very knowledgeable mechanics!!!

Jack and the guys are my go to mechanics. They have done several jobs for me and all were done great. They are very professional, the shop is immaculate, and they keep you informed. Hopefully I won't have any more mechanical problems but if I do I'll take it to Jack at AAMCO.

My daughter had her transmission rebuilt in New York at the local AAmco. She drove down here for Thanksgiving. The transmission gave out before she made it home. We took it to AAmco in Cocoa. They honored the warranty and did a complete rebuild. While they were working they found two coolant lines that were rusted and informed me. I approved the replacement which they did at cost. When it was time for my daughter to return to New York they offered to check the car out. This was above and beyond what s necessary. I will use the two Jacks (father & son) again. Highly recommended.

Truck I just bought was pretty bad because it was not properly maintained. One week later took it home with a remanufactured transmission at a very reasonable price and an excellent nationwide warranty. Thanks AAMCO, glad you were there to take care of us.

I had an intermittent shifting problem with my truck. They took my truck for no less than four test drives but the transmission would not duplicate the the problem. Jack and Jack Sr. took the time to explain all my options and costs and gave me an honest assessment. Both Jacks were great to work with. I was impressed by their honesty and their commitment to treat a customer like a friend other than just another vehicle to fix. I was very happy with the service I received. I was told when I called it would be around $1200 to $1500! They were informed the truck (94 ford ranger)only had reverse NO FOREWARD GEARS! I PAID $100 tow fee to get it there. Once it was there I was told the RDI (remove ,disabled and inspect) was $895! I told them I was on a budget, then the owner tells me ok well if it too much I may just buy it from you. Well 4 days go by I get a phone call from them and the bill is $3200 WHAT? I told them I would have to sleep on it and call them back. I called back this morning with the thought of selling them the truck for $1000 in which the own Jake told me I owed him $1011. I asked for what? He stated RDI. I told him, he had told me it was $895 at this time he told me that was for shop supplies. I ask what supplies does it take to take a transmission out and disassemble. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIPOFF. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY HAVE 4.7 STARS HAS TO BE FAMILY MEMBERS.Service: Transmission

AAMCO wanted to rebuild my truck's transmission for over $4K plus. D Boys in Merritt Island got my truck running like new with new spark plugs and a transmission oil and filter change.

I hesitate to write this because it'll bite me in the rump.Took car to them to fix TCM 3-4 yrs ago, said it would take a few days to order part,found online so I picked up car,gave them 3* review(neither good or bad)recently car acting up(acceleration issue)found 3 different things wrong with car,none of which I put car in for so again, I picked up car.Upon reaching out later that day with the intention of having them do work, Jack(owner)told me 'we respectfully decline to work on your vehicle' due to poor review I had given them...again...3 stars !! I stand by my review.

I've taken my car to multiple places for the stabilitrak and control traction lights. If only I had brought it here 1st! I even paid a diagnostic fee (that didn't apply to the repairs) at the dealership (Bob Steele) and had something fixed only for my issues to continue. Finally Big Frank's referred me here because a transmission code showed up. I can't vouch for other AAMCOs, but the Jacks (father and son) run an honest shop! They showed me their findings and honest opinions about my car. At the end of the day, the car is not worth the work it was going to be to repair it. They didn't try to get me to fix it. I pulled my wallet out to pay the diagnostic fee. They said don't worry about it. Have a good day! I shed a few tears. If someone would've said this during 1 of my 5 trips to different auto shops, I'd have an extra $2,500 in my pocket! I'm not writing this for people to think they'll get a free diagnosis, but if you're having any type of transmission problems, this is the first place you need to go!

Finally found an honest mechanic that will troubleshoot a problem, not just check off items on a checklist. Proces and time to complete were very reasonable. They even fixed an issue I didn't ask them too solely because they could. Would recommend this shop to anyone!!!

Didn t plan on stopping but my van had other ideas when my transmission started messing up .. came across this place and they were more then helpful with no notice and got us right in .. an hour later and my van is running smoothly! I went to Aamco at the recommendation of a close friend. They had a very positive experience with the owner of this service center so I decided to take one of our company vehicles here that had a check engine light and some minor slipping with the transmission. They were great to work with, were very thorough and honest with the assessment and price. I would recommend them to work on your car if you are having any transmission issues. It seems that it is difficult to find an honest service center anymore, so this Aamco has found a customer for life.

They have definitely helped me out more than once. They have good prices and they are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely say they go above and beyond, it s hard to find a good mechanic you can trust so I m glad and lucky to find them. I thought there was an issue with my car and one of them drove to where I was and checked it, turns out to be an easy fix then drove to autozone to get what I needed then came back to help me out. Another day my car had the frame under hanging and they fixed it for free basically when I went to get my oil changed that day. And there was more than that they ve done. What can I say about this place. THE BEST IN TOWN! Even my kids bring their cars to them and they are treated with respect. I trust them, they do excellent work, and they are fast. Great experience. They diagnosed a problem caused by a improperly installed transaxle. Transaxle was installed by Dave's Beach Auto repair but not seated (sticking out 1.5 inches from the transmission) which caused the race/bearing to quick brake down and leak oil. Repaired at a great priceVery happy. AAMCO does all repairs, not just tranmission work. Have a new mechanic. Shop is the cleanest I have every seen.Service: Steering & suspension repair

A father and son family business with great old time service. You don t find any places like this around these days. They take pride in their work and they stand behind everything they do. I like the fact that they call ahead of time and check in with you to let you know if there s any extra parts that need to be ordered, and they fully explain everything to you. Outstanding customer service and repair! I noticed intermittent issues with my automatic transmission over time and miles. It was bucking and not down shifting properly occasionally. After several days of test drives the technicians were able to experience and duplicate the issues. Determined the transmission needed to be replaced. Now it s like a different vehicle better fuel economy, smooth acceleration no bucking or bumping.. Much cheaper than a New 4x4 Thanks Jack and Jack! Y all have assembled an excellent team! I ve waited around a month to write this to make sure things stayed smooth with the repair. I am beyond thankful of this place. Even if you have a shop you ve heard good things about or trust, bring your car here for a second opinion if nothing else.The clutch pedal of my 2007 Mazda6 was sticking to the floor, so I thought I might have a bad clutch slave cylinder. Took it to Gatto s on Merritt Island who said they looked and it was a worn throwout bearing, and they d need to replace my entire clutch system for around $1,200.Took it to AAMCO for a second opinion, told them Gatto s said it needed a clutch job for $1,200. They called me the next day letting me know it was a bad master cylinder and it would cost a little over $200 to replace. The job was done within 24 hours, the price was exactly as quoted, and my car drives better than it has since I bought it a year ago. After a month of driving, clutch is smooth and the trouble I used to have with first and second is gone.I can t recall the gentleman s name I worked with in the office, but he was honest and straightforward. Said his son did the repair, which doesn t change the quality of the work but is cool that it s a family endeavor that they clearly care about and are invested in doing a good job.10/10, will always trust this place, if you re looking for a place where you don t have to worry about being ripped off, please call them.

Quoted 257.00 when setting apt. (30.00 fan motor marked way up, 1 hour labor). Price changed to 360.00 after driving to preset appointment. Took to Erdman who agreed to replace for 250.00.Classic Florida smug attitude no extra charge. More expensive than car dealer.

The work was completed earlier than stated and the price was less than stated that it could be.Everything was as promised. Surprisingly they did the job correctly and the resulted repair was amazing. Their attitude wasn t your vehicle is older so you will just have to put up with it. Everyone was upfront and honest and did what they promised with assurance if there is problem let us know we will take care of it.One word describes this business and the father and son partnership and mechanics AWESOME! Paid to get my serpentine belt replaced and installed on my Toyota Corolla S and had to go back 3 times and they still couldn t adjust my belt to the correct adjustment.?! I had an extended wait every time I went back that wasn t the issue for me my time wasted was because they didn t do what their sign advertises Total Car Care . Make a long story short ended up going to the Mike Erdman Toyota dealership and of course had to pay more money just for them to look at it but they FIXED IT RIGHT THE 1ST TIME instead of dragging the customer making it seem like you fixed it.

Wow, what an amazing AAMCO service center! From professional meet and greet to diagnosing and fixing my 2008 Honda Accord's transmission problem, this team really knows what they're doing. After the service and best price ever, I asked for a tour. Jack Kirk (owner) walked me through the facility. The trans repair/rebuild "cleanroom" was just that, squeaky clean and incredible number of and well organized tools. It instilled highest confidence in their capabilities. Top transmission rebuild guy in Central Florida on their staff, too. My car is working great and I'm a happy customer, what could be better? Thanks guys. 5 star rating!!!!!Service: Transmission
