Title: Beware of Deceptive Charges at Kia of Clermont Service CenterI recently had my first oil change experience at the Kia of Clermont service center, and unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing and frustrating encounter. I brought in my leased 2023 Kia Sorento, which had only 6,000 miles on it, expecting to receive the routine oil change service that is typically covered under warranty. However, what I experienced was nothing short of a blatant attempt to overcharge and deceive customers.To my shock and dismay, I was presented with a bill totaling $120 for what was supposed to be a FREE oil change. Yes, you read that right $120 for a service that should have been covered as part of the warranty for a vehicle with minimal mileage. It's absurd and unacceptable.Not only was I charged an exorbitant amount for a supposedly complimentary service, but the explanation provided by the staff was vague and unsatisfactory. They failed to provide any valid justification for the unexpected charge, leaving me feeling cheated and taken advantage of.This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and has shattered any trust I had in the Kia of Clermont service center. It's clear that their priority lies in exploiting customers rather than providing honest and transparent service. I urge anyone considering servicing their vehicle here to proceed with caution and be wary of deceptive practices.In conclusion, my first oil change experience at Kia of Clermont was an absolute disaster, and I would give it a rating of 1 star, solely because there isn't an option for zero stars. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this service center at all costs.

If you schedule service here PLEASE reach out to Mr Brian Chand to take care of you. I have been to this location twice and both times Brian has went above and beyond to help and get my services completed as fast and as accurate as possible. From the easy check in process, to walking me to the waiting room to show me the amenities to checking on me during the process you can tell that he cares about you as a customer and wants you to be confident to return. Each oil change and random maintenance issues I ve ran into have been handled within an hour and a half and I ve had ZERO issues leaving the service center. Cars are always vacuumed and washed, odometer is set accordingly, paperwork to show how the check up went is neatly attached to an itemized receipt and Mr Chand has walked me to my vehicle each time to make sure everything was 100 percent up to my standards as a customer before handing me the keys. I can t thank Brian enough for being so kind, caring and considerate of my time and vehicle. There are no smoke and mirrors here. This is a service center that does just that. All the mechanics and staff are fantastic and informative you can tell they ALL take pride in their work. Remember to be patient as it can be busy at times. Everything runs smoother when you can show grace and patience and be kind. So when they get swamped, just flash em a smile and know your vehicle is in good hands and that good people are doing their best to take care of you. Thanks again Brian! See you for my next mileage check ups! Clermont Kia is very lucky to have you. A smile and a handshake when you walk in is priceless. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness sir!

I have nothing but positive things to say about my service rep, Marshall. He helped arrange for replacement of our nav screen and arranged all of the details with the warranty company. I found him to be friendly and professional, with great communication. It reminded me of dealing with a mom and pop type of business where they truly believe in building relationships with customers rather than seeing how much revenue they can generate. After a horrible experience with the sales department there, it was a refreshing change.

However, what awaited me was not just an overpriced bill but also a demonstration of poor customer service and questionable practices.Firstly, let's address the financial aspect. I was shocked to find that what should have been a straightforward service, priced at around $50 at any reputable service center, resulted in a bill exceeding $170. This significant discrepancy between the expected and actual cost was not justified by any additional services rendered or parts replaced. It was simply an unjustifiable markup, leaving me feeling exploited and cheated.Moreover, the lack of transparency regarding the pricing only added insult to injury. There was no clear breakdown provided for the inflated charges, and when questioned, the staff seemed evasive and unhelpful. It's evident that Kia of Clermont prioritizes profit over honesty and fair treatment of customers.Aside from the financial aspect, the overall service experience was severely lacking. Not a great experience. I went in for an oil change that I had an appointment for. Left two and a half hours later. Was quoted one price for the oil change, was charged a different, slightly higher price. Was also charged random fees for maintaining the service department that I was told other places "hide in the prices". Putting the cost of maintenance in the pricing isn't hiding it. You are supposed to price services so that your business can cover everything, not charge extra for that. Overall, not a good experience. Will avoid going back if at all possible.

Question: Who removes a cabin air filter and doesn't put it back??? The other crew working on my wife's vehicle brought out the cabin air filter to show us in the lobby how many leaves had accumulated on the cabin filter. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry when they showed me 3 to 4 inches on top of the filter. Anyone who has seen how to change out the filter would know there isn't enough space between the top, bottom, or sides of the filter housing to hold 3 to 4 inches of debris directly on the top, bottom, or sides. Kia of Clermont should realize that some of its customers might have worked in the industry, and incentives to upsell cabin or engine filters are not worth embarrassing yourself and losing a customer who now drives to Kia of Leesburg when I live 4 miles from Kia of Clermont.

Amazing staff. Super friendly. Even washed and vacuumed my car. Spacious lounge with USB and outlets while you wait, charge your phone or plug in your laptop. I went in for an oil change, about an hour, the service advisor kept me informed, even had a video made of the inspection of my vehicle.

I HOPE I CAN SAVE A YOUNG OR INEXPERIENCED CAR BUYER. YOU ARE BETTER OFF NOT GOING HERE ESPECIALLY FOR A USED CAR , And Particularly When Said Car Needs To Be Serviced.Bought a used car from this dealership wish i could go back in time and slap myself for getting involved with this dealership.. Their customer service sucks and lacks empathy especially for mistakes done in their part . They will sale you a car with no isssues then tell you they can t cover the issues of a vehicle you ve had for less the 6months .

I had an 8:30 appointment and met My service adviser Brian Chand. Brian let me know about 30 minutes later that it was going to take longer for the service than they had originally thought he offered a ride back to my home through lyft I took him up on the offer and My car was finished I was given a call that the lyft was on its way. My car was cleaned and repaired And it was a great experience thank you to all.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I recently went in for a complimentary oil change and was told I needed a tire rotation as well. There was a small charge for this, not a big deal. My car was ready and I left not thinking I needed to inspect my vehicle to make sure the services were completed. I stopped at a store on my way home and when I returned to my car I notice the same rim that was damaged at the car wash earlier in the week was still in the same spot. I called the dealership and was asked to bring it back but I was almost home and it would have been another 45 minutes back there. I asked for a refund but was told I had to wait for a manager. The service advisor called and apologized profusely and stated a refund would be difficult and lengthy but he could provide me with a free rotation going forward and a free tank of gas. (Not really free when I ve already paid for it but ok) I ve been contacted multiple times about this and that a manager would be calling but still no follow up calls from anyone. I was told I was supposed to be shown video of the work being done but that didn t happen so I m not entirely confident that my oil was changed. I ended up getting both services redone locally. I m now disputing the charges and will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for service going forward. It s a shame because I had an amazing experience with the sales department.

I went for flat tire. I have a warranty for that! They dont let me finish my situation and the guy just said that they just work with appointment and the next one will be for Monday! First time they said that to me. I was there before with same situation and they help me the same day! I prefer to drive to City Kia they always respond when I have an issue with my car!
