Jim is an unbelievably helpful, kind, knowledgeable mechanic. Conversing with him reminds me of how things were in 'the old days'. I am a recently widowed, single mother who had been fortunate enough to have a husband who could fix anything. When he passed, and I found myself in need of a mechanic for my vehicle, all the horror stories I've heard through the years of mechanics taking advantage of women with no knowledge of vehicles to know any better came flooding to the forefront of my mind. I began researching on the internet for someone, ANYONE who might be honest left out there. Through Google Reviews, I found Jim. He had by FAR the most 5 star reviews around and so many more customers of his had taken the time to write detailed reviews attesting to his honesty and fairness. I gave him a call and he worked me in immediately. He has been since that day and will remain for as long as he keeps his doors open, my one and only mechanic. He is no nonsense, explains things thoroughly, gives options, very fairly priced and very kind. Trust me, you won't regret giving him a chance. Save yourself the money and frustration and just go straight to Jim's Auto & Cycle

Jim is friendly, professional, and fast as lightening with a very keen eye for detail. Within hours, he had started dismantling my husband's classic Chevy. We've even had painters that let the car sit for months before they did anything, not Jim. He started working the same day. He wasted no time. He also demands perfection from part merchants before he will add anything to an automobile because he seems to really value his work.Thanks, Jim,Mrs. RhodesP.S.I'm still going to go with the Mustang over the Camaro lol

Took my 57 to several shops...they all were horrible in one way or anotherJim installed the motor in my 57 and it's awesome fantastic mechanic I live in north florida and no one but jim will ever touch my car again...highly recommended!!!!!

I met Jim through his wife Trish who is my massage therapist. I had him look at my Kia because the dealership told me I needed to change the power steering fluid for over $500. Turns out it was fine. How many shops would be that honest?Obviously I was very grateful for that. Jimfixed another problem with the hatchback and gave me a quote on preventative maintenance for the car.I m so happy to have a talented professional right down the street to take care of my car. Jim's, owned and operated by Jim himself, is an old-fashioned, American auto and cycle shop. Jim is trustworthy and fair. He's price competitive, but not always the cheapest. But, if you want cheap, you'll get what you pay for. I don't trust my wife's life nor my own to some entry-level employees of some corporate chain who have no skin in the game. If I pay a little more, but I get personalized service (yes, he'll remember you!) as well as peace of mind, it's worth it all day, every day. And, he stands by his work! Reliability is rare these days. Hence why I said that he reminds me of the old-fashioned shops of my youth. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

Jim's shop is incredible. He has now worked on 2 cars of mine and also my Harley. After searching around at the local shops I found he is the cheapest in the Clermont/Minneola area and is very informative. He finished the work on all my vehicles extremely fast and even found a couple things that another shop missed. He walked me around to the car showing me exactly what was wrong and told me how to prevent it in the future. I highly recommend Jim's shop to anyone needing a mechanic.

Fantastic Mechanic!! Finally found an honest mechanic who isn't trying to make himself rich off every customer. He did what was needed and recommended a couple other services in the next few months all of which cost half of what the other guys wanted to charge. He has now worked on all my vehicles and my families as well. Stop looking around and just call Jim, trust me it'll save you time and money!

I own a 1989 BMW 325i Convertible which is not the easiest vehicle to work on because of it's age, but low and behold I found Jim's Auto & Cycle Service.Jim had the equipment to diagnose the several problems that I was having, from the rear wheel bearings, the a/c unit and some electrical problems. All which were fixed in a matter of days, and I wasn't taken to the cleaners on the price!!!I would definately recommend Jim's Auto & Cycle Service to everyone I meet!! Top notch quality!!

I have always had stress of taking my car to get fixed... are they going to overcharge, tell me something I need to fix AND DON'T need...etc. Jim has always been very honest of what I need and what I Don't! I appreciate Jim so much for being just a " Good Guy" and doesn't take advantage!!!

Jim is probably the most honest mechanic I have ever come across. He fixed my a/c instead of replacing the entire system like I was told my the dealership. I would recommend anyone to go see Jim.

Great guy, fair prices. Always kept me in the loop with time-frames and repair statuses. His shop rates are honest as is the work he does. Highly recommend him as someone who is honest, reliable, and has fair prices!

Amazing service and honest individual. He's not the cheapest but his service is better than a dealer . He cares and doesn't take advantage of a situation to line his own pockets .The best MECHANIC I'VE EVER HAD.If it's got a motor he can fix !!
