Not only are the people at this business unprofessional, they are obviously liars as well. At no point did they inform me the vehicle was not worth repairing. Now they are claiming to be a faith based business. There is nothing Godly about the individuals there. The men I dealt with directly over a course of three days were not kind, loving people. As stated previously I lost all trust and confidence in this business. When I was contacted to refund me $250 out of the $1440 I paid by debit card, I was told to pick up cash. I feel this was so there was no record of the $250 refund because it could have been refunded back to my debit card. You claim the vehicle is not repairable, however was persistent in calling trying to get it back to your shop, even called the mechanic that referred me to your business trying to get me to bring him the vehicle, although he originally informed me he does not work on that type and referred me to Wayne Purdy European Motors. Still in your response you are saying to bring it back. Unfortunately, I will not be returning the vehicle back to this establishment. It will be going to Jaguar for now on, although you are located closer and was more convenient.From true believers in Christ, God Bless You All!

Very unprofessional service. I towed my classic Jaguar in for a diagnostic and connect a starter wire. When asked what the diagnostic fee would be I was informed it would start at a minimum $500 and their fee was $179/hour. I paid the initial $500 to start the diagnostic. The next morning I received a call saying my vehicle was started but needed another $500 to continue the diagnostic. When I went to take the additional $500 I informed them that I will not put anymore money towards diagnostic fees and requested their professional diagnosis what was going on with the vehicle. I never heard of this technique before. Upon walking out to leave I saw my car coming up the road driving smoothly, no ticking or any other noises. The next day I arrived to pick up my vehicle and was told I had to pay an additional $420 to receive my car in addition was told that I would not be able to drive it away, I will have to tow the vehicle home. I was confused because I saw the vehicle operating smoothly just a day prior. I had no choice but to pay the amount requested and have my vehicle towed back home or allow them to keep it and keep charging me an outrageous fee that still has not been justified. I was given 3 different invoices never was called to authorize any work to be completed. As soon as I arrived back home with my car I received a call from Wayne himself saying he would like to refund me $250 and bring the car back. At this point I lost trust and did not feel comfortable taking it back. It is ironic how just a day prior the car was operating great. The next morning Brent called me to pick up the $250 and he would install the fuel injectors out of his pocket. By the way my car still has very low mileage. I never too my vehicle back due to not trusting the customer service and professional ability of all parties involved.

Everyone that works at Wayne Purdy is very knowledgeable and helpful. I always bring my wife s Lexus and my Toyota for service and repair and they always go above and beyond. I recommend them to anyone. They do a fantastic job and stand behind their work.

Very overpriced! I got an estimate for ABS breaks for my BMW. He was three times higher than European motors on Court Steet in Clearwater.So glad I got another estimate!

My MB had back brake light off, a local MB suggest to change the whole wire system in the back, they estimate around $500, I went to European Motors, Marty suggest to leave the car and inspect it, 3 hours later called to pick up, the invoice was $130 and the car is perfect!What a bless to still have honest people beyond business! On top how nice to have experts in European cars!!!My trust and gratitude to this family!This is my third year coming with Marty, always profesional and fare!What a bless to have an European specialist in Clearwater!

Mr. Marty Purdy, Wayne, and the entire team at Wayne Purdy exemplify what exceptional customer service means. Not only did they complete the repairs on my Volvo, but they kept my vehicle for over a week in order to properly diagnose a stubborn and intermittent fuel sensor issue. They showed great determination and empathy for my situation and delivered the greatest customer service experience I have ever had. I cannot believe I am saying this about a mechanic(s)-but Wayne Purdy European Motors truly care about their clients and their fine reputation is well-deserved. Wayne Purdy European Motors is a professional service station whose people are very knowledgeable, fair, and honest. One nice bonus to having your car worked on there is that they do a wonderful job cleaning the car inside and out. Therefore, not only is your car returned in good working order, it is retuned much cleaner than it was. These guys are absolutely amazing. We own a 2003 Z3 BMW convertible, that we leave in Florida to use when we come to visit. We've been putting off having serviced because we didn't know any good mechanic shop in the area. Then my daughter in law recommended Wayne Purdy Shop and it was a bless. They inspected the car, found the issue immediately, gave us an estimate and few days later the car was better than before.Kudos and ten thumbs up for this mechanic shop in Clearwater, they know cars!!. Brought my mom's 1991 Mercedes to Wayne to see if it was worth mechanically restoring. We thought this companies' reviews were good but unfortunately, we didn't have the same positive experience as others. He assured me he would take good care of my mom. (The Christian "on hold" music is a nice touch). Wayne called back with a verbal estimate of Six Thousand and change. Basically, He got the goldmine, and we got the shaft. Do yourself a favor and print out the Florida Statute 559.905 and follow it to the letter.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Wayne Purdy European Motors provided above and beyond service. The entire team is honest, friendly, professional and straight to the point. They provided me with an estimate of my repair and how long the repair would take. The car was repaired hours earlier than anticipated and hundreds of dollars chepaer than the dealership or any other European Car Maintenance or Repair facility in the area !Any car, European or not, Wayne Purdy European Motors is hands down the place to go!!! I had gone to Wayne Purdy years ago when I had my XK8. So naturally, when I got my new XKR I knew where to take it. Wow! Is love an emotion you can use for an auto repair shop? ;)This staff and work at this place is amazing. Everyone here gives you honest, genuine feedback... and is able to quickly trouble shoot issues. These guys are awesome. They've been here over forty years servicing some of the finest automobiles. I drive a Ford Explorer utility and they treat me No different than someone driving a Ferrari. From the front desk to the technicians and not to forget the young man that clean your car's before you pick them up. I highly recommend them even though that might mean I have to wait a little longer for my Service, they deserve the business. I promise you will not be disappointed.

First time bringing our 2003 Boxster S to Wayne Purdy. Electrical gremlins were drawing down the battery and causing issues with the dash electrical components. Wayne Seidell was extremely knowledgeable and called quickly with diagnostics and estimates. Electrical issues fixed due to bad alternator. Also investigated and fixed rear suspension noise and 4 wheel alignment (where another shop did alignment twice and was still pulling). They even washed/detailed the car when service is completed! I will be back for ongoing maintenance and would highly recommend this shop for anyone.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Wheel alignment

I always feel like my 2003 Mercedes C-240 is in good hands when I take it into Wayne Purdy European Motors. They're nice people with a professional attitude to match. If you're looking for competent , professional, mechanics at a reasonable price. Traveling from out of state we had some serious noises coming from the engine in my Ford Vehicle. We took a chance and drove the last last two hours of our journey to get to Clearwater Florida. A friend recommended we call Marty to see if he could look at our vehicle. I called Marty and he explained his shop was very busy but come on over and at least he would take a look to see what was wrong. I stopped over the next morning and was greeted by his mother behind the counter. She was very polite and knowledgeable about automobiles. Marty and his tech looked at my vehicle and knew instantly the water pump was failing. We were traveling and Marty moved us in to get it fixed the same day! Not only did he get it fixed his estimate was very reasonable and he held true to the estimate. Great service and very friendly people. I would surely recommend them to anyone in need of car repair in the area.

Fast, excellent service. We are greatful to have our van back running within twenty four hours after we took it to the shop after being without for almost two months. Now Michael is back to taking rides in his accessible van, which brightens his day!
