Always greeted from the desk when entering the building. The courtesy and respect from the employees to myself and to my car is impeccable. They aren't just after your money they actually care, and treat you vehicle like their own. Excellent communication, and reliable service. Tires you can trust.

I get my oil changes done here and they re always able to squeeze me in. Fast and polite service. Even left a flower in my car! They also gave me a free tire one time when they weren t able to repair a hole. Nothing but good things to say about their service

I ve use this particular store several times over the last few years and every single time with consistency I felt well serviced! I desperately need a new tires for my car as they had gotten shredded and Jeff and the manager made sure to make it go right to get my tires in the same day from another store, so that I would be safe on the road. This last time when I got into my car, there was this beautiful flower with a note which was asking me to let them know how they did, I thought it was a lovely touch!Service: Tires

The tech spoke with me when I first arrived and then when I returned after my tires were delivered. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk managers were both polite and helpful

My mother and I were on vacation in Clearwater with an enterprise rental car. Of course it would be our luck that we run over a nail. We took it to this tires plus and they got our car in the bay and in the air in what seemed like no time. And we were back on the road within an hour with peace of mind.Thank you for all your help and assisting us so quickly so we could get back to our vacation!

Dwayne and crew are great! Have been to this location many times. Yesterday I suspected I had a slow leaking tire, they checked out my tire in less than 30 minutes, despite being at full capacity. Repaired my tire, had me on my way with a flower gift in my car, a smile and thank you. (And no charge!) I am a loyal customer. Thanks again!

They know what there doing with cars but if you sign up for the card to make payment they say it's a soft pull but it's really a hard inquiry which makes your credit score go way down for TransUnion

If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would because this is a spectacular failure.I take my car on Monday to get preventative maintenance- an oil change and serpentine belt change. I take my car home, no problems, and then I drove to work the next day (Tuesday) and it stalls. Luckily, I was close to where I needed to be, so I jump the battery and pulled into my parking spot. When I was ready to go home, she started up with some hesitation, and about half way home, she stalls again. I called this Tires Plus, and they say that it possibly could be related to the belt change, but to call the nearest Firestone since they are affiliated. I called that Firestone and jumped my battery again to get there. I get to the Firestone, they told me that they re diagnostic guy has gone home for the day and that all they can do is run a load test on my battery in my alternator. Their test showed that everything was fine and that we should just try to go home. We turn the car on and no sooner do we get off of the Firestone lot does my car completely stall again. AAA shows up to tow my car back to this Tires Plus. The next day (Wed) they run a diagnostic test after saying that it possibly could be the belt causing issues, and eventually their diagnostic guy says that my battery terminals are bad and because of that my battery is dead and my alternator is fried. I ask what the price of everything would be, and Tom tells me that the alternator with labor will be about $450 and that new terminals were less than $10 so your total shouldn t be more than $500 with labor and everything, but he needs to locate terminals. The next day (Thursday) they call and tell me my total is going to be $950. I ask for a breakdown of charges, I and they say that the new terminals are going to be $240 for parts and labor, even though the night before I had just been told that it was going to be no more than $50. I told him not to do any work on my car, but to send me the breakdown of charges, and I will call them back to give them a greenlight to work on my car. Over the phone I was baffled how my bill doubled overnight and the person over the phone (Duane) says that he can give the car back not working if I wanted it. Based off of the breakdown of charges, I walked into Tires Plus with my boyfriend, and immediately the story changes. We tell them that we want to take my vehicle somewhere else, and Duane says that the work is already done, and that he wouldn t want to give me a car that doesn t work. We are baffled at this and start to bring up these points with him and he goes I don t understand why you re arguing with me when I m not charging you for this . Just to be clear, at no point in time did he say that he was not going to charge for the terminals, in fact, all of an hour earlier, he said that he was going to charge almost $240 and a $120 diagnostic fee for it. Very quickly, he takes off those charges, hands us our keys, and we pay about $440 for the work. I go to drive off the lot, and the first key turn my car doesn t start. We attribute it to a new battery that hasn t been charged, so we drive it around to run some errands and charge up the battery (we went up and down 19, down back roads, the whole thing). We go to get gas, and she doesn t start. A few very kind gentlemen hook up their truck battery to try and jump it and it still doesn t start. I call AAA again to get a tow, and they suspect the starter has gone bad. We tow it to a family mechanic were they are going to take a look at it, but they suspect the starter as well.I asked why that may be, and they said something as simple as bad wiring or allowing wires to touch when installing the alternator or battery could have friend the starter.I will never be taking my car back to any Tires Plus ever again. You ve had me as a customer for years and now you ve lost me as a customer for many more to come. For context, I didn t have any of these problems before I got my serpentine belt changed. You guys are lucky that this didn t get me into an accident.

This location is in the heart of everything. I stopped to check my tire pressure and to put air in my tires about 7:45 am they were open. Manager and 2 other staff there and he told me I would have to come back or wait 20 mins for the tire technician to come in?????? You need a tire technician to check tire pressure and put air in a tire? Ridiculous and indicative of this particular location on Gulf to Bay. I work near this location and prefer to use the Mavis location down seminole instead of going to the Tiresplus near my home on Ulmerton and rather pass the 2 other locations that are on seminole and Gulf to Bay(Mavis and Tires plus are now under the same ownership) because of the lack of customer service and ability to be professional or assist a customer in an appropriate way. I was informed it is under new management maybe all this will change now that there is new management. Tires plus has been always been extremely overpriced and in my open lack any kind of customer service. I hope that Mavis values and attention to customer service rub off on the Tireplus side if not I definitely will find other options.

Took over 3 hours for a balance rotation and alignment just for them to tell me my bolts are stripped and they can't get them loose to do the alignment. I've only been to tire pluse to do my alignments so if the bolts are stripped it's from your service tech. I will not be doing business with tire plus any longer.Services: Tires, Wheel alignmentServices: Tires, Wheel alignment

I had my car towed here on a Sunday, I was told it would be looked at on the following Monday.Monday comes and goes, no call.I call the following Tuesday to get an update on my car. They told me they would call back in an hour with an estimate. The issue I was having with my car was the rubber bushing on my transmission cable had worn away.I told them this when I initially brought my car in.So they call me back and tell me that it s going to be $718.48 for parts and labor. They tried telling me that I needed the entire cable replaced.I know that was in incorrect because I was able to shift it to reverse when I initially had it towed there.I told them that I will have it towed somewhere else to get it done cheaper than that.So when I get there to pick my car up, they tell me that I m going to need to to pay $120 for the diagnostic. So I asked the guy why did they run a diagnostic on the car when I told them what the issue was in the first place. He then changed his tune and said that s the fee for them to look at the car. These guys tried to price gouge me, misdiagnose my car, and when I called them out on it, they charged me for basically nothing. To add insult to injury, they told me the $120 was a discount and they threatened to charge me more when I protested.Do not come here.Update: 8/23/23I had my car towed to another auto shop (K Tire,Inc) and they charged me $140, and had my car done in an hour. They confirmed to me what I had already known, that my transmission cable wasn t broken, and all I needed was the rubber bushing.

When I arrived to get the alignment done on my car, the guy who filled out the documents for me was drunk, and he also said that they could only do it tomorrow. I was afraid to leave the car because he was drunk.

Had a bad tire issue on vacation. They were great. Made a price mistake on struts of over $200. They did not make me pay because nobody called to tell me. I didn't even ask. I said "oh that's a lot more than quoted". He looked and said yep you're right and nobody called you. I will take care of that! Very good customer service

Took my car in due to a flat tire. Dwayne the manager was rude and unprofessional he told me I needed 4 new tires so I got 4 new tires! The new tires were put on wrong so I went back the next day and told Dwayne I wanted new tires . Then after waiting 4 hours he told me they couldn t get the tires off that they put on the day before! They scratched all of my rims terribly trying to get the tires they put on yesterday off !! And Dwayne the manager told me the scratches were already there! Highly do NOT recommend this tires plus !!!

Bed, need to fix a screw on my tire, and the first thing out of his mouth was, you need a new tire a good way to scam you, they take your 50% good tire and sell it for a good profit, mean time you pay for a good tire that u don't need, bed way to play in this economy

Well, I'm basing this on my first impression. The manager (who's no longer there, I'm told) had a real attitude with me and when I called him out on it he stepped back and apologized but by then my guard was already up. The newer management is super nice and not condescending and I appreciate that. Having said this, they did fix my tire issue and everything is ok now. 4 stars only because of that first interaction.

! Guys were awesome and worked on my tire no charge. That was the first visit kept giving them my business eventually through a couple of years found out I was getting ripped off all along. Spent at least 4 thousand $ there. After spending a thousand for a fuel pump on last job they they needed another thousand for a spark plug job which two other shops told me were not needed. It constantly became we need another 100$ to put it in the computer to see what s wrong. The work became so shoddy on top of it. Manager said they couldn t put the daze back in right cause weather expended it( it was only off like an hour so I m sure they just didn t care. Still has a pinched thick wire hanging from the dash. Don t go there, you might get lucky but probably not. Up to you to take the chance. Use a mom and pop place, they need our support more the these big companies ripping everyone off!

Everyone I interacted with at this location is courteous and informative. I went there for tire install and alignement. The crew does take time to vet the car and tell you about things that need attention. I did find their prices to be on the high end but maybe it's because of current economic state? I hate to have to write this terrible review. I've been in the taxi cab business for 25 years and I know which end is up... I was given a price for brakes on my car.. I agreed and once they got the car the tire off. They told me they would not put it back together without brand new rotors. I told them I was no longer interested in them doing the work on my car after we already agreed on a price and the work.. they charged me $11. I usually tip the mechanic but this time I had to tell him to go get his tip from the dishonest manager

I left my truck to do rotation and balance, they told me will be ready in 3 hours, i call them after 5 hours, nothing! So i decided to pick it up nex morning, I lost my work day all ready, nex morning i wen to get my car and the guy told me they couldn't do the job! I was in shock! " we don't have the right sockets for your tires" he said! A place doing almost anything for tires don't have a right socket! I don't believe it. Shame on you guys!

The people are very nice at tires plus and the pricing is fair. I got my oil changed and headlight bulbs replaced.I didn't give them a 5 star review because there were 2 small scratches on my bumper where they took off the headlamp casing to change the light bulbs.
