The owner, Kim, goes above and beyond. He s fair, honest, and reliable. When my vehicle required a repair that the dealer needed to do, Kim looked over their recommendations to ensure I wasn t overcharged or deceived.As a single woman, it s hard to find an auto shop where I receive respect and fairness. I m incredibly grateful to have finally found a good to shop in Skycrest Auto!

I came to Kim arter thy told me in Clearwater Toyota dealership they will charge 215$ just to diagnose a problem I've had with my lighter socketI came to Kim and he solved it in 3 minutes ( a fuse) and paid 16$. This is honesty and professionalism.i highly recommend

My grandmother used this shop for years and always spoke highly of it. After moving back to the area I found myself needing a repair that wasn't covered by the warranty so I decided to give Skycrest a shot. I'm very glad I did. Honest prices with super fast and friendly service.If you need auto repairs don't waste your time with other shops just go here!

I first went into the shop for an insurance inspection. They were great, so went back for an oil change and battery replacement. They were fair, prompt and honest. Mr. Kim has been in business for 40 years. Great shop.

He's been servicing our cars for years and always does excellent work at great prices. Totally honest & we know we can trust him to do great work at a great price.A good friend for over 20 years has been taking her cars to him for over 15 years and referred us. Simply the best in town no matter what kind of car you're driving.

I went to Skycrest based on the reviews for an axel repair. The price was reasonable but, within a few days my car started making a horrendous scraping sound that it didn't have prior. Called and took it back and was told I needed new rotors and they would install them at cost. Rotors replaced, then once again the same horrendous sound, this time even worse. Called and went back again, was told ball joint and they would replace it at cost. Nope not this time...I had researched it and took it to another repair shop. No ball joint issue,, it was the ABS sensor that was damaged when they repaired the axel. Sensor changed, no further problems. Now I have new rotors for no reason. CONSUMERS BEWARE!

My family has come to Skycrest for nearly 20 years based on one principle: if you don't need it, you're not going to have to pay for it. Simply put, Kim and his mechanics will do what they can and only recommend what you actually need. His rates are reasonable. His work ethic is great. Kim is an honest man who really does have a passion for working on cars. I've been going to him for about 5 yrs and I won't go anywhere else even though there are many other shops closer to me in south st. Pete. I know he will diagnose the problem right the first time and not push or just do something that isn't completely needed and he works for a fare price. Thank you Kim.

Was having issues with my car not starting overnight took the battery to get checked by NAPA Auto parts was cleared as good as well as my alternator. Kept having the same issue called AAA on two separate occasions they also said the battery and alternator were both good. And so on the third occasion where my car would not start overnight after being parked I took it to skycrest auto services the owner was very nice and gave me a temporary battery to run my errands for the day and ordered the correct size and had it there in less than an hour and put in for less than what AAA would have charged me even if they would have replaced my battery.

Excellent service on simple and difficult issues. Good honest advice instead of always trying to sell you something extra. I have been servicing my vehicles here for years and once heard the owner talk another customer out of unnecessary work they wanted.

My family and I have been using SkyCrest Auto for over 5 years and have nothing but great things to say about this place. Kim and his mechanics are honest and knowledgeable. If you are in the Clearwater/Dunedin area this is the place to go to
