Pinellas Auto Body has been my go-to Auto shop now for 15+ years & I bought my current car from them 7 yrs ago. I trust them!I needed my yearly checkup & needed new tires which I know they don't supply. Also needed a ball joint fixed & alignment with balancing done with the 4 tires I bought. I had an oil change, a drivers side visor replaced that I found & had shipped there & everything else checked. Yes my car is a bit older so it needs regular maintenance.I was given a list of other fixes I need to do but not dire so overall everything I needed done was done right & quickly. I brought my car in on a Wed & got it back by Friday which was what I was told the time it would take.Alan always helps me when he's working.He is friendly, knowledgeable & dependable. He ALWAYS goes above & beyond.Thanks Alan AND the Pinellas Auto Body team!!!Traci

Took a little long to diagnose the exact problem, but when they did it was great. They were efficient fast and friendly. Alan was great as letting me know how things were going and the status of my car. He was also good at describing what we needed and why. Bonus... they won't rip you off either!!

I love this shop. I was having a problem with my car and took it to a different shop they charged me so much and never really fixed the problem. Thankfully I came to Pinellas auto service and they fixed my car so quickly at a great price. They really know what they are doing and they are very kind. I will not take my car anywhere else. Thank you so much to the whole team there. You have a customer for life

I have had my car towed here a few times and in the past their service has always been exceptional. I was towed for a starter that went bad but they found other issues one being two bald tires and a control arm. But it wasn't just the control arm it was also a bad tire rod that was the worst of the issue. I was sent elsewhere for the tires and the other shop showed me the reason my tires were going bad. This shop really needs to include tires and tire related issues as part of their service.

Highly highly upset by the service from Pinellas Auto. Paid almost $200 for a universal battery holder and installation which had an $80 diagnostics fee included into the price. The reason I m so disappointed is because I had to take my car to a whole other shop and pay about $300 extra for a new alternator just two days later. Pinellas Auto did not run a diagnostic or else they would have known it was my alternator going bad. Therefore I was charged almost $200 for absolutely nothing getting fixed by them. Oh and to make matters worse they had my car for like 3days and still couldn t figure out the problem. The next shop I had my car taken to had my car all of 45min before they called to tell me it was my alternator! And to add insult to injury, I m the manager of a local donut shop and I brought the crew of Pinellas Auto about 2doz gormet donuts and didn t receive any discount either or any offer on future services. Just all around bad business at Pinellas Auto, I swear I will never go back or recommend anyone to them.Truthfully I d like to demand a refund cuz what did I actually pay y all for?!?!?!

Everyone was great. My car wouldn t start and I had my car towed to them and they were able to figure out the issue quickly and get my car fixed that same day. The staff kept me informed of the progress and kept their word. Wonderful service

Its nice to deal with a honest group of folks at Pinellas auto. I went in for a front end noise I couldn't idenify only to find out it was just a couple of strut bolts that had become loose. They got everything tighened down and was on my way. No pressure to replace stuff or do more work. Defintly my go to shop for all serviceJim

Very good shop. I don t take my vehicle in for service very many places but this is one of the few I trust. Great prices and they keep you informed through every step

They left a rag in my engine bay which could ve destroyed my whole car and were too lazy to pick up the phone and call me when my car was done so I wasted time I could ve been working. My master cylinder broke two days after coming here and the engine won t even start well like it used to after they supposedly replaced the housing gasket. They also don t tell you the price before replacing anything. Don t come here

I have only had positive experience with Pinellas Auto. Their staff is friendly and they are honest- which is hard to come by! Wouldn t take my car anywhere else!

I mostly dealt with Alan and he was great. They had to get most of my parts new but he found a used part to save me some money since the repair cost $1500.. it was expensive! My only recommendation is the mechanics here working to not up sell or get one over on people. Those bad reviews can absolutely make a person avoid your service. You get more with honesty as you get return customers! Never up sell, never lie, and never rip off! Alan was fantastic. I d only recommend him due to the other poor reviews and bad experiences with other people. Bless Alan; he was fantastic!

Through AAA, I scheduled a tow truck to pick up my car because it wouldn't start and when another tech they have was sent out to try to jump my car's battery on Sunday, when the shop wasn't open. So, on Tuesday, I called for a tow truck to take my car to the shop. Sky arrived rather quickly and was able to get my car secured rather quickly. He also let me know that the tread from my tires was separating, something that I didn't notice at first. I was grateful for him letting me know about that so that I could get that fixed promptly.The drive there was nice and Sky was really friendly the entire time he drove me to the shop. When I went into the lobby, it was rather clean and they provided coffee as well as crisp, cold water. My vehicle was taken in to the shop rather quickly and everything was explained to me rather succinctly and I was kept in the loop the entire five hours I was there.Now, before you say five hours is a long time to wait for a simple repair, they said that they had to try to give the battery a chance before replacing it, so they opted to charge the battery, which had taken five hours to do. They saved me a bunch of money, too, by taking this route as the service was only $20, my cheapest car repair bill yet!All in all, I would definitely return to this shop for future repairs and tune ups. When my car wouldn't start I called AAA. This shop responded immediately and sent Adam out to help.It goes without words how courteous, helpful and honest Adam was. A true professional. Referred through AAA to get my car towed as it wouldn't start, both the office and technician experience was very positive. After waiting several hours for towing, the office called AAA themselves to push the dispatch through to their system. Without that call he made, I would have waited under the excuse from AAA that it was just a really busy day. Tyler, the technician (who initially came to tow the car) had a gentle approach and was very thorough and patient in explaining the diagnostics of why he felt it was just a battery and not the starter or alternator. A co-worker came out with equipment to verify it was the battery. The coordination between staff was great.Service: Battery

Swift service with care and concern! I had to make a call to AAA when my battery died one morning on our way to a one day trip to Disney World. I wish i could give them 10 stars. I am a single mom all the way from Oklahoma and my car broke down!! They worked with me after falling on hard times and having to travel back to florida from oklahoma. These are good people that believe in doing the right thing for their customers. They treated me with compassion and understanding. Thank you again Pinellas Auto. My morning began with a failed battery in my car. Being a AAA+ member, I called for assistance and they assigned Pinellas Auto Body and Service to fulfill my request. Gabriel showed up a reasonable amount of time later with a smile on his face, and an eagerness to fix my problem. His work was quick, efficient, and the job of installing a new battery was completed in no time at all. He maintained a professional and respectable attitude and also proved to be quite personable. I have yet to use other services they may offer at the shop because I just became aware of their existence today. But this five star review was well earned by their field service tech Gabriel. If he's representative of others that work with this company, then of course they would all get five stars. I definitely would not hesitate to give them a try. Thanks for the great service Gabriel. Service provided by the staff of Pinellas Auto Service Inc was exceptional! They explained every detail of what was needed to get me back on all four wheels. After a hectic morning with a vehicle that would not start, their customer service, communication updates regarding my car and text check up on my sweet chocolate ride the day after I'd picked up my vehicle were all greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Pinellas Auto for your next scheduled vehicle maintenance or (as in my case) unexpected vehicle emergency. Life happens. Select the Best!
