It's been a rough year for my family financially and unfortunately the maintenance on our only vehicle has taken a backseat for too long. At the beginning of this week, I heard a new sound coming from my front driver side brake. One that no one wants to hear. We had put off our brake servicing so long that the brake pad was completely gone and I was running metal on metal. My husband was out of town for work and I work four tens- waking up at 5 am Monday through Thursday for work. On top of all that I had already sent out invitations for my daughters 12th birthday sleepover for the coming Saturday that I was neck deep in preparing for alone.By the time I made it into Mavis Friday morning, I was basically a ball of stress. I began trying to explain my situation, that my vehicle was in bad shape but I was on a tight budget, but could barely get a word out before the tears came rolling in. They were so kind and understanding, and went above and beyond to help me figure out what I could afford that needed to be done immediately and what I could come back for when my budget allowed it. The kindness and consideration I was shown reflects a high standard of care that greatly surpasses anything I could have anticipated. There are truly no words to express how grateful I am to have ended up in their care. I would recommend this location to anyone, you don't find customer service that is this genuine often.*Edit* Tim is the gentleman who was so kind and helpful to me. He is an amazing human!

Highly recommended! Had a huge screw in my tire that needed repair on my way into work. It would have left me stranded after I got off for sure. Stopped by Mavis and these guys patched and repaired my tire in under an hour. Nice place!

First came in for my front brakes, $1,100, pricey, but all was well. Then the next day my back wheel is completely off the frame shown in the picture, supposedly unrelated to them fixing the brakes. So $1,600 in 2 days, not great pricing or discounts at all. Wouldn't even comp me new wipers. Service was quick though so that's a plus.

Came in to have tires installed and an alignment. Had an excellent experience, John was very professional and friendly at the front desk, and let me know about further repairs that were recommended on my vehicle. This was a first time visit for me, but it certainly won t be the last. The work was done in a timely manner and I m confident that it was done correctly. Highly recommended place to go!

I got a flat tire this morning so I went straight to Mavis. I got a new tire and they also recommended changing the brake fluid. I got a discount on the brake fluid which was great. They recommended 2 tires and I asked which one is better. He said they are very similar but this one is a little better on wear and tear. It was a different brand and I appreciated his honesty. They are very friendly there and the service is very good. The prices are good too. If you need new tires or brakes, I highly recommend them.

Its close to me. They are fast and efficient, very nice but too expensive. My mechanic is in Port Richie. I didnt go there because I broke down and this worked for me today. I've bought tires and had oil changes and they have always been excellent!

I brought my old Skylark in on a Sunday with a rattle in the left rear drum and a master cylinder leak. I was expecting to have to wait days for parts to come in. My car was fixed within hours and with honest pricing. John and his crew are very professional! I highly recommend Mavis- Thank you for the outstanding service!

Called and spoke to John about helping me get my lawn mower tires mounted and he and the team got them done same day for me! Tim was also super great to deal with and I highly recommend seeing these guys! They really do everything they can for you!!

Friendly service. They got me squared away as promised with a patched tire (a construction screw had pierced my tire) for a reasonable price. I'll return when the time comes for another maintenance, repair or set of fresh tires comes due. Recommended. Thanks again guys.

John at this location is amazing got me in same day for a nail in my tire. Got everything fixed in under an hour and saw me two hours sooner than my scheduled time. Saved me from missing an important exam.

Had a great experience from @ Mavis Hercules. Ended up with a construction screw while at the dealership who was doing renovations to their showroom. Unfortunately, the dealership could care less that I got the screw from them; however, the folks at Mavis were courteous and even though the tire couldn't be plugged, they went over my options, and I ordered tires and mailed it to their shop. They did a great job on my car and I couldn't have wanted or asked for more. Great job to both Greg and John!

Great experience. Tim was extremely helpful and even updated me again when the tires came in the day before my appointment. Staff complimented me on my Jeep which also made my day!

Mavis helped me out tremendously !I was in an urgent need for a tire due to a tread separation on my way home from work.I called the shop at 6pm, they were open and had several tires in stock.Mark gave me some tire options, his prices were good, he was honest and didn t try to sell me something I didn t need and I appreciated that very much.Great customer service from Mark and technician Chris !Honest and friendly people. These guys bailed me out of a very bad situation with recently bought used tires. I was trying to control the horrific shaking of the front end of my car when I saw Mavis Tires on Hercules.We were so glad that we stopped in there.They diagnosed the problem after driving my car and were able to take care of it right away. Used tires might seem like an affordable option but DON'T DO IT! The guys at Mavis sold us new tires& an alignment that we could actually afford and now the car drives as smooth as butter. lol. You guys have a new customer for life. Thankyou

Thrilled with excellent service by this location! My dealer would not repair a flat tire but instead tried to sell me a $300 replacement tire. This place did a great job repairing the tire at a fraction of that cost and gained a loyal customer in the process. Thank you Mavis!

Excellent costumer service ! Had my all four tire replaced , and an alignment done for my run flat Mini Cooper . Good prices and quality work.If buying tires with them, they give warranty, and can patch a hole in case of something, at no charge
