This has got to be the best experience I ve had with a mechanic shop.My AC stopped working and I took it to Goodyear and they wanted to charge me $120 an hour for diagnostic.Clearwater Radiator and Air did the diagnosis free of charge and told me that it was not an AC problem.The owner is super down to earth and a good man, I will definitely take my car for any AC work and I m recommending this shop to all my friends.I typically do not write raving reviews like this and I was super impressed with Clearwater Radiator and air.

Mike is awesome. I brought my truck in for an air conditioning problem. He called me an hour later and said come pick it up. Turned out, I just blown a fuse under the hood. He replaced it and would not accept payment. I ll be back. It s wonderful working with honest people.Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

Decent people who will get you back on the road for a good price. They will go above and beyond to make certain you leave satisfied.I had a compressor replaced in my car here, and the price(labor/parts) was just $100 more than a dealer would charge for just the compressor.They will also take care of you after service.... If you have any issues they will get you squared away in a more than fair manner. I would recommend this place to anyone needing A/C or radiator work.

My father, brother, and I go to Mike here whenever we have an actual problem we need fixed. We've been going here for over 15 years. Always honest, always quality. Took my friend's car to get ac fixed. She had quotes from three different repairs shops the dash would have to come off, might get it by removing glove box but doubt it andClearwater Radiator & Air fixed in a reasonable time at a very fair price.Thanks Carol,Mike and the rest of the gang you all are the best.

This was my first time at this shop, I moved to Safety Harbor a few years ago and had been traveling a distance to my former mechanic and knew I had to find someone closer. I had an issue with my a/c, I read all the positive reviews and decided to try them out. The reviews are correct, Mike is very knowledgeable and honest, Carol keeps you posted what is going on, price, etc. She is a pleasure to deal with. Looks like I found my local mechanic.Karen R.

A very honest and decent shop. Everytime that I've come here he has been honest with me. The costs were also very reasonable compared to other shops that I've heard of. He's worked on my Matrix a couple times and will continue to because this is the only place that I will use.

These people are amazing. I had quotes for an evaporator being put into my 2006 Dodge Ram up to $1500. Clearwater Radiator & Air told me $800 so I ended up doing some research and decided to let them do the work. I will be back/refer people to them. It was done before expected and my AC is back working great again. Honest, timely, and awesome pricing.

Great experience. Took my car in for my air conditioner, which was not cooling. On short notice, they looked at my car and did a Freon recharge. Because it did not charge like it should have, they did not charge me and had me book an appointment to have it fixed. Ended up needing a new condenser, which they did at a VERY reasonable price. Could not be happier with the service given. Highly recommend.Service: Air conditioning

These people have to be the most honest repair shop I have ever seen. Had them work on my truck and both my sons cars. Always very fair with pricing. Got the job done in a timely manor. Thank you Clearwater Radiator

Mike is honest and extremely competent technician. I have taken my aging car to him two times and have left both times satisfied. The bottom line is he charges a fair price for great work.

I have been a customer of Clearwater Radiator for over 6 years now. No matter what issues I've thrown at them they have always come through, and at a much more reasonable price than elsewhere. Mike is always honest, reliable and quick with repairs. I recommend this shop to all my friends and will continue being a customer for years to come.

I am so ABSOLUTELY impressed with Mike and Carol. I found this place on google with some bad luck of a couple different places prior to Clearwater radiator and air. I read their reviews and figured what the heck they did not have one bad review EVERYONE WAS FIVE STARS. I am so so glad I went with my gut instinct, because every last review I read were 100% true about this shop. I took my 2008 honda civic in there because about a week ago my a/c stopped blowing cold. But I took my car to Cold ac air repair in tampa the first day it stopped working the guy told me it was my compressor it was blown broken that I needed a new one he could put it in today and do everything for 1200. Wow what a lie MIKE had my car a whole 10 minutes. I had blown my mg clutch relay. He charged me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. If you want honesty, loyalty ,professionalism, and punctuality this is the place to go. I would give them 20 stars if I could. Shout out to Mike and Carol for being awesome.

I have been taking my cars there for years. Mike and the gang are awesome. Mike is a trusted advisor and very qualified. He is Mr. Goodwrench. Do yourself a favor and check out Clearwater Radiator for general auto repairs and air conditioning.

I've only been there a couple of times (to the Clearwater location), but the place was highly recommended, and they have been so honest and straightforward and competent, it is just a rarity to find an outfit like this that you can have so much trust in.I suggested to Mike that he add more mechanics and charge more, but he said that he couldn't oversee things as well, so that's why he hasn't done this. I was there this morning (4/30/13) thinking that with the snowbirds gone, he might not be as busy. But he was overwhelmed - couldn't look at my car until day after tomorrow.

Have been absolutely fantastic to work with thus farEdit:Same part replaced out is broken again about a month later and car has started leaking coolant again. When going in for an oil change they immediately spotted an oil leak and complained bolts were missing.Took it to a different shop to fix the oil leak that found even more bolts missing.Not happy

Excellent customer service. Mike has done only the work needed and didn't try to sell me anything extra. Fair and honest. I live about 45 minutes, but I don't mind at all.
