I brought in my jeep Wrangler for a clutch replacement. First clutch kit was defective. Charlie took it Back and replaced it with a new kit within a couple of days. I appreciate the fast service and honesty and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Charlie s is rare: An honest broker quoting what needs to be done and doing the work well and timely. I always take my vehicles to their shop, it is centrally located in town and the people are friendly. The text quote and text communication was easy as well. Thank you for turning my auto nightmare into a story that makes me brag of you!

I have to say this is one of the best experiences I've had with an auto repair shop in a very long time. I previously brought my car to another auto repair shop where they incorrectly diagnosed the problem and replaced my ABS. After reading reviews about that place I decided to look for a place with a higher rating. After reading the reviews for Charlie's I knew I had to try them. I brought my car in and they were quite busy. This to me is a good sign, busy place means good service. They let me know it may take a day or two which I didn't mind. When they did get to the car they quickly and correctly Identified the problem and fixed it for a very reasonable price. The staff were all professional, organized and communicated very well. I highly recommend this business and will definitely be back if I have any further issues. Not too soon though I hope. Thanks Charlie and the entire team. P.S. they also referred me to a car paint shop Havacar Autobody which also turned out to be a great experience. My car is now freshly painted and running great.

Friendly local business that is professional and has saved me money from preventing unnecessary repairs and focusing on what is and might be the problem. Honest advice and excellent service to get the job done in a timely manner. Highly recommend to become your regular mechanic to maintain your vehicle.

Highly recommend. Charlie s has been working on both of our cars for the last 4 years and have never had an issue. Oil changes to rotations, radiator leak once, misc things that always pop up on cars.

Had a flat tire, pulled in and hoped for the best.I have now found my local mechanic! Imediately got me on the road, plugged my tire (which had tread but a screw) rather than trying to sell me a set.Family-owned place -- just what the auto doctor ordered!

I ve taken 2 vehicles here for various issues in my time using them. One is a work van and the other was my daily use vehicle. They always get my problems fixed on the first visit! Prices are fair and communication is great. They clearly are reputable and well known in the area as I came in with a weird part I needed fixed and they were able to recommend me to a small shop in town that was able to fix the issue. Super thankful to have finally found a mechanic I can trust!

If I could give ten stars!!! I recommend Charlie's Car Care 100%. I've used Charlie's Car Care for my previous car services until I bought a brand new car. But then I needed to get a tire service for my new car. I took it to a dealer where not only I had to wait 2,5 hours to tell me that the tire is not fixable and I needed to get a new tire. I asked to see the tire and then caught them lying. I had them to lower my car and took it to Charlie's Car Care instead. It took less than 15 minutes to get the tire patched.Charlie's Car Care is a family owned business for 22/23 years. I trusted them from the first time I needed a car service a few years ago. I don't live close anymore, yet I won't mind driving miles to get my car served by them, because they are HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, DEPENDABLE and also friendly!

Took my truck in for an oil change and a tire rotation, and told them my truck was making a loud squeaking noise that was not coming from the breaks. When I came to pick it up, i was told that they did not hear any squeaking at all coming from the truck. The lady at the desk became extremely agitated/rude when my girlfriend and i explained that it is a high pitch noise, and my girlfriend described it as ear piercing. I personally rode with Charlie in the truck, and the noise was extremely obvious, and he basically laughed off the ear piercing comment, which was made in reference to the high pitch tone of the noise. After getting back to the shop, Charlie said I could leave my truck there so he could look into it further. This was after my truck was at their shop for 7 hours. This is my second negative experience of this type here, and it is apparent that they have no regard for their customer s concern or time. Will not be returning and would recommend others to avoid.

Charlie s Car Care is most definitely the best place I have ever taken any car to period!I had random problems and breakdowns and since I started going there they have come through for me in stellar fashion every time.Friendly, courteous and very fast taking only a day or two for my repairsThey let me know about any problems they may see ahead of time making it even more convenient to plan for anything with crazy schedule.10 out 10 for great quality service!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Extremely disrespectful. Second time we have brought a vehicle there and they claim nothing is wrong and the problem will just have to get worse . Then when I explained what the issue was and the noises of the car they proceeded to mock me. Extremely rude and disrespectful towards your own customers.

My friend recommended them to me, and Charlie's did not disappoint. They are extremely kind and professional, and even though they're very busy, Charlie took the time to calmly explain my car's issues and repair options very clearly. I appreciate how they handled my vehicle and my vehicle-related anxiety! My car feels so much better after their transmission repair, I highly recommend Charlie's.

Excellent service. Took my 04 Tacoma Prerunner to them and had a quick turn around. Very knowledgable and always spoke directly to the owner, who also gets hands on with the vehicles that come in. I have used Charlie s ever since I moved to Clearwater. I find this shop to be very professional and cost conscious. Has never steered me wrong. I even bring my new cars on for normal services vs the dealer. My last service was for a engine light diagnostic, Charlie was able to pin point the problem and repair as needed. Trust is a trait that is hard to establish, I fully trust Charlie and his team for the service and maintenance of my Vechicles.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto brake replacement

I rarely leave reviews, because I often find customer service and attention to detail is lacking. This was not the case with Charlie's Car care. My install and engine tune was awesome!! Charlie obviously cares about the details and making sure the job is done right. They were knowledgeable about the product and kept me informed through the process of the install. Cooper s was quick to fix the Charlie s mistakes! Take your Napa desires to Cooper s on Hercules. Charlie s is NOT the place for a personal experience. They re strictly business and had 0 desire sending one of their customers off in fixed vehicle. Charlie didn t receive power to the camshaft sensor after replacement yet still charged $400 and the camshaft sensor is still coding!!His reason : the wire connecting the two is bad Yet since I, the non licensed, never been under the hood of a car, with 0 knowledge of any wire problems customer didn t suggest him to fix the wire . Well he didn t.Not once did he reach out to suggest his He s got to be told what to fix or he will NOT fix it. Personally, every other auto shop experience has been the exact opposite of thatThank you Coopers!!!Service: Engine repair
