Looking and looking and I finally found an honest mechanic. David has done wonders on my truck, my mother's car, and my father's truck. Schedule an appointment, take car in, and he has always notified me of the cost before moving forward. Tells me when it's ready, and has explained, and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this shop, and will continue to keep coming back. 5 stars easy!!

I was in need of a mechanic to get my car fixed before I left town for work. From the time I spoke to Dave he was very helpful in making sure my car was fixed before I left. He ordered the part I needed for my car the same day I initially spoke to him and he constantly communicated to me about when the part would come in and when he could start the repairs. I am so thankful I was referred to him by my friend s father because Dave did a wonderful job with my car! I would highly reccomend coming to Bruce European Motors to get your car fixed because the customer service is the best I ve experienced at any mechanic shop I ve ever been to!

After doing lots of research, my husband decided to bring our BMW F31 Wagon to Bruce European Motors to have a coolant leak checked out. Owner David was very helpful, diagnosed the problem and had the wagon fixed and running within 48hrs... 100% will recommend!!

I brought my 2006 mini Cooper S with an alternator problem Thursday afternoon after work. The car was diagnosed, parts ordered and replaced and returned to me within 24 hours. Communication with the shop was excellent. Mr. Bruce followed up with me the next week to make sure the car was running fine. Needle in a haystack!!!Words can t fully describe the satisfaction I have with Bruce European motors .I took my car in assuming the issue myself. I dropped my car off and got a call later, Dave informed me the real issue and that diagnosis saved me a TON of headache and money. Dave told me they had to overnight the part from the manufacturer. My vehicle was done within hours of the part arriving! Seemed instant. Dave and his team are master mechanics and KNOW what they are doing. This guy can work on these cars blindfolded!HIGHLY recommend these guys to work on your car. I ve never had a better experience getting my car worked on all around. Extremely happy I took my Audi here, David was able to trace the leak and repair my Audi AC for a fraction of the cost of another shop s estimate. I had taken my Audi Q7 to 2 different shops to fix the Air Cond a total of 4 times and spent over $2000, and each time after a few months it would blow warm air again. The next estimate was to replace the evaporator core under the dash (20+ hours of labor) for over $3000. A friend recommended Bruce European, I heard he was good but was not near my house.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

I want to acknowledge the professional and very fast work of this service! I needed to go urgently, but my car would not start. I called several services and was told that to just make a diagnostic i would have to wait 3-4 days, which was unacceptable for me. And to my luck, I found these guys - Bruce European Motors. Half an hour after I brought the car in, it was already working!!! The guys quickly found the problem and fixed everything. Very professional, honest, fast, these guys are very reliable and responsible! And I absolutely recommend this service! 5 stars !

Bayside is a pleasure to deal with. David is not only a master mechanic, but an honest and dedicated professional (and a perfectionist!). First time I called Bayside with a problem, David actually came to my house on a weekend to get me out of a fix, because I couldn't move my car. He definitely earned my repeat business!David just installed a new turbo and other performance modifications on my 2011 MINI. He went out of his way to make sure the job was done right, even doing some tricky fabrication work to make everything fit and worked - when he was done it looked like a factory install. I'm beyond happy with the results!It's really hard to find a mechanic you can really trust with special cars. This is the place!

Professional shop that offers high quality service at Fair Prices. I have taken my vehicle here on many occasions and the problem was identified and resolved usually within 24hrs. I used to take my truck to Mercedes for everything. However, I get the same quality work at a more reasonable price here.

My AC was not working for months. I had two other mechanics try to diagnose and estimate the fix at $1500 to $2k. I found a great recommendation about David on the NextDoor app. He s honest, kind and knows BMWs and he fixed my AC without over charging me. I m happy to say I found my go to mechanic. Highly recommend for European cars. Thanks David you rock.

I read a less than positive review from 4 months prior to this review which is roughly the time I had my car in service for an extensive rebuild of a complicated M3. I had a great experience and David was outstanding. My car runs better than it has in 2 years. Sounds amazing and runs strong.Per the prior comment from 4 months ago, parts were the reason why my car was delayed and David and team communicated thoroughly through the entire process. When I contacted other shops, they had quoted with delays up to 3x-4x as long.2011 E9X M3 - I would trust and recommend David to anyone that asks. This is a complicated engine and he has rebuilt several.Taking my car back for more maintenance. Was looking for the address and noticed a negative review and was surprised. If anything, I've been a pain to them and they've been understanding the entire way. Hence, I wrote this review to help anyone considering Bruce European Motors and David / Team. Please give them a call or text.

Bruce European Motors was great and I ve decided they re my new mechanics. I had an issue after getting my oil changed and I got 3 quotes to fix the problem. They beat the best price by 30%.They also answer the phone promptly and will communicate via text if that is preferred.Definitely recommend.

After 7 months of no AC, I finally have ice cold air blowing through my Mini Cooper again! It needed a new compressor, but I was waiting for the weather to get hot again before making the investment. I was referred to Bruce European Motors in a Facebook group. Best referral ever! From the first time I reached out to David Bruce there was great communication, from start to finish. I received a very reasonable quote,and scheduling an appointment was easy. There was an initial problem with the new part (not his fault), but David went above and beyond to make it right. I'm extremely satisfied with the service I received and definitely plan to make Bruce European Motors my go-to for future service needs.Service: Air conditioning

Had my vehicle for months, pushed out the finish date repeatedly. Final product was poor workmanship, missing functionality and parts paid for. The communication is virtually non-existent when needed from the mechanic. The office manager is rude and seems to be in poor communication with the mechanic as they don't share reality with the job. Immediately after giving them 1 month to "fix" their workmanship I had to drive my truck over to another mechanic. (Where labor was actually 40 per hour less. Who physically confirmed that the parts installed were leaking, installed improperly and likely will cause problems. The linkage needed for the transfer case I had installed for a diff lock was completely missing as if it was never there and due to the workmanship, I might want to consider doing the transmission and transfer cases over again to ensure they were installed properly.I of course agreed that was a risk I should take holding out that it was completed properly and Bruce auto weren't completely hosing me. Because it did drive.Less than 400 miles later My under warranty transmission is full of metal and left us stuck in our Ian evacuation zone.This story could go on for pages. As the amount and extent of bad experiences and nasty treatment I received is extensive. I hope this serves as enough warning.They say you can get the job good, fast or cheap. Pick 2.They say pick 2. Good work, fast work or cheap work.Here you can pick ZERO! Their work is BAD, SLOW AND EXPENSIVE!the work is far from good I would say that $5k for 500 miles is terrible. The rate is higher than a cleaner more organized and professional shop on the same street that specializes in European vehicles, the time is measured in months, not days as anyone would hope a mechanic would operate.

Bruce is amazing! He replaced my brakes and performed routine service on my car using authentic Mercedes parts. His prices are much better than the dealership and he gets you in and out quickly! On the plus side, David is a good and knowledgeable mechanic. They have done work on several of my cars and usually did not have an issue other than the communication being a bit slow at times. However, I had an issue with a transmission they had sent out to get rebuilt, which turned into a nightmare.They essentially put the total responsibility and blame on the transmission builder who apparently did not do the job he was paid to do - even though I was their customer and paid them directly.They also blamed me as the customer, for driving the vehicle and then for taking it into a shop when I broke down in the middle of nowhere, only to find out the transmission job I paid for wasn t done.They also made accusations against the new transmission shop where my truck ended up, calling them dishonest. This was a shop they directed me to go to. Basically in their eyes, everyone else was at fault except themselves.I waited for weeks as they told me to relax and that they were taking care of it. I believe that David and Chrissy wanted to do something to fix it, but nothing ever manifested.After five weeks of waiting, I ended up contacting and getting a replacement transmission through the original builder directly, and paying out of pocket for the R&R and other shop costs, just to get back to square zero.I would not recommend Bruce European Motors at this point.

David is a great one man show. For a man who seems to be always rocking solo he's able to take care of everything well and at a good price. We've had some issues with getting parts that fit but that's more my fault and the distributor than it is his. All and all I'm happy to be on the road again after a rough week. My BMW X3 came off warranty a year ago and a Chassis Stabilization Malfunction warning light started popping up which can mean a whole bunch of things. David was able to easily diagnose the issue and repair. The cost was reasonable and he even detailed my car inside and out so it looked like new when I picked it up. My old BMW dealership never even cleaned my car after service because their car wash was always broken so I really appreciated that extra effort to make sure I had a good experience. Unfortunately, I do not recommend coming here. I bought a used vehicle and immediately took it here to get inspected to ensure nothing major was wrong. I asked for a full complete inspection and he stated the vehicle was in great condition. Two months later I found out there is thousands of work that need to be done and these were items that were there when I had it inspected. I lost thousands on this car and extremely upset because I would have never kept the car if I knew all the issues.Service: Vehicle Inspection

David is amazing at what he does! I brought my car in with a dent and deep scratch. He not only handled it in a very expedited fashion but it was really flawless work.I had brought it to another 2 places before I brought it to him who either said there wasn t anything they could do for me or that it would be very pricey and time consuming.David got it done fast in the time I needed it, did an excellent job at a very fair price.I highly recommend him.

David found out what was wrong with my car when my "trusted" mechanic did know what the hell was the issue. He was very thorough and found the issue to be my water pump. Reasonable prices. Great expertise. Great work.

I was very impressed with my recent first visit to this shop. David is very knowledgeable and worked fast and extremely efficiently. It was also very transparent: I knew exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost, ahead of time; also, David took time to explain each area of the car that he was going to be working on. I'd definitely recommend them!

Took our 2009 bmw 335i here. We needed to get the oil pan gasket replaced. Chrissy and David gave us the best price compared to other local shops. I was weary about not going to a bmw dealership, however when we arrived we were greeted by David and he gave us some background on his history with Bmws which made us a lot more comfortable. We experienced an issue with there being bolts broken inside. David took his time to ensure there would be no damage to the engine. So it took a little longer than anticipated but he still got the car back to us same day while every other shop said it would take two days! David and Chrissy were very honest and transparent. Will be returning for our other service needs and 100% recommend.

Bruce took care of me and my Porsche very quickly and cost effectively. In and out in under an hour and didn t break the bank like most other sports car maintenance shops can do. I m definitely coming back here for all my car maintenance needs!
