This company lies. We had a 2009 Mazda 3 towed here. The mechanic who said he ran the diagnostics said the repairs would be 11,000 dollars more than the value of the car. We decided to scrap the car, when the tow company arrived he checked the car helped add coolant and got the car running free of charge. When we called triple A for the diagnostics paperwork today the manager said they never ran the diagnostics. This is very unprofessional from Triple A and shows their mechanics are not qualified to work on cars. The tow man even said they mainly only know how to do oil changes and tire repairs. Probably just guys they hired off the street who work out of their garage. It s sad we almost lost a car because this company at Clearwater has no idea what they are doing and management who can t run a business. I am looking into contacting their corporate office as well. This is just pathetic I ve had better service and talent at McDonald s.

I recently had my cars radiator replaced and rear brakes and rotors done. Andrew was a pleasure to deal with. I was very pleased! I'm skeptical of car repair honesty. But I really feel this place was fair and honest. They were courteous. The work was done fast. They even threw in a few small repairs. I think their pricing was fair. After Kia told my husband that my car had hydraulic failure & it was dangerous to continue driving it , they wanted $3.500 to fix it, we kept the car on our driveway for while until we figured out what we're going to do.My husband decided to have the car towed to AAA for 2nd opinion.AAA found nothing wrong with the car, they suggested to have the brakes taking care in the future, but AAA said the brakes still have half life left in them and there is no problem driving the car now.I really appreciate AAA.

Ever since I ve gone there I ve had nothing but issues with my car. I got my car back from an oil change with a non working AC. I had to bring it back and pay for the repair. They didn t check why and just changed compressor. Just so happened that something was malfunctioning higher in the chain so the problem happened again 6 months later.More recently, the car had an issue in December which required them to fix it. 1 month later and they did maintenance on multiple part this week after another check engine light.Well here I am at 8am stranded on the highway after multiple lights came on and the engine losing power with a weird smell of gasoline.Edit: went to another mechanic and they informed me that the cause of my break down was the exact thing they had fixed than 2 days before.Seriously makes me wonder if they mess stuff up on purpose for you to come back

Where do I start? Called them ( spoke to Doug) and got a price for battery on my car. Actually gave him exactly what I needed. Decent priceShowed up that afternoon. Gave me same price but other advisor next to him ( Jason) said that Doug was wrong on installation price. Even though Doug asked me if battery was in trunk/under rear seat or in the engine. It s in engine. But still Jason said there wasn t a $1 charge as Doug told me but a $150 charge cause they had to REGISTER battery with the car. Ok. What to do? I had them do it.Then car is promptly in shop, and 20 minutes later, they come out to tell me the exact battery I need cost an extra $60 bucks.WOW. ( I showed Jason the picture and model of battery I had showed Doug. Yes I had correct batter, but Doug wrote down wrong one.Again what to do? Car is in shop.Ok from original price on phone of $220 plus a shop fee to $461 later. Unreal. I told Jason I was very disappointed. He took my copy and showed his boss. All I got was SORRYTHEN I get home and looked at job they did. THE VAPOR HOSE that gets plugged into battery was NOT connected. SHOULD I BE NOW EVEN MORE UPSET? I am totally disgusted and disappointed. I tried calling Jason but he s off.

Awesome. Had an appointment scheduled and left the car early. Andrew and Jason went beyond my expectations having it done quickly and did extra stuff that Andrew noticed on his own. Thanks guys, I'll be back.

Regrets. Not for me. The service staff veers from disinterested to dismissive and rude. Read reviews for car service and specifically oil change. Do not go here as a woman.This is the only time that I ve taken my Prius anywhere but Toyota, but I thought how bad can it be? Bad. They ripped apart part of my hood interior and made the situation with my wipers WORSE than it was before.Here is the scam. They lure you in with a low cost oil change and then refuse to rotate tires (due to too much wear, never had this happen) and then tell you that you need thousands in work. Plus two new filters at outrageous prices. Got out for double what I expected and will never go back. Dudes like this are the worst. This car was at Toyota 3 months ago, had a thorough check and just needed a simple synthetic oil change.I will only go to Toyota in future. Wish I could turn back time. Live and learn.

Stay away from Doug the service advisor. Very arrogant and ignorant. Need a time when your car is ready? "Don't know". 35 to diagnose a fan speed knob? "No, I said 150". At least his boss is much more professional, hence 3 stars.

My experience at this shop was impressive. Andrew, the manager squeezed me in on a holiday weekend before the shop closed for New Year s Eve. He was informative, polite, and made me feel at ease. The shop is clean and there is a window from the waiting room so you can see your car. My car was ready much quicker than I expected and I left with an appointment for future maintenance. I had a good experience here. Had AAA service come to my home to check my battery out. They couldn't determine if it was the battery so they suggested I go to the service center. He jumped me and I went to the center. They gave me a full charge which took a bit of time, but it was only after that that they could determine whether or not the battery was good. They determined it was not and gave me a brand new one no charge. Of course it was under warranty which is why there was no charge (I purchased the original at full price). But still, a good experience overall.

My mother went is for service, she was very nervous about getting overcharged. The serviceman very professional and courteous. After checking the cause of the check engine light, they fixed it at a very fair price as well as taking care of other concerns she had. I needed maintenance service work for my truck and I got three estimates. AAA was the best. They rotated my tires, rear end differential service as well as an oil change. The price was extremely competitive and the best overall service experience as of late. Andrew, Don, and mechanics did an excellent job changing breaks and rotors on my Lexus. Andrew took care of use at his previous shop and when he left, I didn't know where he went. You have our business now that I've located you.

they do a good job but they take a little too long to do a oil change. when they send out coupons you can get a really good deal which is nice. you have to schedule a week out to get in which seems like they would be more efficient so they could do more oil changes. don't like waiting an hour and a half

Large 8 bay shop that can do everything except big repairs. Nice waiting room inside the AAA insurance office in the front. Friendly tech staff to interact with. They update you by text with pictures of everything they found which is helpful.

Was charged $64 for a $59 oil change, tires were rotated and pictures were sent, but tires were not measured and air pressure was not touched. All four tires were below spec upon arrival and measured the same leaving. The worst part of the experience was being shown a very dirty air filter while waiting and them offering to replace it for $35. I declined and bought a $19 Purolator filter myself a week later. The filter that I pulled out of my car was QUITE CLEAN. I almost left it in the car and saved the new filter for later. They were showing me someone else's used air filter. NEVER GOING BACK THERE.Services: Tires, Oil change

This was my first visit to AAA care plus. The employees were professional, knowledgeable and super nice with a great sense of humor. They did an excellent job. The place is spotless. They have reasonable prices. They explain everything in detail and take pictures to show you exactly what needs to be done. I have another appointment scheduled for rear disc brakes. This will be my go to place from now on.

I called to inquire if they could replace a brake bulb, & was told to bring the car in. I was there within 30 minutes, less than 10 minutes after they had my keys,, the bulb was replaced & I was on my way home. Excellent service, friendly staff, well mannered. Gotta name drop Doug, the WORST and LAZIEST man I've ever met, will literally come up with whatever excuse not to help you. Came in because AAA came out and replaced my battery with the wrong size. This guy was sitting at the front desk on his phone with me standing in front of him watching him ignore me so he could be on FACEBOOK FOR 3 WHOLE MINUTES, then he tries to argue with me about needing a receipt, finally take my car back and tells me he's not replacing the battery because there's nothing wrong with it. That was a lie , aaa service manager came out 2 weeks later after the thing died again and replaced it with the correct size. Shortly after my alternator died and aaa AGAIN told me to come here thinking it was still the battery. To be fair it was the alternator but DOUG was at the counter again, and immediately asked for a receipt like it doesn't say aaa on the battery. I ended up needing to get the manager Joey to do dougs job. Seriously you need to fire that man, ill never be back lm not renewing my aaa membership either, telling everyone i know about doug and my experiences there.Service: Auto battery replacement

Had vehicle in for oil change and tire rotation AAA completed the oil change and tire rotation paid my bill went outside noticed they did not rotate the tires went back in and ask them why they stated the tires were too old to rotate that they re older than four years even though there s no dry rot, there s like 15,000 miles on them.Have no issue with that being their policy but they should ve told me upfront or before they did the oil change, they even sent me an inspection stating everything was checked an good. They never stated they would not rotate my tires, had to figure it out myself and question it to know at all, feel this is very unprofessional special for AAA, will not be returning and warning family and friends, very deceptive.

Glad new AAA store was open weekends other was not. The front desk hostess could have been nicer but we got what we needed and left. The first person that greets you is your first impression. Our experience in the bldg was fine and prompt.

Car repair svc. Not helpful. They had my car for 1.5 days, they told me my car was shooting too many codes. I took it the auto part store next door. They found one code, they sold me the part & I fixed it myself.

I was traveling from Clearwater Island on February 23rd on my way to the Florida Aquarium in Tampa and then onto Orlando. I had always heard that AAA was a helpful and courteous choice for travelers. I am not a member and stopped into the office in need of direction and asked for a map of Florida. I was told that for a 70 dollar sign up fee they would give me a map. I was shocked that they put such a price on their reputation and credibility for an antiquated map that cost maybe 3 dollars, which I would have gratefully paid. I would never ever consider becoming a member and would advise anyone not to either. Shame on you AAA.
