A&F Auto are amazing! They fixed a shifter cable and muffler for a fraction of the cost of another shop. The other shop (Aamco) was charging 1700 and kept my car for almost 10 day without working on it. A&F Auto fixed it in a couple days for under 450. They have great communication, very knowledgeable and they really try to work with you on price. I recommended them to my neighbor too. It is so refreshing to find good, honest mechanics in the world.Service: General repairs & maintenance

50 stars!!!!! Thank you. Clearwater Toyota repaired my car on May 5th 2018. After 2 additional trips to Clearwater Toyota my valve gasket cover was still leaking along with my cylinder head plug. My spark plugs were ready for replacement. A & F Auto shop cleaned up the negligence of Clearwater Toyota. They replaced a worn out vacuum hose, and worn cylinders. My Camry is 20 years old. While Clearwater Toyota had the valve cover open, why not check the spark plugs and update a few things?Ok I am still angry at them.. but A & F made it all better. Clearwater Toyota failed me. This shop is like a little superhero. I loved the rustic waiting room with the little fish tank and they have a shop cat named Lugnut who is really cool. Thank you Kenneth and all the superhero mechanics at this shop. Maybe I can save up my new car now. I wont be buying it from Clearwater Toyota

A & F Auto Repair deserves a million stars! I went there to have a new headlight assembly installed in my vehicle. Paul did an excellent job with squeezing me in to his busy schedule and gave me a very affordable price when the dealership tried to charge me twice as much for the same service! Ed did an excellent job installing it as well and they even helped me replace my fog light. I am so thankful for both of you for your hard work, determination, convenience, and affordability! I will be coming back for future services! Thank you Paul and Ed! You guys rock!

Just saved over 200 dollars on new tires with them. My aunt was about to buy me tires for over 500, I was like hold up let me call my mechanic. Sure enough A & F auto saves the day/wallet again! This single mom wouldnt know what to do without these guys.I've been going here for years! They have always been much more affordable then other shops. My friends and family have also started using them too. Great guys, great work, great price. I highly recommend!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

500 stars! Paul at A&F Auto Repair is phenomenal. After NAPA RightWay Auto Repair completely botched my engine, Paul saved my car and my hard earned cash. Being new to the area, I took my car to Rightway for an oil leak. They charged me for a water pump (that I didn't need-no overheating or leakage), new belts, a motor mount, etc for $1,600 and I still had an oil leak! The day after, my power steering was squealing and hard to turn the wheel when the engine was cold. Rightway inspected and quoted another $1,400 to replace the power steering pump and the tie rods. I took it to Paul and he said the belts were out of alignment from their repair, it wasn't synchronized correctly and they used the wrong bolts on the water pump housing that was causing the NEW belt to cut into it. He removed their faulty repair and reinstalled my parts and only charged me for the labor. I did NOT need a power steering pump, after all. I love my 17 year old car and now it glides down the highway like it's brand new. Needless to say, I got a refund for Paul's hard work from Rightway. A&F has earned my business for a lifetime. My family and I had been down on our luck and our car was not running I called several places and only Paul sounded genuine I tookthe car in and they had my entire thing fixed in less than two whole days. Good people is the highest compliment I can give A & F. They swapped out the tires on my car and also did an oil change. They matched the price I found on tire rack for some really good 60k mile tires and were about 1/2 the price of the dealership on both counts. I probably saved $200-$300 by coming here over the deanship. Highly recommended and they will be my shop as long as I live in St. Pete!Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Honest, efficient and very fair prices. I had my alternator start to go bad. I called in the morning as I work nearby. They quoted me a great price and I dropped it off before work. They then made sure to call to ok the work after diagnosing the problem. 2 hours later the job was done and they dropped the price a little due to it not taking as long as originally thought. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They are a little farther from my home than my local mechanic but they have earned my business from now on. Thank you and believe the reviews. This is a fantastic shop.

On recommendation from a friend I got a quote from here to replace an engine in my daughters 08 Ford Escape. The gave a good price and the work was completed when they said it would be. 10 months later the thing still runs good. I brought in my truck leaking power steering fluid. They replaced the line and It hasn t leaked since. Just picked up my car after they replaced the water pump and everything is working great. Robert and his wife and crew are great to work with. Their prices are fair and they simply do a great job. Ten stars if I could. Thanks Robert!

So I heard what sounded like my brake squealing, naturally I called the dealer and took it there as they just serviced my car recently (They told me all good two weeks ago.) I go back and now they say I have 1 month if that to get the front brakes replaced before the front pads are metal on metal. I naturally get worried and look around for a 2nd opinion. I called A&F and was told the repair if any would take 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours to do. I went in, dropped off my car, and got a call a bit later. I WAS TOLD NO BRAKE JOB WAS NEEDED! MY FRONT BRAKES WERE JUST FINE! The dealer also wanted to charge over $350! Here they quoted me no more than $100 if it was needed to be done. I have found a new place for all my car repairs.TL/DR, The dealer wanted to pull a fast one on me and get me to get new brakes when it was not needed at this time! A&F Auto Repair is honest and fair priced! I will not go back to the dealer for anything else! Thank you to those at A&F Auto Repair, I have found my new home to get anything car done and will be recommending family and friends here.

These guys are top notch mechanics!! Turnaround time is very reasonable and they are knowledgeable but very down to earth. They take the time to make recommendations based on their findings but are not pushy. Kenny even delivered my vehicle back to my work place for me when they finished. Easy to find on 49th last driveway before the Bayside bridge...I highly recommend them!! Now known as 360 Auto I think.

A and F are good people, period. These are old school mechanics that run circles around modern dealership techs. Theyre as honest as the day is long. This shop is very affordable and they can narrow down to the most exact root causes. They explain issues very well to the customer. Ill continue to give them my business because it's very hard to find a trustworthy mechanic.

I can always count on a&f to not only take care of our routine maintenance on our company vehicles. Whenever there's a breakdown they take care of it right away and the price is always less than I expect. That's why they get all my business on my personal vehicles too I tell my friends and family to go there quality repair at affordable prices

I have dealt with Rob and Carol at A&F Auto for 2 years now. It's very hard to find honest mechanics around this area, and I'm extremely satisfied with the work they've done on my cars. They are straight forward and will get you in and out quickly. I highly recommend if you're looking for someone in this area ,bring your car here, you won't be disappointed!

Had to take my car in for what I thought was just timing issue, and of course it became the laundry list. Long story short these guys did a fantastic job getting me back on the road and for a great price. They do get a little busy, but the time and pricing are completely worth it!

This is the place to go! Myself and my whole family were blown away by the service received here. Believe the reviews, this is a team of honest, hardworking individuals who truly care about their customers. They really went above and beyond and treated me like a friend. I just moved down from Boston, and didn t know anybody in the area yet. I looked up mechanics, and A & F was highly rated, so I gave them a shot. Came in this morning as soon as they opened, with believe it or not, all of my lights out. Not sure what happened, I thought it was a problem with a fuse or something, but they were able to order new lights, and install them in under 2hrs, which was very impressive. All of my lights are back up and running again! The guys were very polite and helpful, hopefully I won t have any more problems any time soon, but if I do, I ll be a returning customer.

I first took my Jeep to the dealer for a safety recall and to have it looked over for any maintenance issues. They said I had about $5000 worth of repairs(including an oil change which I had one two days before). I called up A&F Auto Repair and the owner answered. He was very nice and said I could bring it in to have it looked over for free. They found $1400 worth of repairs(including labor) and Ken took the time to show/explain what exactly was wrong with my Jeep. I really appreciate having a shop that I can trust.

Whenever I walk into an auto shop I tense up because I expect someone to try to rip me off. I was pleasantly surprised to have Rob sensibly talk me through the issues with my vehicle and even go to bat for me with the towing company. There were actually a couple of customers like myself just hanging out in the shop with Rob while their trucks were being worked on! I highly recommend A & F Auto Repair. I found them to be honest, fair, and friendly.

Don t go anywhere else!! Honest and hard working. Rob and his team are top notch. 6,000 mile road trip, not one issue! Brought in a used vehicle with what turned out to be a lengthy list of issues. They did everything from my tires and axles to my compressor and injectors. The best part of it all was Rob being honest and upfront. They even brought me in to show me what was left of my front end bearings, as well as other issues as the parts were being pulled off the truck. Bring them anything you drive without hesitation!

My son in law recommended these great mechanics. I got lost trying to find the place since I wasn't too familiar with the area. One of the gentleman came to where I was to lead me back to their shop. Have to admit I was a little leery but trusted on the recommendation of my son in law. I left satisfied with the work, kindness, and my bill. Going back real soon. Time for an oil change. Hopefully this time I won't get lost.

Fixed my 2006 Dodge Ram that had several major problems. Very quick work and extremely fair price. Awesome staff! Overall excellent experience. I strongly recommend this shop.

May 29, I got a Tundra2006 checked out by Toyota Auto Nation Pinellas Park to see if it was worth fixing and keeping. The bill to fix was around $5000. I found out about A and F Auto and thought before I give up I would see what they had to say. Kenneth and Rob the owner started and completed the conversation. I was impressed how easy going and knowledgeable they as well as other mechanics seemed to me. They took me under my truck and showed me there findings. Surprisingly, some things on AutoNation list didn't appear and some new things needed immediately did. Long story short this place is unique, honest, knowledgeable and fairly priced. I now have a vehicle I can proudly and safely drive for another 50,000 plus miles for less than half the price! I have bought vehicles from Toyota Pinellas Park since 1977 but service will be at A & F.

I drove to Florida for vacation and on my way to Clearwater Beach, my alternator went bad. I found this auto shop and it looked busy. However, they worked on my truck right away once I told them what was wrong. Everybody was so friendly. I highly recommend!

Best place ever. Honest guys, having fun and doing what they love. Took my car here after a referral and couldn't be happier. Had a problem and had to bring my car back, they fixed it with no charge and apologized for the inconvenience. Rob, Kenneth, and Troy are super nice and really care about their customers. I won't be taking my car anywhere else!!!

I desperately needed my honda to be fixed, so I came to A F auto repair shop because I saw the good reviews. And, the reviews were right about them; they are super friendly, honest, and fair people. I would recommend anyone to come to their shop for any problems. I believe anyone will leave with a smile and reliefs that everything will be taken good care of 8)

I wish I could leave more stars.. great mechanics!! Just had some work done on my truck and I have to see these guys are great, fair prices, honest and skilled mechanics, they will stand by their word... If you are looking for an honest shop that will provide good work, this is the place to go. I will be back for all repairs I need while I'm living here.. thanks again guys!!
