The owner and his son are very nice people. They are fair and do good work on vehicles and a fair scrap price. But last two times I went there to turn in scrap I got some other guy. The first time I had two very large very expensive batteries. Special ones. At the going scrap rate and for what they weighed I should have gotten no less than $25. I got $11 . Are u serious ? Then a week later I had to go turn in some high grade aluminum 53 lbs of it plus 3 lbs for motor and & 5.3 pounds of bright clean copper and a few lbs of breakage. Now with scrap prices very low and I understand that. . but I figured at $2.26 lb for copper plus . 30 for the aluminum and whatever the rest was I should if gotten no less than $40. But when I check out I got a whole $9 !!! Are u serious. ? That aluminum was from a technology company and was such a high grade even. The guy said he'd never saw anything like it. But $ 9 . I was so insulted that I couldn't get out of there quick enough. I couldn't even get a receipt. So if u go there know that the owner and son are fair people and will do right by you. ! But beware of the guy who does scrap. !

Had problem with my work truck and needed help. Stopped in and he went out of his way to get me back on the road. Much appreciated!!! Fair price too!

Had a leaky tire bead (flat). When they removed the tire they found that the guy that mounted the tire 10 minutes earlier at a shop up the road, shaved the tire bead with the tire machine and it was stuck between the tire and the rim causing it to leak. They took care if it quickly for the $7 I only had on me at the time. Next time I go past there I will stop in and throw them another $10 just for getting me back on the road to get home. Thanks guys.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. I had an appointment for pick up scheduled for a saturday between 1-3pm. No one called or showed up. I had to call after 3 to find out they were not coming. The man who answered when I called was very rude and interupted me everytime I tried to ask why they did not call to reschedule,telling me they cannot cater to everyone...they were the ones who scheduled the pick up time. Not calling the customer to say they will have to reschedule is bad business. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
