Needed aftermarket brakes put on, Firestone, Goodyear, and all the other big companies wouldn't do it. So I looked around on Google and found Nelson's. Glad I did, too.Came in on a Saturday morning just wondering if he'd be available sometime during the day or if I'd have to schedule an appointment.To my surprise, he IMMEDIATELY moved a car out and pulled mine in, and got to work. An hour later, I was outta there with brand new pads and rotors. Quick and professional with great pricing. Will definitely be back for more work in the future.

As a new member of Cape coral. I had to take my car to Honda of Ft. Myers. FL. Naturally their price was very high. I didn't know who to go to. I went to 3 auto parts stores and it was unanimous.Nelson auto repair. I told and showed him my repair estimates.He was professional in everyway.When he told me the cost. There is no aftermarket replacement part for this repair. When he told me the price I was ecstatic but also thinking how. He got the part the next day fixed it. He saved me half the price. He will be the only place my family and friends to go to when we have Automobile problems.I am a retired 28 year in serviceman wounded warrior 3 times over. I only get one check a month. I can't guarantee it will be the same for everyone. I would urge you to consider his shop as a first option after you think you're being charged to much.Thank youNelsonThe Miller family

Decided to give Nelson's Auto Repair a try as I have been very unhappy with my current mechanic. He got my car in the day after I called him (on a Friday) and got it back to me the following Monday. He found work that my past mechanic had done wrong and corrected everything. He was very easy to deal with, the price was fair and my car is up and running. I will definitely be using him again!

Found Nelson's last year and we take our cars there any time we need something. I've never felt taken advantage of, he always gets the car in right away, the costs are fair and make sense, and he's able to resolve the issues without fail each time. I'm glad I found a car repair place that I can trust. Thanks dude!

We take all 4 of our cars to Nelson's. They are amazing! Excellent pricing, great work, and great people!I used to hate taking my cars to other shops because I always felt taken advantage of. Nelson is straightforward and honest. We will continue to support this business and recommend them to friends and family.

Outstanding service, Nelson was a pleasure to deal with and the price was amazing! I was gobsmacked when he told me the price over the phone. It would have been double it I'd gone to Tires Plus or one of the other car joints. And I broke down near Nelson's garage, so I saved on towing! Super nice guy, will keep taking my older Sebring convertible to him from now on! I want to make mention to Nelson @ Nelson autobody shop and thank him for his help & integrity. Our family was in route to Cape Coral from Bonita Springs when our vehicle started malfunctioning and a flickering check engine light came on. Unfamiliar with the area we happen to stop at his shop. It was after business hours and he kindly checked our vehicle free of charge and gave us immediate focus & assistance. He did his assessment of our vehicle and told us exactly what was malfunctioning. We were able to get the car home safely & worked on. So with that said we thank him, & hope the best for his business & family.... Thank you Nelson!

Nelson took our car in on a Saturday morning and diagnosed it quickly, even though we didn't have a reservation. He had our vehicle repaired in under 3 hours. Price was very reasonable and workmanship was excellent. We will return for any future repairs

Diagnosed my check engine light which the nissan dealer had just told me they wanted $200 to do, then even checked my tire sensors. Total cost $0. So, even before having Nelson's fix my car I'm already $200+ ahead. Excellent top notch customer service. Feel like I've found that diamond in the rough, absolutely bringing my car here from now on.Months later follow up-has now been my mechanic for several months. The service has been great and I m treated great. This is a guy who won t think twice about stepping away from a job for a couple minutes to look at your car and tell you what he thinks. Had one issue that he diligently worked to track down. Overall this is an excellent business and the customer service has been excellent.

UPDATE- 6/14/2023The business has since compensated for the issue stated below through the arbitration process and rating has been changed to 4.I wish things were different and I could've left a better review, but these are the facts. I came in because I've been meaning to get my front right wheel checked because it was making a very loud noise ever since I moved to the state. I explained what the problem was, and was told it was likely the wheel bearing causing the noise and a reasonable estimate was given at first, then work started. Waited for a while and at some point heard profanities coming from the workshop and later I may have learned why. Half way through the work, I was informed that my ABS sensor was destroyed and that a new one would be ordered at MY expense for 85$ but I would have to come back monday to have it installed. On top of the fact that it was an unexpected cost to have an unrelated part that was functioning be broken by shop itself and have to pay for their mistake, I was only in town for the weekend and couldn't make the time to come back for that so I declined the option and now I have no ABS sensor/front collision radar because of it. The cherry on top was when I was given the keys after the long wait and the car started making a new noise like metal scraping together, warranting a return trip for the issue to be addressed. I was given an apology with the reason for the mistake being that he was "working too fast" and missed tightening something crucial. Only then was my issue fixed at the exchange of a new issue being my ABS sensor being KIA. Although it was nice I could walk in same-day to get service, I would not have done so if I knew this was the outcome. I will be seeking partial recovery for the 85$ in damages to the car because of this alongside a better business bureau complaint.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Shout out to Nelson's auto repair for taking care of my Brother's alternator repair quickly, efficiently and reasonably! I suggested my brother use him and I'm so glad that everything worked out. Car is back on the road running great. Thank you so Nelson!

I drove to Cape Coral from MN in my 07 dodge nitro...a couple days after arriving my truck overheated/ had a coolant leak. Turns out it was my heater core. Luckily this had been replaced back in MN and had a warranty through TechNet. I called around to 10+ TechNet auto shops in the area and everyone was so rude and booked out 2+ weeks! Nelson was the complete opposite! He had great customer service and was able to get my truck looked at the day of! I brought it in on a Monday and he had the heater core and AC evaporator core replaced by Thursday! I would highly recommend Nelson s Auto!!!! Very kind staff, gets work done in a timely matter and affordable prices!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning
