Excellent Service and would highly recommend. I had my vehicle towed in over the weekend for service, and received a call first thing Monday morning from Josh to address my concerns.Turns out my vehicle had a broken front axle and CV Joint issues. Josh recommended the repair of both for t axels and CV joints and quoted a very reasonable price based upon his obvious knowledge in automotive repair.Approximately 5 hours later I picked up my vehicle and am highly satisfied both with the repair and the high level of customer service provided by Josh.The most notable asset I experienced was the high level of communication.I will be seeking their advice and services in the future for my automotive prevention and repair needs.

I was helping my son find out if his transmission was no good. I spoke with the manager, Josh, who was very helpful and said he would take a look at it. The next day he called me back with the bad news. But, he had a few options to choose from. He went the extra mile to make sure we were making the right decision considering the miles and year of the vehicle. 100% transparency was his only objective and I appreciate that very much. You can trust Josh at the Del Prado location. Highly recommended.

Fantastic. Absolutely can not say enough good things. Transmission was giving me trouble for years. Now it is perfect. Plus, they took care of a few other little things that were bugging me,like charging my AC, replacing my starter, and fixing one of my key cylinders. I am super happy. And everything cost less than I was expecting for just the transmission work. I will definitely be returning. Very professional. Great work.

Josh provided great service and repaired my transmission for way less than the other shops I went to because they found an electrical issue and did not have to rebuild the transmission. I will take my car there for everything as finding an honest repair shop is hard to do!

I just want to say how thankful I am for this place. I have an older car that I am trying to keep running for as long as I can and they have been honest with me all the way. A few years back my transmission started having issues and they did a transmission fluid changed which helped tremendously however after a few more years I needed to have my transmission changed. They did this and my car is running like new. They are very responsive and felt like they were honest with the whole processService: Transmission repair

Mike and the guys are beyond exceptional. I was slightly worried about my car being there for a little longer but it was all worth it for Mike was concerned about fixing it and not having me take it with any underlying issues. I usually get what needs to be fixed at that moment only for my car to return very soon. Not the case here. A great thanks to the guys here. My car feels stronger than ever and the recommendations by Mike truly shows he puts himself in the customers shoes to ensure he does what's right by us. Strongly recommend this place. Mr. Michael was a life saver on my 2006 Honda Accord. He communicated to me during the whole process of waiting on parts to come in. He also described the whole process to me in great detail. With me being a younger customer I was very grateful to find him. He helped me save so much money and his guys were so quick with fixing everything. Even kept my car clean from grease and dirt:) I highly recommend going to this shop, if you are in need of high quality work at a great price! Mike is simply an example of what a good business owner ought to be. Reasonable, honest, and his guys work hard for him. I ve done business here three times and will continue for the duration of my stay in SWFL.I came to Mike with an array of issues this time, and the team was able to get me diagnosed and back on the road as soon as the proper parts came in. They communicated with me the whole time as they discovered potential new problems and again I can t stress how fair and reasonable they are. Mike and his team are the best around. The customer service was absolutely amazing, starting with Paul, who was the first I spoke with. He was very accommodating by working around my schedule and answering all my questions. Mike and his team did a fantastic job and had my vehicle fixed and back to me within 2 days. The price was 3x's lower then 4 other quotes I received elsewhere. Definitely would recommend over any other shop for sure.

I went to Modern Auto to get a second opinion on my AC repair, originally I was quoted $3,000 for a total system replacement, which seemed ridiculous for a car that was 5 years old. When I brought my car to them they were able to look at it almost immediately and get me a quote within 1.5 hours. They told me that I needed a new condenser and 3 valves replaced. I ended up paying less than 1/3 of what I was originally quoted, and my ac was running like new in less than a week! As someone who has grown up in the auto industry and surrounded by mechanics, I appreciated that they were transparent about what the costs were and didn't give me the runaround with what needed to be done. One year later my ac is still working amazingly, which is definitely necessary in the SWFL heat and humidity :) I recommend modern auto to all my friends and family who need work done on their cars.

Beware!!! My fiance took his company van in for repair and someone helped themselves to a brand new (in the box) chain saw that was in the back of the van. The van was full of supplies brought down to Florida from Michigan to help with the hurricane clean up and repairs. Absolutely not acceptable!Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

I was down in ft Myers for a baseball tournament and the truck starter went out two doors down from this shop the owner not only had his guy to pull the truck to his shop he fixed it and I was on my way. He was very kind and understanding and took care of us in a few hours and we were on our way. When I come down I will DEFINITELY come to see him if not sooner! Great shop and great guy!

I brought my truck in with shifting issues on a brand new transmission, after getting them to fix a few things they had to warranty my transmission swap then it out. After the swap the abs light came on and was causing the original issue the owner has gone above and beyond trying to help me fix my issue. making 100 phone calls and emails because the part is discontinued and unavailable anywhere. definitely warrants the 5 stars for the excellent service I ve gotten

I originally brought my vehicle to a repair shop in NFM, after two days, I found out they still haven't touched my vehicle. I looked online to see if I could find another shop and I came across this one. The same day I brought it in Mike and his team took a look at my vehicle. He explained what he thought the problem was. It turned out it was going to be a more complicated job but he went above and beyond to fix the issue with my transmission without me having to get a new one altogether. The price was reasonable for the service that was performed. Now my car is running great. I would highly recommend this place for your car repairs. Mike is just so personable and really values one as a customer.

I could write for days but to put it simply, The guys at Modern Auto Air were outstanding and not only did they charge me less than any other mechanic nearby but they showed amazing customer service by being friendly and by showing that they truly care about each and every customer. I have never received this kind of service from any other repair shop before and will continue to bring my vehicle here anytime i am in Cape Coral. These guys do a excellent job at explaining the issue and how to fix it and NO ONE is going to give you a better price or go out of their way to make sure you leave happy like the guys at Modern Auto Air.Mike, I will forever appreciate the kindness you showed me and want to thank you again for helping me get back on the road.

Mike and his staff were exceptionally kind to my elderly parents who went to him after having their vehicle serviced at another shop where after/during the replacement of a $750 radiator they had broken off a bolt to the a/c compressor causing the fluid to empty and the a/c system in the vehicle to stop working. Mike and his staff found the bolt and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. The cost of the repair was less than the shop that caused the problem quoted!!! I will recommend Modern Auto Air to everyone I know.Thank you Mike you made an exceptionally bad, frustrating, expensive, and exhaustive experience for my elderly parents tolerable.

The high points for this place based on my experience was the owner Mike being understanding and willing to work with me from the beginning . Also they were willing to waive a few minor repairs due to the circumstances I faced without my car. However a couple of not so good things did come out including them having my car for a whole month which was a major inconvenience and early on a big lack of communication which I just hope those guys improve on those aspects in the future, speed and communication. Overall I'm grateful they were able to swap my faulty transmission .

My old Ford F-150 4X4 transmission finally died. So I check around to get it replaced. I check out 2 other shops that fix and re-build transmissions. My neighbors recommend that I give Modern auto Air & Transmission a call, as he had his wife s car fixed by them like 7 years ago and still no problems. So I ended up at Modern and I bought their 3 year warranty transmission,. You can t transfer it to a new owner but I didn t care, cause I m keeping my old truck Got the warranty, because like I said; I have had this Great Ford Truck for 22 years come 2014, let s see if I can get another 200,000 miles out of the old gal with this new transmission from Mike and his crew. We shall see. Here s why the review. I picked my truck at the beginning of the month and it ran great but all of a sudden it started to stick between second and third. So I took it back and right away Modern fixed it. There was some kind of computer, electrical issue but because I had just bought the warranty they gave me a rental car for the day until they took care of the problem. So that the reason for the positive review. I would have given them 5 stars if the electrical computer thing had not happened but the rental sure deserves at least 4 stars.

After my cars AC went out in the middle of summer and getting ripped off at Firestone.I called Modern Car care and Mike was super polite and nice and helped me out right away!I came to the shop where Mike again helped me promptly and quickly, fixing my AC for my little girl and I in less than 10min. I'm not related to Michael or any of his staff at Modern Auto, but I might as well be, because that's how well I have been treated there. This is a no frills place - no fancy waiting room with coffee and cookies, no designer office furniture- just a few beat up chairs and four year old magazines. What Modern Auto does have is integrity, honesty and expertise. We have had a few vehicles repaired there and find them to diagnose correctly, price fairly and best of all perform quality work. Don't be limited by their name - air and transmission - they do it all and they do it well.

Took my older GM car in to get a few things fixed the dealer said was broken. They checked everything the dealership said was broken and told me what exactly needed to be fixed, with a good price. My cars parts aren't the easiest parts to find since my car was discontinued. They found my parts and had my car back within a few days.I'd definitely continue to get all my work done here since they are very quick and very fair on the pricing for repairs. They are pretty legit.Let's see how long my goat lasts.

Had my full air conditioning system replaced 2 years ago at Modern Automotive. Found recently the system was not as cool as it should be and took it back over this morning to discuss with them. They immediately had me pull my car up, tested the system, added some dye and topped off the system with 4oz of coolant. Told me to keep an eye on it and stop back if we notice any changes in the cooling temperature. I tried to pay them and they said "no problems" and to have a nice day. I feel they run a fair and business that appreciates their customers.

I have a Cadillac ATS . It is a harder car to work on and it takes a specialist . You either pay expensive dealer fees or go to Modern Auto in cape coral and SAVE time and money! They have everything to work on your luxury vehicle and their communication is way better than any dealership or auto repair shop. THEY DO EVERYTHING automotive. Give them a call if you have questions. They'll answer and help... They do not over charge or up sell like most. They give you options on parts and pricing before making repairs. You get exactly what you need and it's done the right way.On two separate occasions Cadillac wanted nearly double for the same repairs. I even had an extended warranty and I still took the car here because extended warranties only cover so much and the dealer adds their additional fees..There is a reason these guys have been in business so long! Stop your search here. Modern auto in the cape is worth it. And if you're in Fort Myers it's definitely worth the drive just over the bridge.

Took our Expedition in without an appointment for brake issues. They worked on the truck and returned it next business day. We had some concerns the day after we picked up the truck, which Michael the owner promptly addressed, when we brought it to his attention. We are completely satisfied! This was our third transaction with Modern ( one full AC repair job, one transmission repair and this brake job ) and we'll go back again to Modern should we need auto repair in the future.

We have a 14 year old Fort Taurus and the AC stopped working. We brought the car to the garage that we normally go to and they said it needed a $200 compressor switch replacement. While $200 is not much for AC repair, it was still alot to us (hence why we drive a 14 year old car!). We brought our car to Mike at Modern Auto Air for a free diagnostic to be sure that this was all that needed to be repaired - would hate to spend the $200 and then have still have to replace other very expensive parts. Turns out, the only issue was a loose wire on the compressor (presumably from the switch - hence the diagnosis for new switch). The fix was easy. Mike didn't even charge us. We are very pleased with the excellent service and honesty at Cape Coral Moderan Auto Air. Great to find a place you can trust.

Had a great experience here! I needed a lot of work done to fix my cars AC before my baby is born and I needed it done at a fair price! The owner gave gave me a great price that was half the price of other shops that I tried. The entire staff were talkative and polite as well as knowledgable and willing to talk me through the needed repairs. If you need AC repair in the cape go here!

I spent $4500 to replace my transmission and they gave me faulty parts and my car broke down 3 weeks after I got it back. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a car shop. I sent my car to them in February for a transmission replacement. They took a MONTH to get back to me and were extremely difficult to get a hold of for updates. I got the car back March 10th. Then on April 2nd, my transmission blew... AGAIN. Turns out, they put faulty parts in my car. I could have been severely injured. I took my car back and they said they would fix it free of charge because they made the mistake, which was admirable, but my experience got worse. They would never answer my phone calls. They told me I could come pick up my car on a Friday while I was at work. I called back numerous times when I was free and no one answered. I called 7 times Saturday morning and no one answered. Their website said they were open until noon. So I drove all the way from Estero to Cape Coral to pick up my car, and the entire place is empty and closed by 11am. I have never had such a horrible time. They are nice people, but HORRIBLE service. I will never take my car back here again and you should not either.Service: Transmission

I can't say enough good about this place. Michael you are amazing. You really went over and beyond to help us. The estimate that was given to us for a repair from another facility was 5 times more than they charged. No kidding, we were quoted $370.00 and they charged $70.00. Vehicle did not need as much as another facility claimed. I don't write reviews often, but considering we have not had good luck with service since moving to Florida last year I felt compelled to spread the word. So do yourself a favor and do not get a repair until you give Michael a chance to look at it and provide you with an estimate.
