Took my Cummins in for some electrical troubleshooting, and for them to give the truck a thorough inspection to tell me what repairs it may need since I just bought the truck. Had the truck for over a week, and couldn t find the electrical problem. Just said that the codes would clear every time they would look at it.As for the inspection, I already knew multiple issues the truck had, yet they said the truck was good to go and the only thing they found were the ball joints that could be replaced soon.$600 and I picked up the truck with the same problems and for them to tell me I had bad ball joints. They didn t couldn t even look close enough to find a simple problem as the heat wasn t working. On top of all of that, the customer service was awful. Recommend anyone who is looking at this shop, to steer clear.

Forwarding for someone else. Apparently this is not an isolated experience:Experienced the worst customer service ever at Diesel Powerhouse by one of the owners named Jeff! If he tells you repairs to fix your vehicle are going to be $4000 he expects you to just pay it and don t ask any questions because he will get really nasty with you if you do. Needless to say lost all future business and will drive our truck over an hour away for repairs.

There are no minus stars , so I had to give the one star. This was the most unusual experience, in communication and business practice, I have ever had just trying to fix a truck.I ll even, play devils advocate for Jeff Adair, I know I m a very small fish in a big DPH pond. But just maybe he got his trucks mixed up, was given the wrong info from the shop, but there is no way what I was told, and what happened during diagnosis, could have really took place.Cost me close to $2700 in extra expenses, for 4 remanufactured injectors, and a missed diagnosis.Got a lot to say here, and will fix later, got to go

If you are having problems with your diesel vehicle, these guys are the best in Northeast Florida. They are very professional and know what they are doing. If you want to save some money, let them take care of your problems. They blessed me by fixing my 2005 Ram 2500 Cummins for a very fair price. I won't be having anyone else work on my truck.

Fantastic service and communication. I sent my truck to them on a recommendation by another Diesel shop in Jacksonville, FL. The 70 mile trip was so worth the time and money spent on the repair. Jen the office manager was so helpful with keeping me informed with the process of the repair. I highly recommend this place to get an honest repair completed fully.

Truck runs much better than before. They did the work I wanted and did not try to upsell me on anything I did not need which saved me hundreds of dollars compared to other shops I got estimates from. Follow up service has been great as well. All questions answered in a timely manner. Would recommend, A+!!!

If you want to be treated with respect and you want your vehicle repaired correctly DO NOT bring your vehicle to these people. I have been to this shop twice, the first time the fixed the problem but I felt the price was a little high, I actually called the dealer to get the flat rate. The second time I brought the truck to them I needed the glow plugs, relay and one under cover wire harness replaced. I also asked them to repair the thermostat because the Guage in the truck was not registering. They also recommended that the thermostat be replaced.I called and talked to Jeff, one of the owners, and after I asked about why the temp Guage wasn't registering he immediately coped an attitude and sighted that I didn't get the thermostat replaced and that that was probably the issue. I would agree with that on the low end but not after the truck get to operating temp. The Guage should read temp. Jeff also indicated that there would be another charge to look into why the indicator on the dash wasn't working properly because their computer was reading a temp from the sensor. I specifically remember telling him when I dropped the truck off that the temp wasn't reading on the dash. When I asked if he wanted me to bring my truck back to them for any other work he told me probably not. I guess they have plenty of business. Then he called me arrogant and hung up on me before I had a chance to tell him the truck is idling rough on start up now when it wasn't before I took it to them. They also charge for the diagnostic and the repair. They give no breaks for the work they do. They charged me labor twice and also for supplies twice, it's on the reciept.A word to the wise. Stay away from this shop. They are not professional and will not respect you once they have your money. At least Jeff won't.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

I had a bad experience at another diesel shop and someone recommended DPH. Man I wish i'd found them first! The guys at DPH got my F550 back on the road. Even tho they are almost 1 hour away from me, I won't let anyone else touch the F550. Highly recommend them. I don't even need an estimate from them cause I trust them so much. I just drop it off and tell them to do whatever it needs!

Beware! Do not take your truck here. The shop manager is unreasonable. I was completely stranded when my truck broke down 2 weeks ago and I live 85 miles away. Here is the short version of the FACTS.It took them 3 days to diagnose (I called early morning day 1 to explain to them what I thought the problem was-lifter cover gasket on Cummins 5.9 24V-which is what it was). They quoted me ancillary work and 8 hours of labor total, that didn't need to be done such as oil filter and fuel filter. Additionally, I Over the phone we negotiated to not do the extra work and that my truck has an air dog system which relocates the lift pump and hoses out of the way=even less labor. The truck took them until Monday of the next week (5 full business days). They would not adjust the labor even though they agreed to not do the extra work. The shop manager was emotional when I tried to discuss this with him, and would not compromise for even .5 reduction in labor. This business is not BBB accredited for good reason!

**Machine shop review**Jeff was very professional in the two cases I reached out for assistance.1) I needed a repair on a part that had a broken bolt in it. Instead of charging me for an hour of labor to remove the bolt, Jeff looked up the part number that was lesser than his hourly rate and directed me that way instead. Thanks for this advice and being honest!2) Another broken bolt - odd angle on the turbo for my duramax. Jeff was able to knock out the bolt and repair the threads as requested. Thanks!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been using Diesel Powerhouse for over 5 years. They are always professional and get the job done. I work on industrial generators and firepumps. Some of these engines can be over 40 years old and this crew gets it done. They are experts in this field and have even help me out when out in field taking my phone call. Thanks to the Diesel Powerhouse. It's great knowing I have y'all supporting my business.

I only used them for a shipping address for a new gas tank for my Isuzu diesel truck but they were nice enough to let me do that and pick it up there because I needed a commercial address for delivery.
