First of all I was a big supporter of this place when it opened and have gone out of my way to try and give them a lot of opportunity for my business. I am a fan of locally owned and operated businesses.Although, my first visit here they were out of stock of the 3 pound trimmer line I get. Both the lime green and dark green ones I needed. They also had had to order several Stihl trimmer trigger parts I needed. All other stihl dealers have had those parts and more in stock.Lastly I went in and purchased a stihl fs 110r and a 2.5 gallon gas can. They were again out of stock on the gas can. There was another customer at the counter ahead of me. I browsed around the showroom until another man came out from the back and offered to help. I said I needed a new fs110 and as he went around the counter to retrieve one from the wall another customer came in with a tire. The associate immediately started to help her with the tire and abandoned me. I had to wait until the sales guy was done with his other customer and he grabbed my new trimmer. The parts man came back out and offered to start my new trimmer for me. I said "yes if u want to buy only run it 50%-75% throttle as the manual says to not run it at full throttle until after break in." They looked at me like I was crazy. While the sales guy processed my payment the parts guy took it in the back and around the corner, which seemed weird to just start it. After paying for the machine the sales guy went around back also to see what was going on. About 5 minutes later he came back after they started it. I heard them run a trimmer at 50% throttle in the back which I assume was mine. As he handed it to me I gave it a quick look over. I noticed the bottom pads on the engine were very scuffed up. I joked and said must have had it a while. The sales man replied that no that was from starting it. I have been in business over 5 years. You don't get it scuffed that bad pulling it to start once. It was a lie in my opinion. It's not a big deal to me if it's scuffed up, but it bothers me that I was lied to and my business kept getting side tracked or put on the back burner for other projects especially since it is just a trimmer sale. .This place seems like it's a good option for a local establishment but I will not be going back sadly. I will try pickets auto in brooksville or keep going to the shop I currently use in Tampa.

I purchased a brand new STAR golf cart. I started having problems! Cart would just stop! It hurt me and my dog was thrown out of the cart as it would stop very hard. Multiple times! The owner came got my cart told me it was fine!! He said he put it on the computer and it said it was fine! He yelled at me complaining that he couldn t keep coming to me when Nothing wrong! I asked for refund and take cart back. NO he won t take cart back. I called manufacturer I took cart to the shop manufacture recommended. They put it on computer too!! Guess what there is a problem with the cart! Town and country owner was extremely rude used language that I won t put on here. He said he can t keep up with all the work because he is one man. Then why is he in the business?

The Hawthorne's, Dave and David sure know there stuff, from little lawn mower to the big industrial types. Have done biussness with them for 5 years. Always satisfied

I took my generator to have it check a week later i call they said waiting on diagnostic so i waited another week no call decided to go to see what happened to the generator he look it up after 2 weeks he told me they haven't even look at it so i took my generator not good business wouldn't recommend them

Great experience! I went in to see about getting a new riding mower, I was greeted with a friendly hello and asked how they could help. They kindly answered all of my questions and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. They seem like they genuinely love what they do! They delivered my mower and showed me how to operate it. I would recommend them to everyone.

Took our lawnmower there to be fixed. They had it for a couple of weeks because they couldn't find a part for it. Mower ran good for a couple of months & now it is doing the same thing it did when we took it there. $200 for nothing...

I read prior reviews before making the 45 minute drive to visit Town and Country Equipment in Brooksville, Florida.I met Dave and Dave and had an excellent experience. I was looking for a 46 inch Cub Cadet and "young Dave" showed me a near new machine they had on consignment which I ended up purchasing.I asked them to change the oil and add the mulching kit and they delivered the machine the next day!What a great, family owned business. I would urge folks to make the trip before they decide to buy from their local box store. They were responsive, courteous, professional and technically competent. They also took my craftsman mower on consignment.Thanks Town and Country! 5 stars!!!

They picket my riding mower for repair, drive not engaging. After 10 days and 448 dollars for spark plug, air filter, gas filter, new belts and blades system was delivered. Worked for an hour and stopped moving. Drive not engaging. I looked under the system and fount a rod that holds blade housing never attached just dragging the ground. Over all very poor service. I called them and told the problem they did not volunteer to send any any one to look at their workmanship, they are a mile and half from my home. You will not find me in any website complaining or giving bad grades to any one, I am 85 years old so I have been around. And that is my nickel and dime of this outfit.

Can't say enough good things about this place. I bought a zero turn from them, the guys were happy to answer my questions and didn't make me feel like an idiot because I didn't know a ton about zero turns. I did not feel pressured whatsoever for one company or mower over another, he just gave me his honest opinions. On top of that, their out the door price was better than other places I checked so it was a no brainier.EVEN BETTER, after my purchase I have been back twice and they were very helpful each time. The last time I went I called ahead because I wasn't going to make it before 5 on a Friday, on a holiday weekend no less, and they said bring it in we will be here. I was planning to just drop it off but they looked right then, noticed it was just the belt had fallen off (because of something I did), it looked to be still good so they put it back on the spot. When I asked how much he just shook my hand and said, "Just come back and see us. We appreciate you choosing us over the big box stores and this is what you get for it." I was already very happy with my previous experiences but this blew me away, they certainly earned all my business going forward and I will recomend them to anyone that asks.

Highly recommend David and his repair staff. Honest and hard working. Took our side by side in for repairs. Needed a new battery and they discovered the other problem was only a loose wire. Return time was great. Thanks, we ll definitely be back.

Nice shop knowledgeable folks. Bought a Cub Cadet ZT1. Awesome mower but a week after I found it 300 less at Home Depot. A couple months later on my statement I found a finance charge through Cub Cadet. I really wish I was warned about that at the time of sale.I ll go back for maintenance but I ll research pricing better before I make another purchase.

Stopped in today and spoke with David about a lawn tractor. He was extremely nice and willing to answer all my questions. After demonstrating the features of the tractor he nearly insisted that I give it a try. This is world-class customer service that is very hard to find today.

Recently moved to Brooksville and didn t know this place existed. Before I moved, I bought a Cub Cadet ZT1 50 zero turn from Home Depot and paid $80 for delivery , thinking it was the best thing since sliced bread. Long story short, they drove it down my 1/2 mile dirt (it had been raining, so mud) road because his truck would ve gotten stuck. I don t fault him for that. But I was at work so I specifically had my wife ask him to check the oil. He blew her off and said of course it does . Well, I get home and low and behold, NO OIL!! So I called them and told them to come and pick it up. It was there s to deal with now. Did some research and found Town and Country. I had no idea about the difference in quality from buying through a dealer, opposed to the box stores. The next day, I went in to purchase my new mower. I wanted the same thing, but they didn t have it in stock. After a few phone calls, they located me one (still in the crate) and set up to go and pick it up. They put all their equipment together before selling it and I was 100% ok with that. This is what they do for a living. It wasn t some random stock boy at Home Depot who does it when he isn t busy. They delivered my new mower 2 days later (for free!!) and the delivery guy made sure to go over all the details with my wife, since I was at work. The difference in build quality in mowers from a dealer and experience buying from Town and Country is night and day from my Home Depot purchase. Not only was the mower cheaper here, but these guys are amazing and I will be going back to them for any service and future purchases!

Awesome place..family owned David is a GENIUS! I get all my mowers fixed there..any problem I have he fixes..i bring them in dead..he makes them come back alive!! They know there stuff n there honest n friendly! Please just give them a visit...

They know their jobs very well. Brought my mower in and they had to order some parts. Got it back in a few days, and it ran like brand new. Highly recommend them.

GRRRREAT family owned shop! KNOWLEDGEABLE on all products. Competitive prices! Dont buy a stamped deck zero turn mower from big retail! Get a better quality, fabricated/welded deck for the same money or less!

Love this place. Service is amazing. I pulled in on Saturday at 230 not knowing they closed at 1. The owner was outside and said sorry we closed and I said oh ok I just needed to but a mower. Well he and his reopened the shop and delivered my scag mower the same day. Amazing service.

Men. This is family owned and run . I was taken back on the friendliness and honesty of the owners. They make you feel like you are family and this is the only place to buy your equipment with peace of mind. Forget the box stores and experience the right way to shop.Thank you guys..Tony C
