We traveled to this location from 2 hours away to have our boat trailer rebuilt. They were able to complete the service in one day which was outstanding! However, when we came back to pick up the trailer, no one came out to greet us nor did they show us what was done and if there were any issues found. After payment was received it seemed as though the customer service went out the window. As we were loading up the trailer we noticed that our trailer light adapter was missing. We asked the staff if they knew where it went and the man said It was bad so we just threw it away. But you can buy another one if you want. After that the man just walked off as if he was bothered by our concerns. He did not seem to care what so ever. With that being said, customer service could use some improvement, but overall we are happy with the quick, timely service that was provided.

Five stars custumers services for CLAY and his team!!I'm from PR and just got a magic tilt trailer on a Twin Vee 26ft that I just got. So they advice for all my needs and there web page is very easy to get all yours parts for your magic tilt trailer. Trailer Depot in Sarasota is one of the most professionally run businesses in the area. Our teardrop RV lost a wheel on art 75 and needed a new hub plus some. I contacted them and Scott was extremely helpful and courteous. I had the trailer towed to his location towards closing time and he waited for me. They were jammed busy so he wasn t sure he could get to it soon.Well Scott came through and repaired the wheel and it was done right! Everything itemized - very thorough and reasonable!You can trust them as they are very knowledgeable and helpful.Kudos to Trailer Depot - you know how to run a business and take care of your customers !

I was need of new axles for my trailer. From start of my order to delivery, Trailer Depot customer service was top notch! Polite and friendly and very responsive. Prices are competitive and the quality of the product was very good. Would highly recommend.

Great small shop. We needed new axels for our boat trailer. They ordered them for us and had them in in a week.We got the old axels off and the new ones on with no issues. Thank you so much Trailer Depot for making it so easy for us.

Very pleased. they did a full service on my boat trailer yesterday for only $129. all new parts bearings, dust caps and greased packed. I thought it would be $250. Also very nice bunch of people there very friendly . I am a happy thankful customer. It is hard to find good service and that at a reasonable price. Tim Raymond

If I could give this man 10 stars I would. My trailer brakes locked up on the interstate bust my hub bolts sending my tire flying. Lucky no other cars were hit. I sent my wife to get a new hub and brakes a 25 minute drive at 4:35. Clay said the owner would be in a little after close. My wife did not get there till an hour later due to traffic. The owner was about to lock up as she pulled in and he still seen her. He got us on the road again even thought he could have turned her away. I could not thank this company enough!!!

I bought my first cargo trailer from these guys, the process was easy, the staff knew exactly what to recommend to fit my needs! They did what they said they were going to! I had one issue with the trailer and it was taken care easily and quickly! They were thankful for my business and very pleasant to work with! Scott, Clay, and Molly were absolutely awesome! I d highly recommend checking these guys out!

It's very unusual to find excellent customer service at a trailer company. Trailer Depot (Clay & Scott) continue to provide amazing customer service even after I had purchased a new Trailer from them. Set up, best practices to keep your trailer healthy, and explaining things in a down to earth fashion makes them unique and worth the trip from Tampa to do business with them.

I would give more stars if I could. The differentiating factor between this business and any other (as so often) is its human assets. SCOTT & CLAY alone are invaluable when it comes to projecting an image of a business. My experience is that when it comes to parts, the reps are often burned out and not very friendly. I have seen here the absolute best. I am a complete amateur on boating. I simply went and bought an old boat on an old trailer knowing nothing. Of course... got myself into many problems so when I call I know absolutely nothing and try to explain what I need based on non technical observations... yet both Scott and Clay worked with me with such patience and friendliness. Scott and Clay are professionals, they will solve your problem immediately or get back to you. They don't miss a beat. Friendlies, most professional people I have ever experienced. I cannot say enough good things here.

Ordered 4 leaf springs and parts kit for my trailer about a month ago. Got the hardware but the springs didn t come in. I called, they were very nice, and explained that they were on a separate shipment.Got the springs a few days later, BUT they were not the size I ordered. The packing list has the right size, but the ones they shipped are not even close.Called again....was told that they would get the right ones out to me right away and call me back to let me know the way forward to return the wrong ones and get the right ones quickly, as I had a trip planned and needed to get this done. No call back.I had also received no emails throughout the whole time. I verified that they had my correct email address, still no email.Called again, was told they were on the way. Now here we are, another 2 weeks later (1 month total) and still no leaf springs...I ve guess I have to call AGAIN. Apparently no expedited shipping to cover their mistake and my inconvenience.If you want to use your trailer and are expecting to get what you ordered in a timely manner, shop somewhere else. The only reason for the second star is that they were nice every time I called. I am running out of patience.

My son had a problem with his brakes on his boat trailer and I Googled for a place to assist. I was very pleased to find Trailer Depot. I spoke to Scott and he was very helpful in his questions and suggestions on the phone. I brought the trailer in to their shop and Scott and Clay came out to have an inspection. Clay was an exceptionally polite man which impressed us immediately. Scott was also very informative and helpful in his suggestions.The repairs were completed in only a few hours , which we appreciated.I would recommend the Trailer Depot to anyone looking for this service and we will be returning to have Trailer Depot service the trailer on an annual basis in the future.Greg Hartigan

I recently placed an online order for a magic tilt bow stop. Arrived quickly but it was defective. I contacted them and immediately Scott made me a priority! He contacted Magic Tilt and got the new part shipped my way ASAP as well as arranging to have the defective part picked up from my home. I didn't have to do anything other than hand it over to the driver.From the time I reported the issue I had a new part within 48 hours and great communication from them. When stuff goes wrong is when you really get to see how good a business is and Scott and the rest of the team absolutely took care of me from start to finish. I highly recommend them and they have earned my trailer parts business for life!

I had a swing tongue kit installed here yesterday. This trailer shop was recommended to me from a friend. They did a great job installing this. The price was fair and the work was done on time. I will use them again for my trailer needs.

I need my pontoon wing brackets put on my trailer if possibly they just have to be welded. It could use a reinforcement that's for sure! Do you u guys do this work?

Awesome business. These guys really take care of you.. from clay at the front to the techs in the shop- everyone is great. I store my trailer here monthly and just used them to repair my trailer. They were quick, efficient and really treat you well. Highly recommend.. keep up the great customer service.

I needed an axle for my canoe trailer (Home made/not a Magic Tilt). Looking online, Trailer Depot of Sarasota had an axle I thought would fit. Great price with hubs. I ordered the axle and the hardware kit. Soon after, a staff member called to request more information to serve me better, and actually requested pictures of where the axle was to be mounted. (I am not a mechanic and couldn't give her good information). I just installed it and it went on so slick. These people are great!

I highly recommend this business! I recently purchased a 2020 LexusNX 300H SUV. The vehicle has a kick sensor on the rear tailgate. I was told by the Lexus dealer that I could not put a trailer hitch for a bike rack on my car because the kick sensor would not work. I thought that was silly so I started calling all of the Hitch Dealers I could find in the area. I came upon Trailer Depot of Sarasota and spoke with Scott. He advised me that he wasn't certain if the hitch would work but he said he would call the manufacturer. Scott called me back and advised the manufacture said the hitch would in fact work with the kick sensor and Scott went as far as telling me, if I purchased the hitch and had it installed and it didn't work he would refund me the total cost and remove the hitch. Well, the hitch came in when Scott said it would arrive, Scott called me and set an appointment for the install and said it would take approx. an hour. An hour later I was called to say the car was ready and when I got there and tested it, the kick sensor worked just fine!!!I love when I find honestly and integrity in the people I conduct business with and I must say Trailer Depot is the BEST!

I Ordered a new fender step for my Magic Tilt trailer online, specified the part I needed and it came to me incorrect, one call to trailer Depot and Scott answered not only was I willing to buy the correct part he told me it was on him, I know in these times we are all trying to make money but man did he go above and beyond to make a customer happy. I would recommend Trailer depot to anyone I know that needs parts or even a new trailer. This is a very standup company and you know it when you talk to the people in the store. Thanks again Scott you made a customer for life!!!

I pulled into Trailer Depot 5 minutes before they closed with the intention to just take a quick look around after having a bad experience at another place. As soon as I got out of my truck Scott was walking out asking how he could help. 15 minutes later I had my trailer picked out. The next day I was able to purchase my utility trailer but realized the reflectors had cracks. I mentioned this to Scott and less than and hour later they were replaced and I was on my way to my job. I will always come back for any trailer needs I have. Thank you for a great experience.

Fantastic friendly service. Looked all over for a trailer, found the perfect 7x14 tandem here. Best built quality, (does not flex) quality paint and brakes on both axels! Scott helped with everything I needed.Great experience will definitely buy next trailer here!

These guys are great! We special ordered a trailer, and it was delivered before our deadline. It was exactly what we needed. Scott and Clay were both fantastic to work with. I would recommend buying a trailer from here anytime.

I had my trailer repaired here today. Very fast turnaround with a scheduled appointment. Staff is very patient (I ask lots and lots of questions), knowledgeable and friendly. Overall great experience here. I highly recommend them for your trailer needs.

Super pleased! Had a repair needed quickly since my trailer is my income. Everyone else said 3 to 4 weeks. Trailer Depot had it done the next day and did a beautiful welding job. Oh and Babe is a plus
