First time here Louie was thorough and quick and friendly.He also mentioned the most inexpensive option was a synthetic mix I went with full synthetic because we are traveling.Some of these oil change places like to gouge you and try to tell you you need this that and the other thing I do appreciate that they're not like that here.I mentioned my wife was complaining about one of the wipers he said it was a little soft and asked do you want to replace it and we said yes.There's a little problem getting my hood to close Louie quickly got it rectified.Looks like good teamwork here one of the guys was finished with another car he jumped right in to check the air in my tires.One tip I would say for this place if they could move the computer more parallel to the car window because you sit in the car you're basically yelling back and forth your details.All in all Five Star Plus I will return.If this review helped you plz hit the thumbs up and consider following me

The service is always professional and friendly. They give you suggestions on what you can do to keep your car in great condition however they are not pushing to the point where you are obligated to buy anything such as filters, windshield wiper, etc. however, they have it all. I ve been going to take five for a few years and it is the only place I will go to get my oil changed

I can't believe I waited so long to visit Take 5. After calling my regular place to change my oil, they told me i had to wait two weeks! Well, i researched reviews from Take 5, and decided to give it a try. The location at 5202 Cortez Rd was perfect for me. Staying in my car, treated like a Queen, oh my!! They checked for things my old place never did. Motor filter, air filter, they were very bad! Explained the different oil products and made recommendations. I already told my whole family. My special thanks to Kenya and Louie who attended me. Very polite and professionals.Thanks again!Estrella R

Service was speedy for it only being 3 guys working. They were respectful and clearly communicated what they were doing and why! They gave informed recommendations and took very good care of my vehicle. Outstanding service! Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Excellent service- Louie and his crew are polite, professional and hard working!! As a single female, I rely on them to keep me on the road safely...I said go ahead and replace the air filter, Louie showed it to me and said it was still good and not ready for replaacement yet. That's honesty!!! Thanks guys- I'll be back!

Definitely prefer taking my car to get serviced at this location. I have been to many different take 5 locations and at this one the service is great. I trust my car is taken care of and have the ease of mind knowing that everyone is professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Fast & friendly . Kenya was our person - Professional & 5 stars, he is a great first Impression . The staying in your car is the best part. Really thats a big selling point - you know you're going to be back On the road Quickly - it would be nice to have some Reassurance of what is actually being done. That goes for All auto care shops though.My otd cost was approx $120 (new cabin filter included ). Yes, the prices have increased, but its Still worth the Time . We've gone here before & we return.

The men did a very comprehensive review of the car. They found my air filter and the interior air filter were both past their prime and change them for me. They added air to one of my tires. That was a little low. They did a good job. Thank you.

Very nice people and very helpful, the new manager is much nicer than the old one, I came in just for an oil change and they didn t force me to buy everything else like everyone tries to do. I really appreciate their help. Great service.

Chris and Washington did a fantastic job with their level of customer service. Very thorough with explaining things for each part of the servicing. I had an oil change, wiper blades and both the air filters changed. Ive always had a great experience at this location and this was by far the best! Highly recommend for you to go here!

I took my vehicle to be serviced to the Take 5 Oil Change location on 5202 Cortez Rd W. Bradenton Florida. I also had them check my tires. When I returned home I noticed that my tire valve caps were not put back on my tires which was on them before I went to Take 5. I went back to the same location and asked the service person to put them back on and I was told that they could not find the tire valve caps!! I find the service people to be very incompetent-did they throw them out?? Obviously they do not recheck the vehicle to make sure that everything is good to go and replaced the parts that were on it before they worked on the vehicle. Now I have to buy all new tire valve caps. I do not recommend going to this location if you want a thorough job done. I certainly will not be returning!!

Excellent service. I am shocked how quickly they were able to get everything done so quickly and very professional. They advised me that I was using the wrong oil for my car and I needed to change to a different type of oil. Glad I listened for my car runs better than ever. THANKS TAKE 5!!!

I have been getting all of my vehicles serviced here for around 10 years. Yesterday, I stopped by for an oil change and immediately when I pulled in there were two employees arguing with one another (this went on for the entire 20 minutes that I was there... keep in mind the oil change should have taken 5-10 minutes total). The arguing was annoying because their attention was not on my vehicle. One of the employees asked if I wanted the same full synthetic oil as before. I said yes. Later, I overheard the same employee say "5W30." I stopped him and told him that 5W20 is the recommended oil for my car. He paused to check his computer before confirming that I was correct. Apparently, they put the wrong oil in during my last visit (which would explain the random check engine lights that came on and off during this particular oil change interval). As I was leaving, the employee said "You should be good to go." Excuse me, "SHOULD be???" That's not what I want to hear after paying over $100 for an oil change!

We visited on a Saturday morning. The shop was very busy and I only saw one employee and the new manager Louis. They did not try to upsale me on a filter saying instead that the filter was clean and didnt need replacing at this time. Both employees, while very busy were able to interact with me in a very professional and polite manner. They were quick and courteous. We will continue using Take 5 for that reason.

I was given a water and the technician was very professional. Only disappointment was my air cleaner wasn t checked. I was not shown it anyway. I used a coupon worth 25.00 and that helped keep the cost reasonable.

On December 28, 2023, at 5202 Cortez Rd W, Bradenton, FL, my oil pan and plug were stripped during an oil change. The technician didn't mention it until I asked when I saw them going back and forth to the toolbox. , getting different washers and plugs. They claim they were "stripped upon arrival". I drove there, and it was fine. If that was the case they should have notified me immediately without trying to "fix" it themselves.

The he manager here at take5 was absolutely amazing and went out of his way to check on all of his guys and take care of all of his customers. Really appreciate the generosity of these gentlemen 10/10

I always have a good experience when I go to this particular shop. I have one closer to home but I find the one on Cortez by walmart much faster and a lot more friendly and helpful.

We went there today and I have to say I was very impressed with how they handled everything. They gave us a 25% discount because of Jeff s military service so that was a great bonus. They were friendly and got the job done. We were in and out of there in about 10 minutes.

Manager was on top of it and seemed like he really knows is stuff. David, who serviced my car mostly, was super sweet and even washed my windshield when I was leaving because it was so dirty. I appreciated the extra care and concern. Will be back when my next oil change is due.

This Place Deserves 0 Stars I Went There For A Simple Oil Change And They Offered To Do A Coolant Flush And I Am Now Out Of A Vehicle No One Has Worked On My Car Since Them And I Have Two Estimates From Two Different Repair Shops One Saying Transmission is not working correctly (recommend replacement) and oil in the coolant system. I Needed More Information And That Shop Couldn t Help With getting the parts for the type of car I have and they say it s best to get a second opinion. So The Other Shop States HELLO WE FOUND COOLANT IN TRANSMISSION AND TRANS FLUID MIXED IN WITH COOLANT, NEED TO REPLACE TRANSMISSION, TRANS COOLER AND LINES, RADIATOR HOSES, THERMOSTAT, COOLANT RESEVIOR, RADIATOR, FLUSHING OF HEATER CORE. TO START WITH. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THERE ARE OTHER REPAIRS NEEDED THANK YOU You Know I m Not Making This Up Because I Don t Know What Half Of It Is But Please Don t Go To This Place They Are Now Giving Me The Run Around Trying To Make Sure That They re At Fault They Know That They Are And Need To Take Responsibility I Had To Cancel A Whole Trip Due To This And Couldn t Even Make Back Half Of The Money I Spent For The Trip It s Been A Week And I Still Have No Vehicle To Get Around. Take
