Great repair shop. They fixed my old Honda Pilot so quick. Their technician was straight forward and got me up and running in no time. They fit me and got me back in the road. The price was SO reasonable and I couldn't ask for anything better. Thanks guys! I won't take my car anywhere else!!!UpdateWe took another older car, our Nissan Frontier, and these guys continued to amaze us. I also work for a fleet management company,and we see that these guys also do great work for our client's vans. Love these guys, thank you so much.

Whenever I have a problem or a scheduled maintenance with my vehicle, I always take it to Suncoast Auto Repair. The guys always take good care of me and my car and the prices are really reasonable. They are honest mechanics and I trust them for all my auto needs.

I will definitely be recommending Suncoast auto repair for anyone ( I already have)because they are very efficient ,very good.Shane and Tammy and the guys are beautiful friendly and helpful people. If I could give this business 10 stars, I would! They have mainly worked on my daughter's car, which has needed a lot work. I always feel confident that they are not taking advantage of us. The latest problem was a huge safety issue and Shane made sure to have it repaired in a timely manner so that she could get back home safely. My daughter noticed he made an additional less important repair a few days later, he didn't mention it or charge us for it. At the end of the day, it's a business, but it's evident Shane puts the safety of his customers first! I won't take my vehicles anywhere else.

Took my 12 year old Chevy Avalanche pickup for a break check and check engine warning light on also requested an overall maintenance check - tires, belts, fluids, filters, and tune up items am getting ready to drive to NJ and wanted to make sure it was in good shape for the trip never had an overall maintenance check done Shane, the owner, could ve come back with a long laundry list of things needing to be done - like the dealerships always do but instead, the spark plugs needed to be replaced and one sensor on the the catalytic converter needed replacing and that was it said the truck was in good shape Shane is an honest mechanic, reasonably priced and beyond that a genuinely nice guy have already recommended him to others.Services: Auto exhaust system repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

I am very happy with the work they did on my 2012 Ford Fusion. They fixed an issue that another business in Sarasota refused to find, after I had work done at their shop to fix the A/C. I can t speak more highly of Suncoast Automotive. They always get me in to be seen quickly, provide clear feedback, friendly to a T, and back the work they do. I brought my car in to Suncoast Auto Repair because it was making a horrible noise. They are a mile from my work and Shane offered to drop me back at work, which was such a relief. When Shane was driving my car, he immediately knew that the noise was caused by the wheel bearings. They spent time making sure it was only one side and he said he didn t want to do anything that wasn t needed. I also had my brakes done. Suncoast Auto Repair is the most trustworthy and honest place I have been and I don t feel like I was taken advantage of because I m a woman. They also have the absolute best customer service. Suncoast went above and beyond, I highly recommend them and will be back.Services: Brakes, Auto maintenance

I was towed to this service station after I had a flat tire with no spare donut in my trunk. AAA brought me to this fabulous station where I was met by the staff at Suncoast Auto Repair. They were very pleasant & very honest people. I ended up with 1 flat tire & they spotted a slow leak in 1 other. They repaired both tires without suggesting that I buy new tires to make a sale. I'm a senior citizen whom they probably could have talked into buying new tires, but they were very honest & caring about my situation. Very talented, professional & HONEST people who I would recommend to anyone.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

I was very surprised and happy with Shawn whom assisted me with analysis of my F-150. I had a check engine light that was intermittent and some knocking that occurred. He ran a diagnostic, and he determined what I suspected was very possibly a fuel issue and not a vehicle issue. He did not charge me anything for that work. That was a nice and honest thing to do, and not many are that helpful with auto without charging you for it. I will definitely be telling folks about this shop!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We found Suncoast Auto shortly after we moved to Sarasota 2 years ago and we re so grateful we did! My husbands jeep is 16 years old and the only thing that s kept it running is Shane. My car just hit 100k miles and still running great! Jeff and Shane were very thoughtful, patient, and explained everything to me in a way I would understand it. The prices seemed reasonable and the work done on the car was well done. I went back to them after they replaced some tires a few months ago, and I was pleased with everything then also. I am really glad I found Suncoast Auto Repair.

They gave me the lowest price for my repair in the area. They were very knowledgeable and competent. My vehicle s issue was fixed perfectly the first time and drives like new again. Terrible. Had my car for two months, fixed what they were supposed to fix a hear in my steering column, but broke another 800 dollar item (clock spring) in the process. Then gave me an attitude when I said two months is too long. I had to pay 1397$ for his service and 800 for new clock spring else where. Go somewhere else.

I had a great experience with Suncoast. I was having an electrical issue and they quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired it at a fair price. Great and quick service. My car was stalling an shutting off. I got it towed the day before Thanksgiving and they had it ready that evening even they were technically off for the holiday. It was affordable and saved me a lot of stress.

Love this shop!! I was in desperate repair of brakes for my Jeep. Having just moved here, I didn t know where to go and whom I could trust. Being a woman definitely doesn t make it easy. I came across these guys via google and was impressed by the high reviews. I m so happy to have found them. They were booked and close to closing, but Jeff was more concerned about the safety of the Vehicle. The cost was absolutely fair. This was a year ago and I take both my vehicles there for everything. I would definitely recommend this shop!!

It is very hard to find an auto body shop that you can trust. Suncoast Auto Repair is not only the most trustworthy place I have been they also have the absolute best customer service. Shane went above and beyond to solve a big issue that was very hard to accomplish given the severity and unusual problem at hand. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

Had a few issues with my 04 Beamer. Needed a few oil leaks fixed & 4 new tie rods. Gave me an honest price, and excellent service. You won t find a more honest mechanic in Bradenton. My car is running like new, and the car feels great! If you need something, Shane will tell you, and give you a fair and honest price. I m not a big car guy, and he broke it down in very plain English for me. I highly recommend coming and seeing Shane. Best mechanic around. I ll be going to him as my main mechanic from here on out!

My 1999 Ford 250 V8 was running rough and then to top it off - it blew out a spark plug. Shane fix the plug without replacing the head which saved me a lot of money. But not satisfied with the way it was running he kept testing and found it need 2 coils and rubber boots. And after a fuel system cleaning it now starts right up and runs real smooth. It feels like a new truck. I couldn't be happier. The guy really knows what he is doing and I recommend Suncoast auto Repair highly.Recommended.Service: Engine repair

Just moved to FL and had a really bad coolant leak that was causing my car to overheat and shut off. SunCoast got it in quick, fixed it quick, and did it for pretty cheap. Would definitely recommend.

Keeping me safe and fixing the problem!As always once I knew I had a few issues at the same time, I brought my Nissan Xterra to Shane and the Suncoast team. While diagnosing the problems I brought it in for, a more critical priority was found so we decided to address that safety issue first that could have caused much further damage. An honest service every time and always talks personally about what I want to address as the customer. Thank you Suncoast once again for keeping me on the road! -Jon Syre

I am a huge fan of Shane @ Suncoast. Solid work, great price. I had another offer form another shop for the truck service that shane beat by 40%. He also gave me a call prior to any large decision that was presented. (2010 Tundra)

Shane's slogan is "Finally, an honest mechanic". Never was a truer word spoken. Gettel once told me I needed my brakes doing, like yesterday. I took the car to Shane to get them done. (It would be cheaper). It was. He returned the car with NO CHARGE! How come, I asked. Because they don't need doing, he replied.How many mechanics do YOU know like that?He did the brakes, about a year later!!

I left a big mess trying to DIY install a cat converter. The owner was great though and got everything cleaned up and working again with it ready to pickup the following day!

Bought a certificate for service and half way expected to get the ol " it doesn't cover...."! I was pleasantly surprised and they did what was expected with speed and consideration. I had an appointment and there was no wait. I wish all appointments were like this. Very happy with their customer service.Well a little over a year and I got the ol "Your coupon book for oil changes is out of date"! Who puts a date on oil changes? If you purchase 4 oil changes I would expect 4 oil changes. I purchased 1 for my son and my other son just got a car. Until today who do you think I was bringing my vehicles to? Good will is hard to earn but so easy to loose.

Staff is always friendly and professional. They go above and beyond. They even worked on my car on Sunday because I was in a jam and needed it back sooner than later...Always so reliable and honest!!! Can not say enough good things about his shop.

I have been going to Shane for several years. I had my vehicle at another place and my son in law who is a manager for an auto parts store told me to get it out of there and to take it to Shane at Suncoast Auto. Said just because you are a woman he would not take advantage of you. That wouldn t happen anyway- had a brother who had me help replace engines, clutches, brakes or whatever. Thank you Rick!! Anyway, the first time I met Shane I knew I was in good hands. Can t find anyone better!! Thank you Shane!!

I haven't had my car worked on yet. Although I would like to mention the patience and confidence I've received from sun coast auto. I will hopefully have my car towed there tomorrow to be worked on. At witch I must say the price quoted is saving me not only $$ but time and stress.I Will have a update soon.
