Would have to say taking my car to Bill was the best experience with an auto repair shop I have had. Was having issues with the transmission in my ford focus and decided to stop by Simons Transmissions after reading the reviews. From the time I walked and met Bill and his wife I felt comfortable. Bill took my car for a test drive and diagnosed it right away and took me back in his shop and showed me the issue I was having on some parts that he had replaced previously on the same model car I have which was very informative and just nice that he took the time to explain everything to me. He had the car fixed in a couple of days and at a very fair price compared to what the dealer would charge. Would HIGHLY recommend Simons transmissions to anyone looking for someone that is upfront and honest which is rare these days. Great family business!!

Got a transmission replaced here and spent over 4k. A few months later I had a complete blowout and my transmission was destroyed internally. It was still under warranty from the original replacement. When taken back to Simon, I was accused of messing with transmission lines and he didn t want to repair it. Upon further investigation from Simon it was found that he did not replace the lines and one of the lines ended up failing which led to ruining my transmission. He agreed to replace the transmission once he found out wasn t my fault but made me pay over 1k in labor fees although my transmission was under warranty. Once paid I received my vehicle back with a vacuum leak. I returned the vehicle to Simon and informed him that the vehicle did not have this problem before. They said nothing was wrong and they did not do anything. Now my vehicle has leak problems that are costing me more money.I would recommend finding another mechanic for any of your vehicle needs. Don t end up in my predicament.

These guys were referral, and they were excellent got me in and out in no time they know what they re doing their experience, and I was very very very pleased with the work and the customer service. This is a family run business and I couldn t have met nicer family, then Tammy, Bill and their daughter it was a really nice experience Plus, they have a really cool turtle to look at lol. I love these guys I would recommend them. 100%

Simons transmissions is your one stop shop. We brought our family car here they tell us what we need with fair prices and reasonable turnaround. Their staff is professional and polite wouldn't go anywhere else for transmission needs or general automotive concerns.

we've had our car worked on by Bill and his team multiple times and they have always been wonderful to us! very thorough and honest with everything they do, and they give 110%. anytime we need work done on our vehicle we know exactly where to go for efficient service (:

Great experience, went to see them to show my leaking transmission and make apointment but on my way back home my car died. I called the owner and he was happy to take care of it. Long story short both my issues were taking care of. Happy with the service and the price

I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly positive my experience was with Bill and company at Simons Transmissions. To start, Bill fielded my phone call for over 20 minutes and answered kindly and professionally every question and concern I had regarding the transmission problems I was having. He then helped guide me in my process to try to get Toyota to cover a vehicle that should have been under warranty as he was simultaneously going through his own inspection to help me figure out the real issue with my transmission. While I was out of town Bill allowed me to keep my truck in his parking lot without issue. And when I finally came to pickup my truck to return to Toyota (after they agreed to cover the cost they should've covered to begin with), they didn't charge me a dime for keeping it there for a week or the inspection they made on the vehicle. I am sincerely blown away by such uncommon kindness and generosity that was shown to me this past week. I highly recommend anyone use Simons Transmissions, they won't be disappointed and won't find better customer service elsewhere.

If you want honest, accommodating, and impeccable service then look no further!! Billy & Tiffani are so trustworthy and helpful. They go above and beyond to give you that old school familiarity that is hard to find. Quick repairs or maintenance, this is the place!!

Hi unfortunately my family experience was horrible. I recommended this place to my son due to the reviews and I ride by this place daily. My son had transmission and engine installed. It was a mess and ended up costing more money to fix correctly. They didn't put the car back together correctly causing more issues. After taking it back several times same issues. Not to mention they had the car for over 3 months . I know these things take time put service was not good at all. All reviews are not good reviews lesson learned. If ou had a good experience I'm happy that you didn't have to deal with this situation.

I moved to Bradenton and my transmission was acting up. They got me in quickly and didn't charge me to diagnose. I needed a rebuild. Bill stated an estimate and gave a 2 week time frame. I'd recommend Bill and his crew to anyone needing transmission work. They where upfront and honest. After looking at my transmission they charged me less than the original quote. They didn't try to add on things I didn't need. The mr.milex/Mr. Trans in Bradenton literally tried to double charge me and only used diagnostic codes instead of actually troubleshooting. I had trans.rebuilt and they have fair pricing and fast turnaround. Simons is definitely worth your time.Service: Transmission

Billy and Tiffany are two of the most genuine people I have ever met. He brought me into the shop and showed me my transmission and what the problem was. He went above and beyond to make sure it was working exactly how I wanted it. The price was very fair for what I had going on. The time frame was better than expected. They have also installed shocks on my work van. Very fair pricing on that as well. Tiffany runs her shop tight, and always knows what s going on. Good mechanics and good people are hard to find. I love this place. I was referred to them by a friend and was treated like family upon meeting them. My transmission was acting up and they quickly diagnosed it and explained exactly what was going on. The people there are very knowledgeable about what they do and went out of their way to keep me updated about my Jeep. 1 week later and my jeep was back. Great people will recommend them highly. Only gripe is they charge 3.5% if you use a credit card. Luckily I had a check with me. I never carry cash. But again did a first rate job at a fair price

Took in my 2007 Tahoe for a transmission rebuild, 8 day turnaround was my experience, but Simon is extremely knowledgeable, he explained very thoroughly the misfire I was having in my transmission and my truck drives and shifts smoothly like as promised, price was just right, I d definitely recommend Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Another shop botched a simple fluid exchange.Simon immediately diagnosed their errors and made the proper diagnosis.My 17 year old car is running good as new.Honest and reliable. What more can yousay?Update, I have had additional work done at the shop. And they continue to impress with their accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism. I won t go anywhere else.

EXCELLENT JOB!!! My Engine died on my 2008 Saturn. I took it to a few mechanics even had one come to my place, they all said to junk my car! My mom gave me this car so it has sentimental value. I was crushed and the way the market was I could not afford to buy another car. A friend of mine had the transmission to his mustang done at Simons Transmissions and he was very pleased with the work. So, Highly recommended and all other mechanics telling me to " junk my car" I called and towed my car there. right away Bill was excited to help me and figure out what happened to my engine. within one day he told me that he not only could replace my engine but that he was very familiar with my car. "SATURNS are no longer made but they could still get the parts he said!" it's like he wanted to bring my car back to life! " Don't Junk it it's a great car " he said, He even told me exactly what happened to my motor!! the price was affordable! They did what no one could do and for the price of a cheap car, I got my baby back!! It's better than new! I'm very happy with the work and service! Thank you. Billy & his staff did and excellent job replacing the broke strut on my Tundra. He advised that I should do both at the same time, which I did. The truck drives smooth, straight and seems higher with these new springs/struts in place. Great job for a reasonable price.

Very helpful, explained everything clearly and even washed my truck. I went in for a clutch repair and they did exactly what I asked for without adding a bunch of extra work. I usually do my own work and am finicky about who works on my vehicle, I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. It's also nice to use a local shop that will work with you and keep you in the loop as apposed to the chain stores.

Bill s diagnosis based on my description was spot on. He communicated what the problem was and what he would do to fix it. His labor rate is very reasonable.
