I took my 22 Palisade in for its first complimentary maintenance service @ 6,500 miles in April; I had read on auto forums to mark my tires to make sure they were actually rotated properly, so I did - I was curious to know if this service department was honest! After the tires were rotated, I checked the marks at home and discovered they had rotated the front and rear tires on the right side of the car only; the Owners Manual stated that non-directional tires should be rotated by moving the front tires straight back to the same side, then move the rear tires to the opposite front positions. We also did not receive the video of the multi-point inspection done on the car, as promised. My hubby took the car back, and they stated that they typically only move tires on the same side; my hubby had to show them the Owners Manual directives for proper tire rotation. They did take the car back immediately and rotated properly at that point, but no apology, no smile - odd considering they had just been caught not doing the job properly. Accordingly, I have given them a generous 3 stars for this review; I will be happy to re-review them again after an ordered warranty part is replaced, with hopefully a higher rating for better service and a more welcoming demeanor.Services: Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection

I've been a loyal customer of Gettel Hyundai of Lakewood since 2015, having purchased a 2015, 2017, and 2019 Santa Fe along with a 2016 Tucson. My commitment to driving over 40 minutes for their supposed great service and prompt work with an appointment has waned. Over the past 9 months, securing an appointment has become a herculean task, taking up to three weeks of waiting time - an utterly ridiculous state of affairs.Today was the culmination of my frustration. I had a 9:40 AM appointment for a simple oil change and tire balance, and as I write this at 12:36 PM, I'm still stuck waiting. Sadly, this has become the new standard at Gettel Hyundai of Lakewood.In light of this deplorable service, I am seriously contemplating taking my business elsewhere, and I wholeheartedly recommend that if you're considering using their service, you should do the same

Very disappointed. First it took 6 weeks for a appointment for a critical recall. Second, since I was there I decided to have my oil changed. After waiting three hours the service associate told me my car was ready. Third, I asked what was changed for the recall. I was told the car failed the recall test and parts were needed and would have to be ordered. So I waited three hours for a oil change.Fourth, after waiting 17 days for parts to correct the critical recall after waiting the original 6 weeks for what I thought was going to be a factory part recall fix my car was repaired. There is absolutely no reason for this critical repair issue to have taken so long. I was originally informed by a email that parts were available for this issue and to make the appointment to have the issue resolved. Only to have the dealership tell me that they didn t have the parts, and never have them in stock, the car needs to be evaluated first and parts ordered.Someone needs to get the correct information to the customer on what is involved with recall repairs so this is not a surprise issue for the owner.Over eight weeks for a critical condition recall to be corrected is totally unacceptable.Service: Vehicle Inspection

While the service area is under construction the area gets a bit congested but the coffee and snacks are a nice treat. Main reason for My service visit was to have a recall taken care of but the computers were not working to allow the recall to be done.Overall the experience was ok and should be much better when the renovation is completed.Services: Tires, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

On January 24 I had the auto butler, oil change, tire rotation done. Those services were preformed to my satisfaction . Also, on that date, I had the service people look at the bottom drivers side door panel. The paint has bubbled. At that time the panel was ordered. I never received a call saying the part arrived, I had to initiate this phone call. On February 26, I returned to the service department to have the work done. About an hour after I left, I got a phone call saying they needed to order clips to put the part on. To date, I have heard NOTHING regarding getting this done. I placed a call to the service advisor last week. He was not available. I left a message. I still have heard nothing back regarding getting this panel replaced. This is ridiculous that I have had to continually call to find out what is going on. This is terrible customer service. Yet, they can call to try to sell me a new car? Why would I want to buy a new vehicle, if I can t get my current vehicle serviced. I have NEVER experienced such difficulty with Gettel and I am currently a very dissatisfied returning customer.

Had ordered a sun visor that needed replacement. Appointment was for full detail of vehicle and installation of aforementioned part. Visor installation looked great! Detailing of outside looked so good. They even cleaned the headlight covers, or tried to as there was very heavy residue on them but huge improvement.The inside was still very wet when I picked it up. I kept my windows cracked overnight to help dry it out but it was an overwhelming mildew smell.Overall good experience but probably won t have my car detailed there again.Services: Auto detailing, Auto interior vacuuming, Car waxing

I was told about the services that needed to be done in my car. I went for a light bulb head light replacement. I had an appointment at 9:45. I arrived at 9:30. Around 12 noon the service man came with a list of services that needed to be done. He knew that I was going to travel next 2 days, I had told him. He told me my tires were in shreds. My oil change was due( I still had 750 miles to go, for the 3000 miles ). According to the sticker in the window, which is still there, they didn t have the education to change it? But, anyways I was given a price to all be done. They never called me to let me know the car was ready. I had to go throughout several transfers and disconnections until I got to someone that could inform me about the situation on the car. ( I had to leave the car there and they gave me a rental for the day). When I went to pick up the car the price they quoted me was the same , only the services I was told that would be done for that price wasn t done. I called the manager told her about it, requested a copy of the estimate and was not given. I believed I was taken advantage of, mislead and lied about the services that I was told it needed to be done in urgency. I won t go back to your place ever again. It took 4 times changing out my Recalled valve gasket cover to get it correct and not leak oil. It is finally fixed. It should have been done right the first time.

Fan was great. Was great experience for the maintenance. Pleased offer ride home assistance Coordinating the visit with scheduling was fair and the maintenance and service department need to coordinate and talk to one another. Had call day before confirming my new key fob was set ip as promised with service and they knew nothing. Had talk to manager. Very frustrating.Services: Tire rotations, Auto maintenance, Battery

It took several weeks to get an appointment for routine 7500-mile minor service on our 22 Hyundai Pallisade. We brought the car home after the service and the next morning had a large pool of oil on the floor of our garage. We were told that a filter had not been installed correctly. To their credit, they did have the vehicle towed back to the dealership and fixed promptly. However, this was a huge inconvenience over what should have been a very basic service.Service: Oil change

Took the new car in for its first maintenance at the dealership where purchased. No issues with the vehicle maintenance itself but when the vehicle was returned all my seat covers were removed and the dirt from the seat covers was all over inside the vehicle. Usually when I've taken vehicles to dealerships for any work they've always returned the car fully vacuumed and washed, clean inside and out complimentary. This dealership not only removed the protective seat covers, but left it dirty inside and out. Talk about doing the bare minimum. The new PDF of service for the car was pretty cool. It was washed complimentary and that s always a bonus! The lobby was getting a renovation. The mobile lobby was a bit cramp for me. Took care of problem with proper repairs.Service person we used in Dec 22 was going to get back to us on paint chips and took pictures but when I called back to ask why he hadn't called us I was told he left due to moving. No follow up on paint issue.We needed oil change and trans check but could not get appt for a monthHad to take elsewhere for oil change and was disappointed that we could not get appt with you sooner.Service: Engine repair

Customer service is horrible. I called to ask a question and they said they would get back to me and they never did. I had to call three times before making contact with service manager. Made an appointment for tire, rotation, and oil change then when I showed up at my required time, I was waiting four hours before I was serviced. The purpose of making appointment so you don t have to wait for hours.Also neighbor called to make an appointment for an oil change and asked if the service manager give her a call back because she had never had her car service there before and they never did call back so she gave up and just went to a local service guy here in town to have her oil changedServices: General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations

Basic service/maintenance at Lakewood on 64 has had a rough development considering remodel and aftermath from Ian. HOWEVER, an oil change should never be estimated over 3 weeks for a job that can be outsourced to a competitor for less money and faster service(same day/15 min). Not-to-mention your online scheduling platform showing next day services available to be scheduled/performed. Much work need with communications, IT/Scheduling platform, and possibly staffing if services are that far out for basic Maintenance. Looking into a trade-in, but I m not optimistic with past/prior ETA s, online scheduling etc.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

We brought our car to get the forward collision assistance system checked out we had just had the sensor replaced and it seemed like it wasn't working again in other words we weren't getting the warning that a crash was imminent nor did the breaking work. They told us that our car didn't have the automatic braking feature and I told them yes it did because I experienced it it says so when the owner's manual and my wife experience it as well so the people that we were talking to there need to brush up on their product knowledge I'm really not too happy about it and if they don't know what they're talking about I don't feel comfortable bringing my car to themService: Electrical repair

After paying almost $800.00, 3-4 weeks later the same issue remain. I feel because I m a Woman and trusted the people that know Cars to really have my best interest at hand, is the reason I paid to keep the same problem . I called the dealership to let them know and no one would answer or return my call. I Pray that my Engine doesn t die on me. I m relying on God to work this out for me. I commute from one county to the next for work and travel a lot. And Yes I have records of timely oil changes I offered the dealership, but they were not interested because they saw easy money and knew I would have to pay more shortly after their service.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

The service was completely in a timely manner. 1st time there and Mark was terrific. However I want to compliment one of your sales people Will. I did not know a lot about the gadgets on the car. He stayed and spent about 20 minutes answering and taking care of all my questions. He went above and beyond but I having been in sales for over 30 years was worried he would miss his spot in rotation. Went in twice for an audio software update as I was notified by Hyundai it was available last January. When in during February, I was told their system was not working. 3 hour wait. Came back in March. After 2 hours was told they don t know anything about the update; despite my handing them the specific update number. They will find out. I have not heard back nor do I expect to. Service was timely and accurate. Drop off was super easy and we were even late picking up and the keys were left for us to come by after the service bay closed. My only complaint is the none of the fluids were topped off. An inspection was done but that would be part of it I would think. Not a happy customer this time around. Never got a chance to speak with the service mechanic about my car. They charged $20 to install a wiper blade which I could do myself and will next time and seat was not adjusted back to what it was when I gave them the car. They were under construction so I can assume that maybe that is part of the problem. I brought my car into Lakewood Hyundai for routine maintenance. Juan Cruz was my service department connection (I don't know his proper title). He conveyed information between me, the customer, and the service technicians. He was awesome. He told them to replace rather than repair a tire which had a nail in it. He also taped up a piece of trim anchoring which had been pulled loose during a mishap I'd had while driving. This saved me from a costly auto body repair bill. He kept me informed every step of the way throughout my wait, which was relatively short. I appreciate so much his caring attitude, his innovative thinking and his assistance in getting my vehicle in and out quickly. I'm hoping to be assigned to him every time I bring my car in for service or maintenance. Recall on tow package electrical wiring. Removed fuse to disable it. No fix for this problem. No expected fix coming. We bought this vehicle to tow our boat and now it is useless for that.No offer for compensation for something we paid for that we now cannot use. I went in because my tires had started to crack, which was odd because I ve had less than 30,000 miles on the car. I didn t have an appointment but told the service desk that I was afraid to continue to drive around with both of my front tires cracking. I also had additional warranties on the tires so I wanted to use the dealership specifically. They got me in same day without an appointment and I figured I d be there all day but I was out within a couple hours and they replaced them for free! I wasn t expecting that at all! On top of that, they continually checked in on me and kept me updated while waiting and were so polite and respectful. Was ignored when I drove up . Attendant walked past me and didn t acknowledge my presence when I exited my vehicle. after parking I walked to give the man at the desk my name and he told me that the man sitting in the chair out front was my assigned person. That was the man who ignored me. Waited 2 1/2 hours for my initial oil change and tire rotation . Drove off and my tires were out of balance at 65-75 miles per hour.Service: Oil change
