I d been having intermittent ignition issues with my RV. Took it to another rated truck repair shop in Bradenton and after 2 weeks of diagnosing I got no repair and a bill with the diagnostic code on it but no remedy. Took it to Roy s and within a day they had diagnosed the electrical issue and repaired. They have the knowledge for indepth diagnostics and repairs. Highly recommend.A week later I took my car there as another local shop told me I needed new brakes and rotors to the tune of $1500. I went to Roy s and they told me the brakes / rotors were fine and cleaned and lubed them for $60 An honest shop for sure. I ve found my new local mechanic for my Florida winters!

I was referred to Roy's by my neighbor, Rich D. And, had my Kia fixed in January. I wanted to thank Roy and the guys that work there! I'm ALWAYS nervous about bringing my car to a mechanic, as I'm sure others can understand, but I lucked out, with a little help from a good neighbor, that is, and great repair shop!!

Went to Roy s after a referral from a family friend to diagnose an issue with my GMC Sierra. Truck was diagnosed within 20 minutes and parts were ordered. The next morning I dropped the truck off and as promised the truck was ready in a few hours and drives like brand new! I loved the family atmosphere and attention they gave me at Roy s. Too many businesses treat you like an inconvenience but Roy s has the old school values that make you feel important and a part of the family.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Roy and crew were absolutely amazing and fixed my AC and the misfiring I was having all within 2 days! Roy even gave me a ride to the car rental place to pick up and drop off my rental. His shop definitely had that family owned and operated feel. I will be back any time I need anything and would highly recommend! PS, thank you for the tomatoes!

Roy,s did a Great job. I had four new tires and front brakes and rotors. The job was done in a shorter time and I am very pleased. I do recommend Roy,s to all of my friends. Its a great place to go for repairs and everyone is very friendly.

Roy's Automotive is the BEST place to have work done on your car. His employees have been there a long time and know how to really fix cars. I trust them completely to not add unnecessary things to bill for. Great place.

Roy s is hands-down the best repair shop in the Bradenton area. My Chevy 2500 was making a terrible noise and it turned out to be a U joint. The shop was shorthanded because one mechanic was sick. Roy came out and diagnosed my truck himself. The driveshaft on that truck is aluminum so it had to be sent out to machine shop to press out the current U joints and press in the new U joints. Then they had to pick it up from the machine shop and reinstall it in the truck. It was only $350 for the whole service including the parts. I live close to the shop so I walked home when I dropped it off. When the truck was ready, it was raining so they called and asked if I want a ride and Roy came and picked me up in my truck and we did a test drive and I dropped him back off at the shop . By far the best experience I ve ever had an any repair shop in my life. I highly recommend themService: Steering & suspension repair

We have been using Roy's for all our mechanical repairs for over 20 years. There has never been a case where the repairs were not completed professionally, correctly and in a timely manner. I would recommend anyone who needs quality automotive repairs to give Roy's a try, you will be glad you did.

Best mechanics in town. Prices are incredible. All work is done professionally and in a timely fashion. If it's a problem they can't fix ( which is rare) they will put you in touch with some one who can and handle all the details. Absolutely great experience every time!

Any time I have a problem with my truck, Roy and his staff and mechanics take care of me very quickly, and never overcharge or take advantage of me since I've been using them for the past 7 years. They are honest and always have put me first and in fact, Roy lent me a van to drive while my truck was being fixed, and even gave me HIS truck once, when he came out and rescued me on the road. No other shop owner would have done this. His customers come first...Thanks Roy....

I was recommended to Roy's for auto repairs on my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. I had my vehicle towed over in mid-July to have a fuel leak fixed. They had the truck for 7 weeks, saying they could not find the parts that were needed. After I spoke with GM and requested the part number from Roy's, they all of sudden decided to look up the parts by the part number. To their amazement they found a number of the parts that were needed. After finally locating what was needed to fix my vehicle the quote to fix it changed with every phone call. After all was said and done the cost was over $1800.00 and 3 weeks after the work was completed, I had to take the vehicle back to them. The time I took it back I had an exchange with the mechanic that fixed the vehicle the first time. The reason it was back was due to a fuel line that was not correctly put back together. The mechanic said that I had the vehicle back for 3 weeks and this was basically my problem. I said to Gina that the mechanic should stick to working on cars and not trying to do customer service. On 10/31 I had to take the vehicle to the Midas on Manatee Ave because I was leaking gas while I was fueling the vehicle. Midas got done with it and informed that the clamp that secures the filling tube to the tank was not tightened down correctly. They finished the work that Roy's should have done correctly the first time. I would never recommend anyone to have Roy's work on there vehicles. I feel that they charged an extreme amount for the repairs and then didn't have the competence to do the job right the first time.

In all my years of occasional exposure to auto repair shops as a snowbird in the north and here now permanently, I would consider Roy s Automotive as the best. Whether your car is old or new, their recommendation of what needs doing and the cost for doing so can be trusted because they are honest, not like so many other shops, including those run by auto dealers. And if they find your problem doesn t need attention, they will tell you that also.

Im a manager at another shop and we out sourced and used Roy's (as we support locally owned & operated businesses) They was fast professional and everything i would expect out of the shop i manage let alone another shop!!!! Keep up the great work

Best place to take your vehicle no matter what is wrong with it. The staff are amazing. They dont sell you things you dont need and they can fix anything. From tires and oil changes to full engine rebuilds these are thw guys you want looking under your hood

I would give more than 5! Right from the start, they were great! This morning, as if the mothership was calling her home while my Bimmer sat in the driveway, talking to my coworker, when the steam started coming from under the hood! Turns out, the radiator formed a crack, and spewed the fresh coolant that she just got all over the driveway.Walked in, and right from the start, the girls up front had me ready to hand my keys over! They quoted me, gave me a time frame, and then, thinking it was a long shot, I asked for a ride to the nearest Starbucks so I could work while they fixed me up.... Roy himself gave me a lift there AND picked me up when the work was done. TOP FREAKIN NOTCH!Thanks Roy and crew!

Great people...Brought my car there with no appointment just dropped it off the owner called me a few hour's later to tell me what is wrong...Do you understand the owner, not someone from behind the desk...The next day I was driving my car like a new car again...

Great and reasonable place to get your car fixed I've been there a few times. One time they fixed a few things that needed fixing and they didn't even charge me . which is very unusual for most car repair shops
