10/10 so happy I found this place. I forgot the name of the kind lady that helped schedule my appointment but she made everything so easy for me and worked around my schedule to get their mechanic to come see my car. Extremely thankful for Josh as he diagnosed my car, and told me it was an electrical problem. He was honest to let me know it was something they weren t able to do unfortunately, and didn t even charge me for looking at my car. As a woman I felt comfortable to know they are a genuine company, and that they care about their customers. As a busy, working, toddler parent it was a BIG PLUS that they are mobile and take the time to come out to you. Thanks so much! Will definitely be using you all in the future. :)

Josh and the team at Monkey Wrench are awesome. I reached out on Friday to schedule an oil change. I received a quick response and an appointment for as soon as Tuesday morning. Josh was even here early! Ive been using monkey wrench most of the work on my car. The communication and service are top tier. You can tell they care about their customers.

Josh is awesome!! Great customer service. I needed a new battery after finding out it was dead at 6:30am. We had to get an Uber to and from the dentist so when we got back at 10am I called Josh. He said he was a little busy which is understandable and that he could probably be here at 3pm. Sure enough at 2:39 he called and said he was on his way and would be here in 10-15 mins. Sure enough at 2:58 he was in the driveway and ready to go. Luckily it was just the battery and he even picked one up on the way and 40 minutes later I had a new battery with a 3 yr warranty and after it all tested good he was on his way. Thanks again Josh you have a great service and I will spread the word to anyone who will listen.

This is the 3rd time that I have used Monkey Wrench Mobile Auto Repair and I couldn't be more pleased with a service. I replaced a battery at a local auto store on Friday and everything was fine until Monday evening when the new battery went kaput. I thought that meant that I needed a new alternator. Today Josh came and found that one of the connectors was bad and I did not need an alternator. He replaced the connector and everything is alright. Josh could have replaced the cable and put in an alternator without be me aware, but he didn't.Josh is knowledgeable, respectful, and honest. I highly recommend Josh at Monkey Wrench.

Great communication. They were quick to respond via phone, emails and texts. It took about a week to get someone out but it was right after a hurricane and a holiday so it was to be expected. When they arrived they were friendly and quick and fairly priced. I d definitely recommend them and will use their service again in the future if needed. :)Service: Battery

Have been using Monkey Wrench Mobile for about a year or longer. Have not been disappointed yet. I had a regular auto repair shop in Palmetto who were good but were costly and wouldn t accept parts I bought myself even though they were the same parts they bought themselves. Then having to drop it off and get a ride afterwas another chore. So I looked for a mobile mechanic and found Monkey Wrench Mobile and so glad I did. They are efficient, knowledgeable and economical. Would recommend them to anyone. Been very pleased with the work Joshuah has done.

A mobile mechanic? It was great. Kept me updated with appointment times and even came a few days earlier when an opening came up.We need more services as easy to book and pay as this.Changed my radiator, thermostat, and hoses in a few hours and a great price.No added issues or upselling. Pleasant to deal with and came to my house.Will certainly use again.

Fantastic service all the way through. My wife's car wouldn't start and I was worried I'd have to get it towed to a shop just to diagnose it. Instead I kept looking around and discovered Monkey Wrench. I communicated with them via text to get the appointment set up since I was at work. That part made it very easy and I liked the responsiveness.When Josh and Jaden came out they were very friendly, despite them having to park a ways out due to our neighborhood being repaved without notice. It was hot out and I was sweating just standing outside talking to them so I felt bad for them but they had a good attitude. They proceeded to diagnose and fix the problem (needed a new battery) within like 45 minutes. Josh explained his theories as to why the issue may have happened, which was educational.If I ever have issues with my car again, they'll be the first I contact. Thanks for your help Josh and Jaden!

I can not recommend Josh enough, I would give 100 stars for the excellent service if I could, great customer service both with scheduling and during the service. Josh showed exactly on time, he got right into it without wasting any time, very professional, skilled and efficient. Great work, fixed my suspension noise issues at an amazing price too. Highly recommended, he will be my go to mechanic from now on, who needs to be at the mercy of a dealership.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Steering & suspension replacement

What a great experience I had today with Josh and Monkey Wrench !! He shows up exactly on time. Checked my brakes and said they were at a safe level and did not need to be replaced. Then he diagnosed my broken front AC and found a failed capacitor. He got the part... and in 20 mins, I had cold AC again. Super nice guy, great service and great prices! All I can say is WOW! Josh is hands-down the best mechanic I've met and what a great, honest, super knowledgable. My AC was blowing warm air on driver's side and cool air on passenger's side for over a year now. I had two different shops say that the freon was full and they had no idea what could be wrong! I found Monkey Wrench by just googling mobile mechanics and read tons of 5 star positive reviews I figured I'd give it a try. So glad I did! He arrived 5 minutes early and fixed the AC in under an hour. Low and behold he pulled all freon out and put new freon in and AC is cold now. What an easy FIX!! He even put air in my tires without me even asking him to. Amazing service. Thank YOU Josh :)Service: Air conditioning

Josh was awesome!!! I normally do all the work on my vehicle. But suspension work is something I have never done. I already had the parts.Josh was willing to install my parts and double check what else may be going on. I needed new lower ball joints , but he says I need to keep an eye on the inner tie rods.He had the lower ball joints in in 1 hour as he quoted.I will definitely use his mobile service again.Once again Josh,. I cannot say how much I really appreciate having Josh at Monkey Wrench Mobile Auto repair available to me. He has saved me not once, but twice when I needed help fixing my vehicle. He was able to pinpoint the issue quickly and repair it in no time. I assumed that having an on-site vehicle repair was like a concierge service, but not so. Because Monkey Wrench Mobile auto repair doesn't have overhead and an expensive building they can pass the savings on to their customers. Plus, the repair can occur wherever it is safe to perform. I was shocked by how much less it cost me compared to a traditional garage or huge chain auto repair company who charge astronomically high prices for the sake of their precious stockholders. Monkey Wrench Mobile Auto Repair is locally owned and are nothing less than a blessing. I cannot thank them enough for being there and providing me quality service and saving me from outrageous prices. They are the absolute best!

Josh was awesome! If there was a sixth star I would have a clicked on it. He communicated quickly and set expectations for timing of the work to be completed. My request had some challenges due to the vehicle being on a locked down campus. I appreciate how Josh handled the situation and the quality of work was great. Josh was awesome came on time and there was a part that was very hard to get but he was able to find it same day and fix my car on the spot super professional and willing to go above and beyond. What a fantastic service Josh has to offer our area!! I just relocated to this area a month ago and I ve used the same shop for 12 years. My brakes needed repaired and I didn t want to go to one of the big name shops. I found Monkey Wrench on Google and I couldn t be happier!! Josh was friendly, punctual, professional and explained my options thoroughly. He had my brakes fixed in a couple of hours at my work place and saved me about 20% of the quote I received. I m happy to say I ve found my new garage and would recommend to anyone!!Thank you again Josh!!!

Incredibly fast and efficient service! Josh answered the call and came to me as soon as he could! He couldn t have been any nicer. A very personable person, which is very hard to come by in the day and time in which we live. He did not come to just mess around, waste my time, and charge me an arm and a leg, but instead, gave me great speedy service! I have seen many different Car Repair Shops, and this by far is better than anything I ve come across. Thanks Josh. You definitely have my recommendation!

Josh is great at what he does and has great pricing as well! I work at a high end car dealership and I prefer having Josh work on my vehicle than any of our techs. He is reliable and honest which is hard to find in a mechanic these days!

Josh was referred to me by a fellow Corvette Forum Member Corvette Steve. My 1995 C4 needed a new Brake Booster, and 30 yrs ago I would have tackled the job. Steve recommended Josh, and I couldn't be happier with his work. At lease a $800 job parts + labour. Josh was much less, and fixed right in my garage; he knows his stuff, prompt, and very professional. I will Josh use for my C4 and other vehicles maintenance.

Called Josh for a check engine light in my Toyota four runner. He returned my call promptly and came to repair and replace a wiring harness. Rodents had chewed though the O2 sensor wires and started chewing on others after four years of owning this vehicle. The repair was difficult as he had to climb on the of the engine compartment to do it. Just Imagine what it would have cost at the Toyota dealer. What a lifesaver! I cannot believe how quickly I got my brakes fixed and saved about 75% of what a garage wanted. My repair only took 45 minutes in my driveway! Being mobile means no overhead so the savings goes to the customer. Monkey Wrench mobile auto repair comes to you on your schedule! I will never trust my vehicle repairs to anyone else! They are fantastic!

A great business model for the future. Stop spending time driving and sitting at the dealership or mechanic shop and have Josh handle everything for you. For me, everything was out-of-sight and out-of-mind. Everything I needed was handled, and it was done properly. Don't hesitate to go the mobile route with your car.
