Had a new starter installed and car still wouldn t work. So we called Marc who quoted a $125 diagnostic fee. Sure no problem! He calls after looking at it and says oh bad starter. He was already told starter is brand new. So we get the oh could have been a bad starter it happens. Then he charged about $400 to take out the starter to install a new one (that $400 doesn t include the cost of a new starter). Well starter was actually still good so he put it back on. Then he decided after that to check voltage and then goes oh you just need a new battery. Ended up costing over $700 for him to figure that out and install a battery! I personally feel we should not of had to pay for the starter to be taken out and put back in considering we told him it was new. We asked for a discount because voltage should have been checked before he just said oh bad starter and he refused. Seems he just does stuff to jack up the cost. Be very aware of this place and find somewhere else to go!!

Took my 07 Civic in for a power steering leak, and 2.5 hrs later I was driving away with a new power steering pump! Super satisfied customer, and I highly recommend you stop procrastinating and get your car fixed at Marc's!

I had a new starter put in almost a year ago and it has been giving Me trouble. I brought it back to Mark with My receipt and He immediately called the parts store and began working in removing the starter, had a new one delivered with NO charge to Me! Im so thankful for honest hard working Business Men like this. I highly recommend and appreciateMarc s Auto Repair Service

Amazing service! So glad I came across Marc when searching for a mechanic on google. Being new to the Bradenton area and not knowing many people, I had to cross my fingers I could find an honest mechanic who would do a great job on my 2011 Honda. Marc was exactly what I was hoping I would find.. such a nice guy! I took my car in at 9am and he had the part ordered, delivered, and my car done by 11am. Great service and the lowest price I could find in the area. Take your car to Marc & you will be extremely satisfied plus you will be supporting a local small business who has been around for 30 years!

I brought my vehicle in when I noticed it would pull to the left as I applied the brakes. A rookie car enthusiast like myself might have spent hundreds assuming the issue lied in the brakes or brake lines however Marc and his team are no rookies. They quickly identified the issue to my suspension at a fraction of the cost I would have been willing to pay and saved me a fortune on misdiagnosed repairs. This also meant I was able to get back on the rode that same day. I couldn't be more pleased with the service that was offered by Marc, his team and of course the brains that runs it all, his wife! Marc s Auto Repair is very honest and did an excellent job repairing my vehicle. I will be using them for any future repairs. Great place to get work done on your vehicle. Had them do the belts and tensioner on my brz. They did the work in an hour for $200 less than the competition. Marc does a great job. He diagnosed a noise coming from the front of the engine as a worn idler pulley. Another shop said it was the a/c compressor and would cost $1500 to $2,000, Marc correctly diagnosed the problem in a few minutes, replaced it for less than $100.00, the proper diagnosis and a "HUGE" savings!! Made my day!! Just today he repaired the inner tie rod bushings on my 04 Chrysler Concorde, ordered the parts, installed them and called me in a few hours. The repair was completed at a very reasonable price. I definitely would recommend his shop to anyone needing a repair, very knowledgeable and very honest.

The first time I walked into this mans shop,noticed how neat the shop was. Also found he had the tools ,test equipment and the knowledge to use them. Will not bring my car to anybody else in the future. To the ladies that might read this. This guy is a straight shooter. He will not try to rip you off. Marc is fantastic

Marc has worked on every single one of my cars since i was a teenager. Classic American muscle, Japanese tuners, even my Astro van & old school Benz. i've driven them all & Marc has worked on every one of them. his hourly labor rates are competitive, his work is solid & his shop has all the modern technology but still maintains the look & feel of the independently-owned neighborhood shop it's been since i was a kid. Marc explains everything u want to know about your car & the repair he's performing... if u get to know him he'll even give u tips on how to fix, adjust & maintain a lot of things yourself.

I went a while back because my check engine light was on. He said he would take a look and he called me when he was done to say it would be $150. He did not give me a quote before actually doing the work. All he said he did was grease up a sensor. 3 weeks later, the light was back on. Same codes, the issue was never fixed. Wouldn't recommend.

From Michigan. Our truck broke down in Bradenton, FL, about 20 minutes ago. Marc's already has it in his shop.....the part that they needed was just dropped off. ... and they are working on it. Price was very reasonable. Very glad we broke down close to Marc's Auto Repair!!!! Would give them 6 stars if I could. :)

SCAM! We paid over $1,000 to have him fix our ac and he didn't. He won't guarantee his work and charges through the roof. We had to take our truck somewhere else. Thankfully they were honest. My next stop is the BBB. I've never made a complaint there, but Marc made such an impact on me. I'll make sure he remembers me too!

Marc is full of knowledge! Very helpful! Not only will he help get you back up and running, he will explain to you what the issue was! There isn't a better mechanic in Bradenton! I trust Marc with every mechanical aspect of my vehicle!

Pricing can be a tad steep, but he actually goes through the vehicle to diagnose, rather than throw parts at it and hope it's fixedHe can do it all, from motor swaps to simple brake jobs, marc is a decent guy.

MARC IS THE VERY BEST ! FAIR PRICE,NO RIP-OFF'S HERE. ALWAYS DOES A GREAT JOB! GREAT SERVICE AND KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I WOULDN'T TAKE MY CARS ANYWHERE ELSE. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO MARC'S FOR OVER 6 YRS AND WOULDN'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

Just called to get a couple of prices on parts and labor, man on the phone didn t let me talk, was yelling at me over the phone and at the end told me if the first mechanic knows everything than why don t you take it to him. Definitely won t be coming here, if I can give this place zero starts I would, it was totally uncalled for, all because I didn t know exactly which gasket was messed up and leaking on my car.

Sad guy wanted to quote YouTube videos and seeing how it was gonna cost me more since I seen a YouTube video do not go to this guy bad review, bad review, bad review. Said he was gonna cost me more if he didn t run into any problems didn t know if what he was doing while he was looking at a YouTube video
