I ve been going to Kenny s for about 12 or 13 years and I found them always to be expeditious, friendly, and above all honest.. Kenny is one of the most honest men I know.Don t believe what some of the posters say here about him trying to get money out of your pocket. There are just times when a sound can be a sound and even when one problem is fixed they re still the sound.

DON'T bring your car here for major engine repairs, like others have said. I used this shop anytime I needed something and it was always great. It's been on a super decline after he lost all his good people and hiring these young kids who know nothing. I was told my knocking noise was my timing chain, I asked if he was sure and they said absolutely. So they changed it, I get my car back and it's making the same noise but louder. I took videos and he's claiming it was quiet which it wasn't. I take it back 2 days later and now he's telling me I have a motor issue and need a new one. So either he lied to me about the work done, or they knew my motor was on its way out and got some money out of me first. He went into hanging up on me and not listening and walking away when I'm talking and told me "Go get an attorney then" This place has turned into a shady money grab like most others. Real professional Kenny. This place has went into the gutter.

You can trust this shop in the neighborhood! They have very competitive prices, and great service. Done a few jobs there for great price. Midas gave me 600$ quote for "bad bearing", so I took it to Kenny's for second opinion and Alex at shop find out that the bearing was good and just a few bolts were loose that they tightened up for me and saved me from the crooks. Definitely would recommend this shop!

WARNING PLEASE do not go to this man's shop for any major repairs..He will sweet talk you out your money. Please read!....I had an unfortunate situation where there was a hole in upper oil pan/engine block on my 2012 Toyota corolla S. I was referred to his shop by a friend of my mom's who said she had some work done by him years ago and said he did good work.So, I had my car towed to his shop. I understand shops get busy but my car sat there for a little over a week before he looked at it to give me an estimate. The estimate he gave me was $2195 which was a few hundred dollars cheaper from another quote I got of $2600 from a different repair shop. I already knew that the repair would be extensive because it involved removing the engine. Paid this man in full to start the repairs ($2195). It took another week to repair my car.I dont think they really knew what they were doing. They called me during the repair process and said they needed another part and charged me an additional $175. So, at this point I have now paid $2,370. They had my car for Three weeks. I go to pick up my car and they tell me I have a radiator leak and tried to give me an estimate on repairs. The radiator was not leaking when the car went into the shop. Also, you had my car for THREE WEEKS and you didn't notice the radiator was supposedly leaking only after putting the engine back into my car.I looked under my hood and spotted within the first 30 seconds the broken piece of radiator and hose which I whole heartedly believe his mechanic named Alex broke while trying to reinstall the engine. I mentioned this to Kenny and he denied it saying his mechanic would not do that. I understand mistakes happen but to blatantly lie to me as if it's something I did is totally disrespectful and unprofessional. This situation is disheartening because I still have to make car payments on this vehicle and now I have to get my radiator replaced after spending all that money at his shop.To be that money hungry is a shame. Believe the bad reviews and trust your gut, do not go to this man's shop. I pray karma comes quick, fast and in a hurry for Kenny and the rest of the people that work there.

I've always had a positive experience here. Very good service and fair pricing. I won't go anywhere else. After many years and many vehicles this shop is the best!

Everyone was very nice. They had great customer service straight from the start and had the best pricing by far. I called over 7 places and they honestly was still the cheapest. Glad they were available on the weekend for our AC repair. Also was very thorough when explaining our vehicle problem. I really appreciated the time they took out to make sure we received extra care. I've already recommended their service to more family members and will definitely go back if needed for future problems.

Kenny's auto repair got my a/c working in my 1984 Buick Spaceship Coupe. It was just a "fuse" but my other tech said " man you need a whole new a/c Control Modules" lol. That cost me 140$. I paid 48$ with kenny for diagnosis. He's Honest and very down to earth. Wassup Kenny's

Over priced! (Should of looked at reviews of being over priced) Called Kenny's because I had a service truck break down and his shop was close and after talking to Kenny himself, he cailmed he had the same truck back in the day easy to work on. They got to looking at it quickly. He called me and told me my fuel pump went out and price to repair was just under $1,000 I laughed cause I paid 3k for the truck. He then starts trying to sell me his repair saying their parts are the best they come from Napa told him I'd call him back. Called Napa the part was only $361.84 for me now we know he has a commercial account and gets a lower price. I called him back and asked for a break down on his price. He had a 100% mark up on part. He charges what we would pay for part if we by ourselves (remember he has a commercial account cheaper prices) and doubles it. Well I do not let him fix the truck I had it towed to Tony's Auto where he charged me 300 cheaper and I got the same part from Napa. There are more honest people out there not trying to get rich off every repair just not Kenny.

Kenny has such a great personality and is truly kind and fair with everything at his shop. I just walked in one day, and he gave me a grand tour. Who does that today? I take all my business to him. He did a great job fixing my AC too!

Ok folks here it is who ever is giving bad reviews best in the country Kenny will get you back on the road of course it may take a bit of time Kenny got many cars all day to work on, so again all of you who are me first me first good luck getting any one to do your car. Kenny don't play he will even get your car towed directly to the shop at a low price.they fix your car fast and a fare price. Tv , shows, coffee in the waiting room. Great people great work love all of you.ya sure as hell ain't give me a reason not to,

Very disappointed and their work and how they treat their customers. I paid $180 the first time they help me. The AC only worked a week then I tried to fix it myself went back to them to see if they could help me they said they didn't want to help me I could do it myself. I do lawn maintenance and Landscaping and it's hot with no AC and I'm just trying to survive I never recommend anyone to go here ever again that's not how you do business

Do not use this company , my daughter took her car in for overheating, over $ 600.00 repair charge later said it was the radiator leaking. the car was still overheating and took it back and now $ 600.00 plus to replace thefan . Owner Kenny was coompletely rude and disregarded our complaint. Would not even address the issue . Horrible company 1- star because cant do " 0 " stars

I have a 2008 Prius and the red triangle light came on so I was referred to Kenny s auto and dropped my car off for diagnostic. They reviewed the vehicle and said there were two sensor problems that will clear up the red triangle, at this point in time they were very nice and helpful And replaced the two sensors and I took the car home. In less than 15 miles of driving the red triangle light came back on so today being the next day I brought the car back to Kenny s and now they tell me there s another problem. This problem they are not able to fix, it is a Toyota issue. It is very clear to me that they did a money grab on me and fixed what they could fix even though they were very well aware this car had bigger problems. I do not recommend this company to anybody, when he reviewed the codes today he did his best to defer it away from them being the problem and showed no concern whatsoever. Buyer beware, avoid Kenny s at all cost.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Do NOT go here. While friendly my experience has been a headache to deal with. One week after fixing my AC I had issues with my car. Lights started popping up on the dash which were never there before. They quoted me 600 dollars to fix it. They claim it s a coincidence however I don t believe that to be true seeing given another mechanic looked at it and told me they didn t put my car back together correctly. I wish that was all however I had another issues with the AC fan and they quoted me 1400 to fix that. Needless to say I fixed it myself for 100 dollars and noticed they had not connected the wiring correctly. Again they are nice people, however I m not paying for someone to be nice, simply stated they did NOT get the job done and were sloppy. Stay away and use someone else around the area when looking for big jobs on your vehicle.Service: A/C installation & repair

Used this place for yearsUntil it went Down hillin a Bobsled!!Can't do a simple Brake job!I had to take my car Back 4 times,the 4th time they kept my car for9 days and did Not do a thing to it.Funny how they said, Ohh we want to make sure it's right!! And never did asingle thing in 9 days!!Then they couldn't repair my radiator.Total Waste of Time & money!They Don't Back Up their work!!The place is a dump!Thank the good Lordfor Keillys Auto Repair is all Ican say!!Never go to Kenny's Again!

Kenny and his staff were so kind to fix my brakes 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday! I felt bad they had to stay late but they assured me it was no problem! They were efficient and personable and gave us bottled water while we waited. This auto shop has great honest service and the prices were great too; Best place for car service in town ! Kenny at Kenny's Kars sincerely cares about quality and customer care. He is honest when he says,"Stop by anytime your car gives you concern, and I will make time to check it out". He did this for me many times when I stopped by regarding sudden car issues. He is a mechanic of his word. He has fixed my 20 year old Honda many times and does not overcharge. One time he was generous enough to replace a repair service for FREE even after the warranty had expired. Great guy! Great team! Great place!

Kenny's recently did a complete brake job for me. I called and they were able to take me right away and did an excellent job. The service was quick, efficient and everyone very knowledgeable and friendly. Best part for me is it is conveniently located in downtown with very competitive prices.

My family has trusted Kenny and crew for many years to service all of our vehicles.Always very friendly, honest and fast without breaking the bank. I highly recommend Kenny's Auto Repair Service to everybody I know! I've always received friendly service fair price and everybody that I have referred to him as said the same thing and they refer him as well to all of their friends! You get quality Care for your vehicle and very friendly people and very fair pricing compared to other places I've been to in the area! They are very trustworthy mechanics that know what they are doing!

This is the best place to go to get the car fixed he always does me good and never overcharge me. And only fixes what needs to be done And I wouldn't go anywhere else. I I just came from there another satisfied job again I've been going there for 20 years. He always tells me good this last time I had a radiator problem found out one of my clamps came loose fixed it fill me up no charge. I wouldn't waste my time going anywhere else they're the best mechanics in town

My sister just went to them the other day and they not only fixed the problem she was having but it was quick and professional. Definitely will bring my vehicles there in the future. They also don't try to get you to spend more money like so many other places do. They get you in there get to the issue and get you moving safely.

Got an appointment within a week and had Jimmy come out to troubleshoot my system today. He was super professional but not so much that he wasn't relatable. He thoroughly explained what the issue was and made sure it was working properly before leaving, returned everything/cleaned up after himself - customer service was on point. He even recommended a better system but didn't push it making me feel compelled to buy it. Great experience overall!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My family has been coming to Kenny's Auto Repair & Service for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Kenny and his crew of mechanics are always honest, friendly, and above all they do a great job! I live in St. Pete now but still bring my car down to Kenny s because I know I can trust them. If you re looking for a good mechanic in Bradenton I would highly recommend giving them a call.

Updated Review:I went back into Kenny's recently because my brakes were making a high-pitched noise. Kenny's made the repair, charged me $200, and sent me on my way. As the weeks went on, I noticed that the high-pitched noise wasn't going away, but decided to give the issue a bit more time.A few weeks after that, I took my car back in because it was refusing to start after I pumped gas. The owner explained the issue but didn't take a look at my car -- he only went off of my verbal explanation.I took my car to a different mechanic. This mechanic told me that Kenny's had installed cheap brakes on my car (hence the persistent high-pitched noise), and, had this new mechanic done the work, he would have charged me less--about $150, if I remember correctly.In short, disappointed. I don't think I'll take my vehicle into Kenny's again. I'm still giving them two stars because the employees are usually rather polite.Original Review (5 Stars):I went to Kenny's earlier today because I noticed smoke inside my vehicle. The staff was so kind and generous in helping resolve my issue. This is my go-to auto shop -- and it should be everyone else's, too! Thank you, Kenny's, for all the help!
