Today March 21st I bought in my car to get service for air conditioner. Damon and Terry sat me down and patiently explained what they will doing to figure out what is the problem. They are super friendly and professional. While waiting they would come over to tell me the problem and process from their professional advice what they would need to do to get my air conditioner running. Their team put me and ease and I am super excited for my next appointment to get my car fixed in time for the heat wave. Did I mentioned they Military approved. So don't hesitate bring your car here. They3.27.24Continuing- My car went to get serviced yesterday. Dropped it off and without a hitch car service was there to take me back home. Then a 4pm picked up was sharp. Terry the owner made sure their team had my air conditioner running and as bonus he polished my front lights without me asking free of charge and of course Military discount. Like I said before they are EXCELLENT. Dont waste years and monies come here!!!!

We are from CT and had a mishap happen to our vehicle by a third party while we were not in town. I looked up the best garages in this area, and a few popped up. We were so glad we went with these guys! Very professional and helpful every step of the way. We were fortunate to have picked such a wonderful bunch of mechanics . In this crazy world of Google, you never know who's who online, but this was the right choice. I am a mechanic myself who can do most 85% of my own repais , so letting someone else work on our vehicles sometimes bothers me, but like I said, this definitely was the right choice and we will be using them again! Thanks, guys. This was a well-deserved 5 star!

We were at a beach in Ruskin with a large group of out of town guests. When we piled in my car to leave, I couldn t get my car to go into gear. I googled auto service stations that service my brand of vehicle. I called Gulf Auto Clinic. A very kind person answered the phone, and she went above and beyond to find out if they could address my issue. She told me to go ahead and get my car towed to them. They looked at my car in the morning. They assessed the problem, sourced the part, ordered the part and my car was ready to pick up the very next day. I was so impressed with all of the people I spoke with, and with the speed that they were able to fix my car. I highly recommend them for any of your auto service needs!

We have an older vehicle and have been using Gulf Auto Clinic for years. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. We are made aware of repair options and costs ahead of time, as well if the repairs are required or can be done at a later time. Repairs are done in a timely fashion and with below average costs.I have already been recommending to friends and neighbors for years. Gulf Auto Clinic is the best auto repair shop there is!

New to area and Gulf Auto was highly recommended by a neighbor with similar model car to mine. Scheduled oil change. More than that was provided (thorough inspection) at the standard price. Everyone was friendly and informative. All done in an hour. Will be going back and recommending to others.

I am from WI and purchased a car in Florida, it broke down on the way home. We had it towed to Gulf Auto Clinic and they were great. The knew our circumstance and were able to squeeze us in right away. Communication was on point. They were beyond fair and I was extremely happy with the service provided. I didn't tell them until it was all done that I was a Auto shop owner myself. I was very impressed with Damon and his team, I wish every shop would operate like he does. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 10/5 STARS.

Terry and his team made my not so great day so much better! The battery died in my 2013 Toyota FJ and within 30 minutes they had it replaced and I was back on the road again. Gulf AUTO Clinic is The ONLY shop to bring your car/ truck/ moped...whatever. They are professional, know what they are doing, and treat you with more respect than you probably deserve. Straight shooters that get the job done right THE FiRST time. If you are buying a used car, they will look it over for you. Courtesy car to give u a ride while your ride is being fixed. As soon as you walk into Gulf AUTO, you'll know what I'm talking about. Bring it there. Leave happy.

Went to Conley Buick for an oil change (2013 Buick Enclave). Service tech advised brake pads and rotors were worn out, I should not even drive the car off the dealership lot. Service tech quoted $1600 plus taxes to do the repairs. I called Terry at Gulf Auto, he quoted $700 complete for the same work. I took the car to Terry, he had his tech inspect the brakes. He told me the brakes and rotors had at least 12k miles left on them, no wear issues at all. And this is why I always go to Gulf Auto, they are honest and trustworthy.

It is impossible to exaggerate how seedy, underhanded, and dishonest Mark was with me. Over twenty four years of driving, I have owned five vehicles and interacted with scores of mechanics. This is the only negative review I have ever written. Actually, this is the only negative review I have ever written about any business ever.After my front tire blew out, I had it towed to Gulf Auto based on a recommendation. Not only did Mark replace the front driver s side tire, but he replaced the passenger one as well, claiming it was low. He also replaced all the lug bolts, suggesting those were bad as well. When I explained to him that I might have a warranty on all of the tires at another place, he assured me he was going to save the bad tires, so I could take them in for a refund.A few hours later, Mark called back and said that my initial expense of $600 for both tires was now going to be over $1500! He explained that the outer tire rod and the lower control arm with ball joint needed to be replaced and that would cost me over $800 more. According to Mark, this was a safety issue, and I should not even drive a mile with the car in this condition.Doing my due diligence, I spoke with another mechanic who explained that the issue was not a safety issue if I was just driving around in town. Moreover, the second mechanic said that he could find the parts and make the repair for much cheaper. As expected, I told Mark to hold off on the other repairs, and I came to get my car.Here is where the situation gets even worse. When I went to pick up the car, Mark forgot to give me the two tires. He was scrambling to find them, and he did manage to find one but not the other. When I reminded him that he assured me he would hold on to both tires, he deflected responsibility. He became aggressive and hostile and said, Why don t you try answering your phone? His behavior was unprofessional and uncalled for.To be fair, he did promise me that he would find a tire that matched my vehicle, and I said, I wish I could trust you to make good on your word. We will see.In short, I would highly encourage prospective customers to search elsewhere for an honest and reasonable mechanic. Otherwise, you might feel like you are being swindled at best or verbally attacked at worst.Service: Tires

They are truly the best, honest mechanics around. I brought my 2016 honda crv in because it stopped starting. I couldn't turn it on, I managed to get it started, but I had to try a few times. I thought the starter was bad. I told them the issue, price with part and labor was around 740.00, turned around, and said my wires to starter were not connected properly. It drained my battery, so they replaced the battery and wires. 253.00 was the ending price. I am just amazed by their work and customer service. The best company and I will always be a loyal customer.

They over charged me to put a thermostat in my car I had a wine problem that they fit and charge me $396 for that charged me over $170 to put a thermostat. Thermostat only cost eight dollars only three or four bolts to take out to where the thermostat is. They overcharge me to them or recommend them to anybody unless you have electrical issue.

They ve worked on my BMW. Very affordable. They fixed my alternator And diagnosed My car with an oil leak. It hadn t had an oil leak before. I got it home and it s leaking like a sieve. I understand cars.I took it to German Cars of Sarasota to fix it.

I can t speak highly enough of Gulf Auto Clinic and the team here. They are truly good people, and they do GREAT work. They go out of their way to help you, and actually care about you. Don t go anywhere else for your auto needs!! The absolute best I have ever experienced in my life. Was told by Toyota that my car needed all this work and even a water pump with a belt (which I found out that my car didn't even have) and a friend recommended Gulf Auto Clinic. They looked at my car and tested everything, turns out my car didn't need any of that and they were the ones that told me the things Toyota said I needed weren't even in my car! I am so grateful to them. They actually care...I trust them and will never go anywhere else! Thank you!!!!!

I have been using Gulf Auto Clinic for over five years. Terry has always taking good care of me and the vehicles I brought to him. He has never overcharged me or suggested a repair that was not needed. In fact, he told me I did not need certain repairs when I requested them. He charges a fair price and I 100% trust him and his staff. You can count on Gulf Auto Clinic to always be honest and fair! He gets the job done and he gets the job done right. There is no other mechanic in Bradenton, that I trust more than Terry and his staff at Gulf Auto Clinic!!!

The owner, Terry, is a God send. We had work done at a different shop on our van and it wasn't fixed properly and there was deception during the process. We still had the same issue when we left there. We found Gulf Auto online and that's when we met Terry. He was so sympathetic and made it right. We recently moved from another state and it's nice to know we have found an honest mechanic we can trust. But he's more than that, he's a man of God and we would consider him a friend. One last thing, it was a breath of fresh air going into their waiting room and seeing "happytv" on the television, which fits into their culture with the wonderful staff that all seemed to be smiling and super helpful. This place deserves as many stars as possible!!! Wow. We travelled to the area from Michigan and upon our arrival, our brakes on our 2005 Honda Odyssey went out This place took care of us in so many ways. They transported my husband too and from the shop which was HUGE as we were truly stranded. They fit us into their extremely busy schedule because they knew we NEEDED help. Also, they guaranteed we d be able to get our van fixed and back to Michigan safely and we just arrived home last night with NO issues. This place was a massive blessing to us and I can t say enough THANK YOU!!!!Side Note: our van is quite rusty, but they were so respectful of that and just took care of us anyway :)Service: Brakes
