My wife s older sedan was overheating and guzzling coolant. Took it in to Gentry s and had a rogue loose bolt taken out and my radiator sealed within an hour. Now my engine temperature and AC work great! They were friendly, honest, helpful, and didn t try to sell me anything I didn t need. Great customer service and friendly conversations. I will be a returning customer!

I have been to Gentry Automotive three times. They have been honest, forthright, pleasant and reasonably priced. I feel I've been treated fairly and had quality work done.it's not a fancy place, but the fellow that usually works on my car named Cody is very knowledgeable, and you can tell he really knows what he's doing. l feel confident that he could fix darn near anything. He's very dedicated to his job.I had my windshield wiper control arm on the steering column break and he spent probably 25 minutes with me maybe a little longer...He fixed it. Works like a charm and didn't even charge me.These are down home good folks. It's been an absolute pleasure to do business with them. I'll recommend them to anybody if I have the chance

I really recommend Gentry's! Cody is really great, and he is a reliable, honest mechanics! I started going to Gentry's a couple years ago when three other mechanics couldn't fix a high pitched squeal my car was making, and Cody was the one who fixed it. Recently they replaced the control arms for my car! I definitely recommend them!**Update - went back about the squeal, and finally decided to bite the bullet and try to replace whatever was making the noise. Cody change out a belt, and it's such a relief to not be squealing out of the parking lot after work. Thanks again Cody! You're the best!

Alternator fried while driving my work van. Called this place as it was close by. Cody answered and it was a great experience from that call on. Got me back on the road same day with a good price. He even went above and beyond, and took care of something else he saw while fixing it. Stayed late to make it happen and I m grateful and very satisfied. Now I have a good mechanic. We have used Gentry's Auto for all of our car maintenance needs over the last year. They are consistently fairly priced and trustworthy, often going the extra mile to obtain hard-to-find parts or to schedule our vehicles for convenient times. Cody is a knowledgeable mechanic and responds promptly to any questions that we have. We can't say enough about Gentry's Automotive. I originally went to a different shop with the issues for my vehicle. I informed that shop of the codes that came up on my vehicle and that shop didn't even take what I informed them of in to consideration. So I brought my vehicle over to Gentry's to get a second opinion and informed Cody of the issues going on. He went above and beyond not only did he resolve the issue, he helped me by letting me know other issues that were going on and resolved those as well. If I could I would give them a thousand star review they saved me from having to purchase a new vehicle. This will definitely be the first place I bring my vehicle to from now on and I'd definitely recommend them to everyone I know.

Gentry's is an amazing place to go. Cody is always really informative and helpful. It's tricky for us to get the car in because of childcare and work schedules and they are always just so accommodating. They're totally trustworthy and honest. Fair pricing - I never have to question if I could get the same thing somewhere cheaper or if they're taking advantage. Truly an amazing place to go. Incredible service. Cody picked up the phone right away and I felt like I was talking to an old buddy. Helped me get my issue temporarily fixed until I could bring it in the next day. In and out in 7 hours with all issues fixed and then some. Price was more than fair. Would 100% recommend and will take my car there again.

The most honest place I have ever been to. My car was acting up and they don't work on BMWs but the nicest gentleman offered to run a test on my car and found my problem in a matter of minutes. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for any kind of work needed to be done to your car.

Cody will save you. No matter what the situation is, Cody will fix it. Was stranded. Who helped me? Cody. Ran over a curb. Who helped me? Cody. If he doesn t answer the phone, take your vehicle to him asap. He s there. Just go. He can t answer the phone when he s physically working. Cody is The Man. It s Gentry Auto. Everyone knows to go to Gentry Auto. Go. I read a negative review on here. Sure. Always one. Read read it. Laughable. Cody and Gentry save people and fix vehicles kindly, professionally, and affordably. Thank you, Cody, you remind people there is decency out there.

I've been dealing with Cody for my 2001 Chevrolet Venture and he has been fantastic! I know when I drop my van off it is in good hands. If you want the best then come to Gentry!

These guys are absolutely amazing! They are 100% honest and trustworthy. I originally came in with my 2004 Jeep Wrangler to get the breaks looked at and replaced. They told me that I only needed the front break pads replaced and not the back. By then I knew I wasn t being told something that wasn t true or felt like I was being taken advantage of for extra money. Not to long after the breaks my AC started having issues and they were able to take me on a short notice and get it fixed same day. Today I started experiencing more issues and called them to see when they could get me in. Sure enough they were happy to get me and and looked at the same day. I needed to get spark plugs and coils replaced and they were able to do it all the same day. They always make sure to call you and explain what is causing the issue and they give you a quote before doing any work. They are really professional and I fully trust them with my car. And they are reasonably priced for parts and service. This auto shop is awesome! Got me right in, fixed my electrical problem and changed my oil. Even delivered my vehicle to me as I had no way to pick it up. Cost was lower than I expected. We are visiting Florida from New Jersey and had a warning light come on in our car in conjunction with our interior lights flashing. I saw that Gentry s had a 5 star Google rating so we went to see them. We were greeted by two very nice young men (I wish I got their names) and they helped us and looked at our car immediately. They were able to figure out what was wrong with our car (door not closing properly) and even cleaned and checked our battery. When I asked how much for everything they said to just give them a tip. We highly recommend Gentry s and appreciate how kind and knowledgeable they are. Thank you so much Gentry s! You earned 5 stars from us too!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

Friends recommended Gentry and we couldn't be happier. We spoke with Carl and Cody, explained the problem and it was taken care of within a day. The prices are extremely reasonable, customer service is excellent, and staff is honest. I m so glad that I found this place I dealt with Connor he is very knowledgeable, friendly trustworthy very polite and did what ever he could to get my air conditioner fixed in my car now I don t have to ride around in this terrible Florida heat without air it is very cold air now. I had taken my car to other places but Connor saved me so much money and helped me out. While fixing my air he also did a few minor things to my car that needed to be done. This will for sure be my go to place to get my car fixed. Thanks Connor from saving me from this Florida heat! I highly recommend this place.Service: A/C installation & repair

Buyer beware!Was told 30 minutes for a diagnostic / estimateIt took 2 hoursThen I was told an amount to 'get started'And told they didnt know how much after that - so it was not even an actual Estimate - only a partialThen when I called later in the day to ask a question and again the next day 3 times, all during business hours, they would not answer the phone or return my calls.Would recommend going somewhere else for repairs! I had my car taken to a different place for the repair

Very fast cheap and the workers there are all very friendly. It makes fixing your car easy and worry free when you call. Cody took care of me and I m so happy with how fast and affordable it all was. Definitely made me a customer for the further as well.

Above and beyond when helping me with AC issues. The problem I had was extremely expensive and after calling dozens of places I settled on Gentry's Automotive. They where not the cheapest but in quality of work, time management, and quality of product they where by far the best choice. I have become a forever customer after the great treatment I received.

If you want a trusted and reliable business to take care of your vehicle, this is the spot! Not at all like your typical mechanic, I have gone to Cody several times and he has went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I was in a tough spot this morning trying to get to my residents at an alf I work for, Mr. Gentry was so kind and honest he went through every single he came down himself to look at my car and make sure I could get to them. I had a great experience at Gentry's Automotive. They quickly diagnosed my check engine light and replaced my oxygen sensor within an hour of being there. I was lucky enough to run into Gentry at a yard sale I was hosting and got his card. I have an exhaust leak that is very costly and they were able to do it much less than anyone else. They were super honest stating the cost of the repair was probably not worth the age of the car but was happy to fix it if I would like down the road. They beat other estimates by $500! I will definitely be back...they are honest, kind, and know what they are talking about!Service: General repairs & maintenance
