They are the worst service department. Took my vehicle in at 8:30am on 01/30/24, I knew I needed an alternator. Called in the afternoon about 3:00, they didn t get to look at it yet. At 5:00 they still didn t look at it & needed to keep it overnight. The next day(01/31/24 around 10:00am, after not hearing from anyone I called. I left voicemail message with service dept., Dominic, and the service manager James Byrnes (he has yet to call me). Dominic called back about 1:15pm, they still haven t had time to look at my vehicle to find out what was wrong and how much it would cost. I said I feel like I am getting the run around. He then checked with service tech, they would get it in to look at in about 15 minutes.Dominic called about 3:55, it is the alternator and it would take 10 days to get the part. I also wanted new wipers and a window regulator motor. They could do the wipers and window motor the next day (02/01/24). I asked what time could I expect to get the vehicle the next day, he said probably around 3. On 2/1/24 about 3:00 p.m. I called Dominic, he said it wasn t ready yet but he would call me when it was ready. I said don t forget, I need the courtesy driver to pick me up. At 4:45pm he called good news/bad news the vehicle is ready but the courtesy driver left at 4, can we keep the van another night. I had no other option. Finally on 2/2/24 about 9:30am I got my vehicle. But wait .they called the alternator is in. I had an appointment at 8:00am on 2/13/24 to install alternator, I was told it would be ready for pick up between 1-2. At 2:30 Dominic calls and said there weren t any screws with the alternator, really??, he said they would have to keep it until tomorrow. I finally got my van back 2/14/24 but, I had purchased head light assemblies which he said they would install because they couldn t get them in, however, he said I ordered the wrong part. After leaving Firkins, I took it to another place with the same headlight assembly and they said they were the correct part & they could install on Monday. Probably won t be going back to Firkins.

Mike Davidson the Collision Manager at Firkins is the man! He worked tirelessly on our behalf to fix a warranty issue we were having with the hood of our 2018 Pacifica Van. He got it resolved!!Also, he and his staff went above and beyond to fix a " creaking sound " we were having in the driver's side tire well for over a year, that the service department was unable to rectify and said "it was just the nature of the Pacifica's and the Wranglers". Thank you Mike! We will refer friends and family to the Collision Center. Blessings!!

Took our 2023 Wrangler in for oil change and tire rotation at Firkins in Bradenton. Decided to do a 5 tire rotation including the spare. When I got home, I needed to get something out of the back of the vehicle. Upon closing the rear door, I noticed a wobble from the spare. The technician had simply put the locking lug nut on one of the studs and hadn t tightened it and neglected to put the other two lug nuts on entirely! I had driven 6 miles in heavy traffic with literally one lug nut that wasn t even tight! Thank goodness it hardened fell off in traffic! I immediately called Firkins and talked with my service writer and he told me to bring it back in! I obviously didn t feel comfortable driving it back with only I lug nut so I asked to have someone bring two lug nuts to my home and install them. He agreed to do that and a technician did eventually come out and do just that. I understand that stuff happens and they did come out and fix the issue. What aggravates me is that the service writer never called me to make sure that the issue was resolved. I would think that would be the least they could do just to make sure their customer whom they had inconvenienced was happy! If the wheel had fell off and caused an accident this could have been an entirely different situation. The service writer must have asked me no fewer than 5 times to give him a 5 star rating! Well, earn a 5 star rating and you don t even have to ask! This was not a 5 star experience! Do better!UPDATE: Service Manager from Firkins called me and apologized profusely for the issue happening to begin with and the way it was handled afterward. So I m good with that and amend my review.

I came in for an estimate on my car due to a recent accident. I was immediately impressed with the professionalism and courtesy from the staff! From the moment I arrived I was happily greeted with a warm and kind smile from Bryan along with a welcoming hand shake. I immediately felt at ease and comfortable. Thank you Firkins Collision Center and Bryan for making my 1st time experience a hassle free and pleasant visit.

Took over 2 hours to get a tire replaced under warranty. Service dept blamed it on warranty company response. I would have dropped the tire off 3 days ago if I knew of the Service challenges. Not the Service I expected or pay for. Do I need a loaner vehicle for a flat tire replacement? Horrible.

....Weds. pickup blows cold air!.....Thursday she blows Hot Hot!...of course its after 6 to find this out. LOL So, called the service department at 8am and spoke with Jon. Said to bring her in and they would try to work her in. Be there in 30! Met Jon and gratefully had the courtesy van take me back home. Around 1130 Jon calls with the good/bad/good news. Good - found the problem. Bad $2200 and have to order the parts. Good - Extended warranty covered all but the $100 deductible. :) Left it over the weekend so to be first in line when parts came in on Monday. Tuesday morning Jon calls and says she blows cold once again. YES! Once again, the courtesy van came to take me to the dealer. Up the stairs to pay the lady. Valet brought my truck around and on my way. Throughout the whole process it was a walk of great customer service from the service department.Service: Air conditioning

I just recently switched from Sunset Jeep service to Firkin s Jeep service, what a difference! I worked with Billy the service advisor knows his stuff. Been there for 17 years. Great customer service took great care of me. This will definitely be my new home for all my car repairs! Keep up the good work! And thank you Billy for the great experience!

Mikail & the collision team at Firkins are top notch! Unfortunately, I ve had to take my car here twice this year - but it has been THE best experience. My car was keyd really bad and most body shops turned me away and told me to just trade it in for another car??? Firkins took on the project and made my car look brand new. A couple days later a crazy driver crashed into me. Mikail was able to get my car on the schedule asap and again my car looks brand new and might even drive better than it did before.These folks are friendly, skilled, great communicators, and are honest. They stand behind their work. I won t take my car to get worked on anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

Firkin's has always serviced my Jeep's. Their staff are professional, friendly and courageous. Have purchased three Jeep's from Firkin's and all were cared for by their service department. I would highly recommend them for any auto repair.

The oil change and tire rotation was almost $120 on a car that's 2 years old and purchased from here. It also took 2 hours, even though we had an 8AM appointment. Then, the only lobby has a large tv with a far right wing opinion show on at a high volume. Too pricey and slow. Always professional. Concerned about customers. I had a scheduled appointment for usual service (oil change, tire rotation, brake ck,,etc) very busy staff due to volume people that arrived. Eric assured me all will be taken care of. I have to use a walker and other staff outside helped with elevator. When I got to waiting area, that same staff met the elevator and held door open to make exiting easier. This is way above what I expected. Thank you all.

I would give more stars if possible!! Mike Davidson in the collision center is truly a rare find! He went above and beyond to get my Jeep Renegade repaired after an accident that wasn t my fault. He spent hours on the phone having to fight with the insurance company to get the car repaired to his high standards. Even though they were paying the bill, his main focus was on me and the safety of my car. He kept me in the loop during the entire process, including a follow up call afterwards. The car looks and drives great! I am soo pleased with the results. I will never go anywhere else!! Thank you, Mike, for all your effort. You are a Rock Star!!

I just had my decals put on by Mike Davidson at the collision Center @Firkins.He was on top of everything concerning the installation. His customer service was fantastic and he kept me alerted with phone calls on its progress and completion. Everyone was great. Waiting room was clean and neat. I was told my wait would be 1 1/2 hours for my oil change & tire rotation & 4 wheel alinement. 3 hours later, it was done.

Our car was stolen and taken on a joy ride while we were in the process of moving. Tom and his crew went the extra mile while they were extremely busy to get our Jeep clean of massive amounts of mud, replacing mirrors, and battery, and running diagnostics and assuring we received our car back in time for a safe move. Firkins is simply one of the best dealerships I ve worked with. I have brought my Dodge Durango here to the body shop twice. Both times, no fault of my own mind you. Anyway, I have directly worked with Mike and Brian both. They are number one in my book. This is only the second time I took my 2019 Jeep Wrangler to this shop (as it is the only Jeep service in the area) to service my jeep still under warranty. Even though the repairs and maintenance is done correctly, both times took repeated visits and days for work to be completed. They did allow a free rental but on both occasions we had to pick up and return car. Workers are pleasant and try to work with us but I guess they overbook then can t get to all they have to work onService: General repairs & maintenance
