Brownies is privately owned and operated. They are expert mechanics and for the 20 years I have taken my cars there the service is consistently excellent.

After my previous "go to" shop got busier and last full checkup missed some very important things. I took a recommendation to try brownies. I called on Monday and they got me in same day. I wasted 45 minutes of a techs time before they finally had me drive around for 20 min to re-create the fault. I managed to cause the problem again and they found the clutch on my ac compressor had gone up in literal smoke. I thanked them for their diagnosis and wanted to pay them, 45 minutes of work should have been at least $50 for a diagnosis like this. But no, the owner just waved his hand and said it was fine.There's good people at this shop and they deserve your business. I'll be recommending them to anyone that needs work done.On that note, my sister was the one to recommend me. Her car had a very long list of problems I really didn't want to fix in my driveway. She went here and got everything fixed for a reasonable price. It's been several years since I've heard her car run and shift properly.

They Stepped up and helped when nobody else would when I was out of town and AC broke, 95 degrees outside.Run an Honest family business with happy customers, leaving as I arrived. Good conversation and work ethic. 10 stars

I've been going to Brownies for many years now. It can be very difficult to find an honest auto repair shop and once I found one I'm sticking with it. Big problems, small problems and some real help in some emergency situations, we've been through it all together and five stars just isn't a high enough rating.

Very professional and were able to fix my van not only same day but within a couple of hours which was a big deal since I had to wait on site. I will now be taking both my vehicles there for service.

Been a long time customer. Since the late 70's. My mother used them and i use them. I drive all the way from Tampa because i trust them.A family run business. They have always been fair and honest, it is not some chain. They have had the same employees for years. Which means they must be doing something right.Seriously , why go to some big chain, and have them "sell you" a part or service. If you want someone to be honest, yes that means not just doing a half-assed job, then go to brownies, otherwise i am sure you can find some uncertified backwoods nobody that can do it cheaper!

We have gone to Brownies Automotive for many years; even before they moved to 9th Street W. Our 4 children and their spouses go there. If you need an automotive repair shop that is clean, reliable, and reasonably priced, then I highly recommend them.

My first experience was OK. Labor price is same as everywhere (overpriced); they use premium priced NAPA (overpriced). My second experience was bad. My car came back from $1200 repair job minus many bolts and a loose air box. The day I got the car back broke my ankle and kept the car in the garage. When I opened the hood of the car to jump start the car 2 months later, I noticed the engine cover missing.
