I took my car in for an Interlock and ended up needing a starter in addition to transmission seals. I was provided and estimate of $1,400 and then charged me $2,000. When I picked up my car, I made it about 5 miles away and it broke down "exactly" as it had been before bringing it in. They then tell me that I blew my engine. When I received my care back, there is water all over the floor board of my driver's side and the engine does appear to be damaged. Bottom line, I was charged $2,000 + $80.25 to two it back to them (in addition to what I paid for the Interlock device) and now my car can't be driven and I may need to buy another engine. This is the most underhanded, dishonest, unethical experience I have "ever" had. I have never sued anyone and don't have the money to do so, but if I did, I would sue them. They have literally ruined my car and my life! I would NEVER recommend this shop if you want an honest mechanic that will actually fix your car and if there is another diagnosis besides what you feel may be wrong, an honest mechanic would tell you before letting you leave with a car that he feels has a blown engine! Don't know how they can sleep at night. Karma is all I got!!! :(:(

I would totally recommend Anderson Auto to anyone! I took my truck there with a problem I cause myself and thought would cost me alot of money but they got me all back up and running in 2hrs... I am truly greatful that Danny was able to help me out that same day! Professional and courteous!

Dan has serviced our cars for many years. He and his staff have kept them in tip -top shape without gouging us. I now take the car in and have always felt safe. I highly recommend them to you ladies.

I bring Anderson s Auto Repair my RV and my personal vehicles. My vehicles are cared for as if they belonged to them, and I trust Anderson s to absolutely do the right thing by me and my bottom line. I d give 6 stars if it were possible, I can t give a higher recommendation!

I've ventured to other mechanics but in the end, this is the one that I always come back to. They give quality advice on your next steps with maintenance and help you understand the problem if there is one.

I bought a lemon a little while ago. A car with plenty of issues. I went in for a tune up and something that was wrong with my tires. When Danny looked under the hood he found many major issues. I wish I would have went to see him before I bought the car. Wiring harness destroyed, bolts missing, motor mounts either missing or broken, transmission was going out, rack and pinion broken, alternator, power steering leaking all over everything.... so many problems it would sound crazy to name them all. Anderson's auto not only fixed several problems but Danny even worked with me on the price. Very honest and decent man. Integrity is missing in a lot of places but not at Anderson's auto. Danny is who I recommend anyone even close to Bradenton Florida goes to see if you have any auto needs. Heather is pleasant and helpful and if I ever buy another car or have auto concerns I will go to Anderson's auto. I forgot to mention that I'm not from Florida. I'm from North Carolina. I was a perfect candidate to be taken advantage of, but Danny not only did excellent work and worked with me on the price, he even did some of the work for free. That is truly unheard of in these times. Thank you Danny and Heather!

Very professional service I was needing emergency car brake repair with replacing entire brakes with new battery for a dodge caravan, it was only a few minutes before closing and Heather and Danny took such great care of me. They delayed closing their business that day to complete all of my car repairs. Their professionalism was top notch and I would recommend them to anyone. Danny is not just a great mechanic, he is a really nice person. I stopped by on Christmas eve, when all other shops were already closed, and as he was closing his shop as well. Unfortunately for me, my car engine started rattling and a check engine light went on. I was on my way from the north to Fort Myers and he was the only hope for me at that moment. Danny has gratiously reopened his shop and performed diagnostic on my car and helped me understand the issue with my engine. Turned out it was a dirty spark plug, which after cleaning allowed me to get back on my way. Thank you Danny!

Do not use this business unless you want to end up in my situation. Simple AC Repair now turns into extra costs at a ford dealership to get 3 extra problems wrong with my car that were not an issue when my car was brought to this company. Due to disrespect and absolute unprofessionalism I refuse to return to this guy Danny. Just do yourself the favor and read through all these reviews and other companies nearby and make a better decision.Service: A/C installation & repair

Terrible Business in general, Their respect is out the window to begin with just straight up disrespectful. Came in for AC Repair, took just over 2 weeks before I was given my car back. Blames everything on 3rd party companies. After receiving my car now the windshield wipers dont work and the glove compartment now slams open and their is even a screw on the ground under it. after showing this to the lady instantly I was told to set an appointment up for next week to come back in afterwords when I arrive nobody was there to greet me for 20 minutes where I found the owner and questioned him about how long my car would be waiting and when i would have any idea of whats gonna happen I was basically told he has no idea and it s not his problem because they are busy today which seems to be their attitude throughout every business day, when i mentioned The windshield wiper and glove compartment the owner stated oh I didn t touch your glove compartment and I didn t touch your windshield wipers at this point I realized I picked the wrong mechanic after a little argument I quickly asked for my keys back and realized I would never be giving these guys any more of my money.Service: Air conditioning

Always happy with my car. My 2007 sounds brand new. Competitive prices, and great people. I won't take my car to anyone else, it's hard to find honest mechanics so when you find one like Anderson's auto you don't have to look anywhere else.

I have been to Anderson's a couple times getting oil changes & repairs and I have a great experience every time. They have fantastic prices, the owner is pretty much always there & they are very personable. I'm one to shop around and get reviews and prices and I was shopping around to see who could fix my air conditioning as I needed a new compressor (the main part). He was willing to do this for me for $450 and other places were offering around $700. I didn't decide to change this out because my car is very old and I would be selling it soon anyway, but Anderson's was very willing to help me with the cost. I highly recommend this place for your car. You will not be disappointed!

Wow. Very impressed. My oil filter was stuck and 2 other mechanics could not get it off. One of the other guys said I Had to have a new oil filter housing. Third time's the charm. They got the filter off, did an oil change and it was ready when it was promised.. Very reasonable prices too. Thank you so much!

I have known danny for almost 20 years. My dad used to work for him and i have tried taking my cars to other places but always regret it in the end! Danny is very honest and gets to the point! When you need something else repaired he will let you know what it is and what it will cost! The place may look a little rough around the edges but the people who work their are awesome!

Danny has been working on my car for over 20 years. I refuse to allow anyone else to touch my car as; he's honest, reasonable in labor and warranties all his parts. I just recently bought my son a scooter and it has a warranty for a full year, parts AND labor. I refuse to go anywhere else, as does my family. They all go to him from my parents to kids.

I don't trust many people but Anderson Auto is a very fair mechanic he always gives you an options to save money. he's quick friendly and he's affordable. Honest too, very rare find these days. I always recommend him to people!

Danny did a great job fixing the a/c on my car! The price was fair and Danny and Heather took the time and explained to me everything that had to be done. A/c is icy cold now Thank you!

Danny ( & Heather ) always do a great job. I'm excited for them as the ramp up to the move to the new shop begins (+\- 12 mos). He's going to need to hire another qualified mechanic or two here soon.

Avoid this establishment if at all possible. I replaced my battery and carburetor one week prior before taking it to them. I asked that they call me with an estimate and told them what I replaced and had a witness with me to verify this. It was having vacuum problems when I dropped it off and mysteriously my battery was bad and the carb was bad but before I left it they heard it running and sitting idling on its own. It was just hard to start. When i got there they had replaced the battery and carb but still having the same problem as before. I made them put my battery back in and paid the bill $117.00. Got home and noticed the guy had snipped one of the battery wires to keep it from turning over. I wouldn't take a bicycle to them.

Name is Patrick. They screwed me sideways with a Used 2012 GMW. This is because they told me that the engine was brand new when I bought it and they told me they would pick it up free of charge if the thing broke down. This thing broke down 5 times because the starter was faulty (twice), the crankshaft split in half, the CDI fried, and because the air intake was faulty. Asked him the first time it broke down for him to come out and grab it and told me the truck was down, I then called when the truck was up and told me there would be a surcharge. When the crankshaft broke I found out that the engine was not brand new and that only the top end was replaced.Will not take my scooter back to him and will do all the services my self or I will call someone that I trust.

I recently got a 150cc scooter from Andersons and Danny was so exceedingly helpful. I was beyond picky and he was so patient and gave me a lot of options. I won't go anywhere else.
