I had the pleasure of dealing with James this evening after a stressful afternoon of mechanical issues with my vehicle. He was beyond knowledgeable and professional and just an all around great guy to deal with. The store was busy and had an exceptionally busy, high grossing day as he was telling the boss over the phone, typing away on the computer and handling a customer simultaneously. A true champ of multitasking under pressure!He hadn't had a spare second to breathe all day. He handled it so well with grace and professionalism. I was so impressed I bought him a drink from the cooler and told him to just breathe and rehydrate. Poor guy looked exhausted but handled it all so flipping great. The service was impeccable and that's just so refreshing these days. I highly recommend this location and James is a superstar imo!

I am a former master tech. Went there with knowledge that the battery on my 2019 Mini Countryman S All4 was not very easy to install. Being from out of town, I have no tools, but I need to get my car back on the road. I worked with James there at the store, who set me up with EVERYTHING needed to knock out the installation. Within 15 minutes, my core was on the cart, and I was back on the road!Big thanks to James! We both learned how that battery slides out the front due to all that extra bracing on the AWD Sport model I recommend going out of your way to work with these guys at this location.

I was having trouble with the fuel gauge, blinkers and speedometer not working. My headlights, radio and windshield wipers were fine. I decided to stop at AAP to see what I could find out. James was the only person that I saw in the store so he was very busy. When it was my turn, he diagnosed a bad battery and installed a new one within a half hour. In the rain! He was very knowledgeable and friendly.The next day I stopped in to pick up the receipt I had forgotten. Before I left, my car dash said that the battery in my key fob was bad. I went back in and one employee changed the battery but couldn t get the fob back together. A spring had popped out. Finally, after much persistence, James was able to get it back together. He is my hero.As a side note, the manager was scolding the staff out in the store using choice language which should have been done in private.

My brother's cluch fan on his BMW Z3 broke. They had the part there within 2 hours. Lent him the tools to fix it in the parking lot. Very Cool!

Just came to Advance discount auto, and was greeted by James with such a beautiful spirit. He was very knowledgeable with explaining the different parts that I needed for my vehicle. Hands down the best experience I ve had at an auto store.

My car kept stalling so took it here to have battery tested, it was bad but I bought it here a year ago so it was under warranty!!! Super helpful James helped me and installed new one! Great customer service!

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by one of the employees. I then had to wait in line to get my battery tested which took all of three minutes. The employee, Randy, that took care of me did a phenomenal job and was very knowledgeable about the products. My issue was solved and I was in and out of the business in under 10 minutes. Great service

I just called to check to see if they had a part before I drove there to grab it. I had a Hyundai Kona, and I kept telling the lady that however, she told me that I must be wrong and that s not a real car. Then a gentleman came on the phone and said oh sorry she had a Honda not Hyundai. As they were walking me through the part that I need and I said, I don t think that s correct, normally when I get it, it s cheaper, it s a small part that has some cardboard piece on it so it s not very expensive, at least it s not when I get it from AutoZone. The man got it real offended by that apparently and said well girlie this isn t auto zone and hung up.

I already knew what I needed but your employee James was still helpful even while with a neckbrace and arm in a sling. While I was leaving he was helping put a air filter in a car. Nice to see workers like this still exist.

It s hard to find good & helpful workers but Kenny the manager was extremely helpful- I was surprised when he came out and put my cabin filter in and put my glove compartment back together . I ll go back to this store& I already recommended it to my neighbor

A simple air top off was not even done properly. The service provider even read the air requirements on the door frames. Then proceeded to over fill on two of my tires. Even after driving I had to go to another tire company to get the air adjusted.

Incredibly helpful. I went there to buy a replacement high beam bulb to install myself. And, she literally handed me the receipt, asked me which one was my car, walked over and asked me to pop the hood and installed it for free. Then when I tried to tip her she turned it down and said she wasn't allowed to take it with the cameras all around.
