I just purchased a 2001 PT Cruiser Limited Edition after someone accidentally totaled mine last month. This car is 4 years older than my previous PT Cruiser Limited, and had about 18,000 more miles on it, but it appears that someone took good care of it.When I test-drove it, I knew it had a few issues, but it looked good, and the price was right. A few weeks after I got it, and after researching what I thought it needed, I made a detailed list and went to see ABC Autotech to get a "feel" for their shop. I liked Rick, the owner, right away, and made an appointment to bring the car back in to be checked over and fixed.Not only was everyone there friendly, they appear to be very competent, too. Rick called me twice, to let me know how things were going, and what he suggested in addition to what I thought it needed.Thankfully, a couple of things I thought needed to be done - did not. A few other minor things - did. When I picked up the car, later that day, I noticed that it had more pep, and drove a lot more smoothly than it had before.Their prices were reasonable, the time frame in which they finished the work was reasonable, and I am confident that the repairs they did will last me for quite a while.AFTER I made the appointment, one of my daughters reminded me that she had taken her vehicle there in the past, too. I had completely forgotten that. She was also very pleased with their integrity.I will be completely at ease recommending their business to friends and family in the future!

My overall experience with ABC Autotech was awesome! I've been in the auto repair business for over 40 years in Southwest Ohio. While in Florida we needed some repairs done on our vehicle, a Ford Expedition. After searching the internet and reading all the reviews, I decided to drive to his shop and meet him personally. Upon arrival I was greeted with a friendly attitude and a great disposition. He made me feel very comfortable and the shop was clean and the personnel was very friendly. He had no idea that I had over 40 years of automotive experience and certification. I would highly recommend Rick and his entire staff at ABC Autotech for all your automotive needs. He was honest and reasonably priced. My vehicle was fixed perfectly and in a timely manner the first time around!FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!!!!

I bought a used car and took it here at ABC Autotech for a pre-purchase inspection and they told me everything was good except for the battery. 5k miles later, I get an oil change and inspection and I get told from another shop that my front tires are 9 years old and I need my rear brake pads and rotors replaced. Added to that, I need four different fluid flushes when I was told all of my fluids were at good levels. Do NOT take your vehicle here for inspections because clearly they do not know what they are looking for. Do NOT trust their word on your vehicle; they could ve been easily paid off to say good things about the car.

If you need honest, reasonable, top-notch repairs done on your vehicle, look no further. Rick and his staff are great. Rick is extremely knowledgeable and not out to gouge you, as so many mechanics do. He goes out of his way to accommodate you no matter how busy he is and explains the repairs in a way that's easy to understand. I am so glad I found his shop. It's so clean!

We had a great experience. Had a flat tire that Tire Kingdom claimed was irreparable. Decided to take it to a real mechanic for a second opinion and chose ABC Autotech because I have never seen an auto shop with only 5 star reviews, 17 to be exact.They were honest and thorough about the job and saved us from having to buy a new tire. Thanks guys! Rick was swell.

Since a friend recommended Rick, I've been taking my 2005 Lexus SC430 for routine service for the last couple of years. When I thought I was going to have to replace the alternator, he investigated further and found it wasn't necessary saving me hundreds of dollars. He is very honest, personable, and much more reasonable than the dealership.

Rick and his associates are hands down the best mechanics in the area. I have used others - Tires Plus, dealerships, etc. These other guys will try to get every last penny they can out of you. For a second opinion use ABC autotech as Rick is honest and knows his stuff. If something is not needed, he will tell you that. This is as honest as they come. I have used him for my former car (a 220,000 mile 2004 Toyota Camry) and my current car as well.

Rick and his guys are hard working and honest. We have dealt with them on many occasions and they are helpful and courteous. If it's a problem they can't do, They will guide you in the right direction. If you're looking for quality service at a fair price, give ABC a chance. You won't regret it.

My car broke down on Cortez and I googled the best mechanic nearest to me and I was not disappointed. It was past 5 at night and I was met immediately even though they were busy and he was able to find out within minutes what was going on with my car. He was able to tell me the exact price it was going to be and broke down the reasons. To make it even better my car was ready within less than 24 hours!

I had the pleasure to meet the professional and compassionate people of ABC Autotech in the most unpleasurable of circumstances. My first visit to their service facility was on a recent trip to the area as I pulled into their driveway with unknown fluid pouring out of the bottom of my van. Rich took the time to check my van in the midst of an already busy schedule. He was honest in saying that he was already very busy but would squeeze me in as soon as possible to check the extent of the problem. He explained the needed repairs, what caused the problems, along with the approximate cost and time to get me back on the road. Him and his staff made every effort to make my unexpected extended vacation as pain free as possible. They took the time to ask if I had a place to stay, did I need transportation to the hotel and if I knew where to get something to eat. Explanations of the progress as the repairs progressed where provided without asking. I felt as if my concerns and fears were taken into consideration as all my questions were answered.When you are traveling it can be very anxiety provoking to find yourself in an area where you know no one and find yourself alone with a broken vehicle.I travel a lot and have had some horrific experiences with my vehicles needing repairs.But the best salve for my anxiety were the patrons in the waiting area. Everyone gave glowing testimonials to the consistent high quality of service they have received at ABC Autotech.This story had a happy ending for me. My van was repaired to my satisfaction and on the road even quicker than I anticipated. After my experience it is easy to see why Rich has repeat customers in the waiting area. Every stranded traveler should be as lucky as I was to break down at the door of an ABC Autotech.

We have used ABC Autotech and Rick for several years now and you will not find anyone more honest. Always fixes the issue the first time and doesn't sell you something you don't need. Service area very clean. Prices reasonable. We will only trust our cars to Rick.

Do Not Trust These People!I brought my 2000 Chevy Cavalier in because of overheating issues, I was charged $80 for a diagnostic test and was told that my water pump needed replaced which he quoted me at $430. I took the car home and looked up the parts & repair details, the replacement pump was $40 and the repair took me 30 minutes and a socket wrench! I was told my engine needed dropped which was not true at all, either these guys are incompetent or shady but either way I'll never bring my vehicle here and will always steer customers away, beware.

I m new in the area so I don t know much about the local repair shops. So I always read reviews from previous customers before I make any decisions on what business I want to be associated with.After seeing everybody before me rate ABC Autotech with 5 stars I thought this is the place I want to take my car.Rick was very helpful and gave me tons of advice on a variety of automotive questions I had for him.I found ABC Autotech to be an honest car repair shop with friendly people and high quality results.

I was very impressed with Rick at ABC Autotech. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced. I m so happy to finally find a mechanic I can trust in the area. I highly recommend this business.

Local dealership told my daughter, after completing recall issues, that the head gasket on her car needed to be replaced, it was leaking. She lives 7 hours away, so when she told me, I immediately called Rick and Bob at ABC AUTOTECH, because they are honest, trustworthy, and in my opinion, will make sure the job they do is done right the first time. Head gasket does not need replaced. They did an engine diagnostic, changed oil, and did a minor repair, but all within the scope of normal maintenance. ABC AUTOTECH IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Thank you, Rick and Bob!!!

Incredibly honest people. When they couldn't duplicate my problem, they did not charge for exploratory work and would not do unnecessary work to fix. Being a woman, I appreciated this SO VERY much as I have had quite the opposite experience many different places. They did end up finding my problem and fixed for me successfully. What sealed the deal for me was the pin-up in the waiting room about "Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers" whom I grew up listening to with my father. :)

What a great experience. Rick corrected what appeared to be an expensive a/c repair in an hour. I had a large national shop install a new blower that did not blow the cool air out the vents. They wanted to drop the dashboard to diagnose the problem. Fortunately, I did not have the time. Later, I Googled: Bradenton a/c auto repair. Found ABC Autotech. Rick discovered the error. Now, I'm smiling. Guess where I'm going from now on? All friends are coming to see you, Rick. Thanks a million.

I have been to this shop twice now. First time they replaced a bad Fan Clutch and did a fine job. The second time I went in for a rough running engine (intermittent), they scanned it, test drive it but the car chose to run well. They did this no charge. The people are knowledgeable, nice and I would recommend this shop for quality, honest service!!

Known Rick a few years now. Works on 3 of family vehicles. Always honest and very detailed on explaining everything. Hard to trust anyone but I trust this guy and his mechanics more than some family members. Don't take my word. Try him and find out yourself.

These guys at ABC Autotech are guine honest people. Back in March of 2013 my wife on I was on vacation from Michigan. I had my vehicle serviced prior to leaving home. we had a new fuel pump put in are 2003 Bravada. As we where driving in Bradenton we smelled gas and pulled over. There was gas pouring out the bottom of the vehicle. I was able to locate a repair shop on my GPS. Rick took my vehicle in right away even though his schedule was quite busy. They located the problem explained and showed me the used gas clips the prior machanic used. Within 3 hours we where back on the road. The price he charged me was amazingly reasonable. I give these guys 5 stars and well deserved. Thank you Rick, Sorry I did not put this out earlier.

Run by Rick, a sharp and courteous mechanic with a European accent. Shop is clean and neat . His mechanics are competent and easy to talk to. Tells you what it'll cost and finishes the repairs on time.

i took my car in for an a/c problem, i had put too much freon in by trying to repair myself, he called me back told me he pumped it out and refilled to proper level, and only charged me $50. has anyone ever had any a/c repair for only $50. Honost is what describes this shop.

Do yourself a favor and don t take your car anywhere else. It seems good honest mechanics are hard to find these days, but you re looking at one now. Stop searching and make a call. Always very accommodating, very glad that I found these guys when I did. Just wish they were open Saturdays.

Rick and the crew are great people ...honest and dependable...I have been dealing with them for over 10 years now never once did I feel taken advantage of...the service is quick and affordable...just an all around great group of guys ...would recommend to anyone looking for any auto repair from small to big...thanks Rick you guys are great
