Good morning, unfortunately that transmission in my 2016 Acadia was in the process of failing. I took my vehicle to Aammco of Bradenton Florida at 2801 Cortez Rd. W. Piero the owner was extremely pleasant and helpful and having my vehicle diagnosed. I can t say enough good things about this facility. They were very knowledgeable about what was needed to make. My Acadia run perfectly again.Piero and Manny, who works at the front desk were extremely pleasant and made me feel very comfortable with leaving my vehicle there. again, if anyone would need work on their transmission, I would certainly send them to this location. Mandy kept in close contact w me with the complete diagnosis of my car. Once I committed to them doing the work, he immediately started chasing down parts. He t explained it may take up to a week to complete. As it turned out, the job was completed on 3 days.Car runs better than expected.smooth shifting and all other problems eliminated.Great job

Great service, friendly employees, extremely knowledgeable. They will give you the best price hands down for your repair. And if your repair don't completely act right the first time, they don't stop until the fix is correct! Very busy and popular shop but repairs are completed quick! I would recommend them everytime! 10 outta 10 for me. Thanks guys!2017 Chevy High Country 1500 6.2, total transmission rebuild....truck runs like it's brand new! Couldn't be any happier!!

AMAZING service!! Shannon (front desk) is so friendly, attentive, and helpful. Techs are thorough and very knowledgeable! They diagnosed my car quickly, ordered the part, called as soon as it arrived, got me in first thing the next morning and had it replaced in under 30 minutes. Very trustworthy and I wouldn t hesitate to use them again!!

Manny worked diligently to repair the transmission in my Ram truck. Even though he had to go to Canada for one of the required parts he managed to keep costs to a minimum while completing the job as quickly as possible. This shop has definitely earned my trust and respect.

took my jeep here for an issue i wasn't sure about. we were told they do free diagnostics and they'd go from there. okay cool, right? no. we were told the transmission was completely shot and needed to be rebuilt, which would cost $2500+ before labor and any other issues found. after a few days of thinking, we decided not to allow AAMCO to work on our vehicle and we took it to another mechanic. we asked for AAMCO s written diagnostic and it stated that the transmission fluid "smelled burnt and someone added an additive." this right here was the confirmation that we made the right choice by not allowing them to work on the jeep. the day before we took it to AAMCO, we had 2 family/friend mechanics check the transmission and they both said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the fluid, so they weren't sure if it was the whole transmission itself or something else, but neither of them added anything into the fluid. we took it to another mechanic and just received a call stating that the transmission is in great shape and it was just missing 2 small parts. $800 total. i understand that this is a business, but lying to people for more money is just wrong.

The team at the Bradenton AAMCO are to be commended. I brought my jeep in concerned that I may have a transmission issue. Upon inspection the team found that it was nothing more than a loose oil filter. I was impressed with their honesty. Three months later my Transmission did, in fact breakdown. They were prompt, courteous, and explained everything to me, in terms that I could understand.. They fixed my vehicle to the highest degree of professionalism and mechanical skill one could hope for. While the AAMCO name alone gave me peace of mind, the team s professionalism ensured my repairs were done right by the right people. I would not hesitate calling the Bradenton AAMCO for any vehicle repairs or diagnostics you might need. I know I won t.

If you re looking for honest quotes and reliable repairs these are the guys. Ryan and his team make sense of your issues and explain the details so you can easily understand what needs to be repaired and how much it s going to cost. In our family they have worked on BMW, Lexus, Ford and Dodge vehicles. Been using them since 2015.

Very great shop. Will absolutely recommend to anyone needing service! They got my car done very quickly I needed a new transmission and they did it in 4 days!!! I assumed it would take a week or longer so I m very happy. Aamco really cares for their customers!Immediate service done and for a fraction of the cost than most Mechanics!Had my gear shifter cable replaced.(My truck would not go into gear)My vehicle was worked on right away, and they even offered financing at an affordable price! ($23 a week VS $400 upfront- and no credit needed)After paying that off with no stress....I needed 4 brakes, rotors, and calipers replaced and the brake hose.Again, was able to get financing (with terrible credit) and ofcourse, had to find other means to make up the difference...But they made it happen for me and I'm blessed!The location on Cortez Road in Bradenton is located in front of a bus line, too..so that made it easy to hop on the bus and go about your day. (Free!)I left out of there only spending $50 (down)..and was able to pay the rest over time.Thanks for making the impossible, possible :)

Great crew, honest and handle big jobs well!Recently fixed my front suspension, rack & pinion, power steering pump, coolant elbows and motor mounts. Despite it being such a big job AAMCO still got it done right and in a timely manner. Highly recommend. Hard to find good shops nowadays.

Jennifer was so helpful and knowledgeable and spent time explaining what I needed to know about the scan they did on my SUV. I smelled gas inside the car 2 days before but I didn't smell any gas on the drive over there. The scan did not indicate any problems. She didn't charge me which I am so grateful for. The staff there are very kind and professional.

Being a business owner who counts on good reviews for my business, l leave good reviews when they are earned. It's hard to find a reputable mechanic with high integrity. I went in with a leaking radiator and rather than trying to upsell me, they were straight honest and told me I only needed a basic hose which they tracked down as it was difficult to locate. Very happy with them and would recommend highly.

A bit pricey, but then again it was an extremely short notice repair. We literally broke down in their parking lot after our alternator failed while we were heading further inland. They had a quote and a timeline for everything in less than 30 minutes. Had us back on the road within 3 hours despite complications with the parts suppliers. Outstanding staff and service.

The people at AAMCO were amazing. A big shout out to Jennifer for all her help. We were very pleased with the service we got. I took my car there for a second opinion. They saved us $1,200. The first opinion we received from another mechanic was that we had to replace our transmission. The AAMCO technician said the transmission was fine. I bought a lemon of a car from another place and ended up having to have over $8000 worth of work done. I brought my car to AAMCO and they have been awesome!! We were on vacation when we had some issues with our transmission. The dealerships in the area told us they couldn t help us for at least 6 weeks. Great service from everyone here. I brought my car in to have my engine replace. Jennifer was a great help. She explained everything to me and gave me a quote. They even replaced my starter,battery, and did miscellaneous repairs. Maria was very kind and always assisted when she can. They made a very stressful situation so easy and stress free. I got my car back in a timely fashion and did not have no increase in payments. Definitely recommend with no hesitation! My car drives so good! I am not one to write reviews but felt I needed to about AAMCO Bradenton and the people who worked on my transmission issue. I had gotten a quote on repair from a local dealer and wanted a second opinion so contacted AAMCO. I am very glad I did. They helped me get my car towed, called me daily with updates, work diligently to find part for repair, and completed the repair at 1/3 of the dealer cost. Shout out to Shannon and Jennifer. I had a wonderful experience! I got my oil changed and had them look at an oil leak that Ive had forever. The oil change was quick and reasonably priced and they fixed the leak at no cost! It was a quick fix, but still. I've never had a mechanic fix something for free! He was super professional and it was an all around great experience. I wish I would have gotten it done sooner.
