My wife and I enjoyed a delightful weekend escape at the Tradewinds Cottage #30. Despite its cozy size, the cottage exuded Key West charm with its vibrant colors and inviting ambiance. Just a three-minute walk from the beach, we appreciated the provided beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and sand cart. Plus, its convenient location within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment made it the perfect retreat. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely loved our little cottage! We were able to check in early, everything was clean, and the front desk was very accommodating. Just be aware that the bathroom access is through the bedroom (in case there are more than two people staying in the room). The beach access is very close. And there is also a pool. I liked that they had a parking lot and you didn't have to park right on the main road. I noticed several places had parking on the main road which is very busy.

Full resort service. The fun activities and other beach arrangements were awesome. Multiple options for food and drinks.Nearby activities: Beach Walkability: 10 steps to beach. Within half mile all other things if you need.Food & drinks: Wow, hard to say . They have almost all verity of food and drink within the resort. And sitting arrangement is very good.

My Mom and I flew into SRQ on Thursday for a quick trip to Anna Maria Island. Tradewinds was wonderful. They allowed us to check in before 11 am since we had an early morning flight. Anna (front desk) was very helpful with over the phone booking. She even provided us with breakfast/dinner suggestions, trolley info, and they even held our bags for us for a few hours until we were ready for our return flight at airport. The room was clean and equipped with everything you need including a beach umbrella. The beach is a quick 5 min walk away. I would definitely stay here again. Hope your trip is as great as mine was!

Cottage 13 was excellent, clean, & presentable rooms, (couples room) pet friendly place (we had no pets but the units next to us had small dogs and quiet). Walking distance from the beach. Lots of restaurants to choose from, as close as 2 minute drive to about 15 minutes drive. Clean beaches (picture included)Walkability: Lots to choices with in walking distance.

My wife and I came down for a maternity photoshoot on the beach. And we stayed here and I must say the front desk staff were absolutely professional extremely helpful let us check in early without any hassle. The rooms were very clean, they also have everything stocked if you need to cook anything. They also have Beach floats and everything located by the check-in office. And they also provide beach chairs and beach towels. Also they have a really nice pool with clean bathrooms located off the pool. And if you do find yourself there early you can always Park by the pool and change and they are restrooms and they will send you a message or give you a phone call when your room becomes available like they did for us. Overall I must say it was a fantastic weekend and we will definitely be back and I would like to thank all the staff for wonderful job that they did.

Absolutely loved the Tradewins Resort. Our first Air BNB was infested with mold, so we were calling around and got this place. The staff were so helpful and tried their very best to get us a cottage to stay in. The fact that some of the cottages are pet friendly as well really helped us with our situation. We stayed in Cottage 25 and it was beautiful. Granite counter tops, super clean, comfy bed, and across the street from the beach. Our dog felt at home and there was plenty of grass behind the cottage to let him out. We stayed for 5 nights and overall it was a fantastic experience. Shoutout to the sweet lady who checked us in on 06/27, she was so kind and helpful. I would 100% recommend this place to a small family or couple!

We stayed in cottage 25 and absolutely loved it! It was very well equipped with lots of great amenities: more than enough paper products for 2 for a week, coffee, coffee filters, dishwashing detergent and lots more. The location is great; the amenities superb. If you stay here, be sure to go to the pier for the stunning views at sunset (without the sun in your eyes!).

Lovely boutique resort. Our condo was spacious, charming and newly remodeled. Front desk staff were very pleasant accommodating. Convenient location close to Cortez with beach access with private lounge chairs. A quiet haven in a busy old Florida style island resort.

Beautiful white soft sand and clear water. The sunset was breathtaking. At sunset 2 dolphins joined us as we watched the sunset. Walking across the road to the beach was not difficult or a real inconvenience. The beach was not as crowded as many places are since the area we were at was for our hotel and their 2 sister hotels. We stayed in room 24 at the end near the heated pool. We enjoyed the pool and the floats that were provided. Very nice that the resort provides (at no additional cost) towels and umbrellas that you can take down to the beach. Beach lounge chairs are also provided by the resort at no charge. They can be found at the beach. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook with. Only missing a strainer. We enjoyed ourselves and do plan on returning another time during off season.

Cottage #28 is full of roaches! There is a big infestation of them. The manager was able to move me to another cottage. At first the manager informed me I had the option of checking out but with no refund. This was during July 4th weekend when my family and I were booked to stay 2 nights. I was switched to. Deluxe North cottage which was very clean.

Wow incredible place! My family was in town and stayed here, and I spent the day there with them. They had the top floor suite overlooking the bay. Amazing view! The room was clean, had a kitchen and very nice bathrooms. Has a balcony facing the bay. We spent the day in the pool. The only thing that was missing was a hot tub, I really can't complain though. There were a couple of communal charcoal barbeques so my cousin grilled up hamburgers and hot dogs for our crew. Beach is super close, right across the street. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. This place is really perfect.

We stayed just one night, we really enjoyed our stay! Our cottage was ready early, and the front desk called us so we could check in early. We found the room to be very nicely appointed and attractive. Very happy to say, it was extremely clean and comfortable! I would recommend to anyone!

Location was amazing, the room was perfect for what we wanted, clean, equipped with all the necessities for an extended stay or just a quick overnight, the beach takes the prize here! Absolutely the best Island in Florida.

I would not recommend this hotel if you want a good vacation because of the activities where closed and weren t open and we paid extra for them and never got it.By the way, we never got a refund for it.Nearby activities: A few places to go like a board walk and a slide right outside the hotel but most of the activities where closed my whole vacation.

The superior cottages are nice. The property is older. Great location across from the beach. Has a moderate sized pool a fishing dock on the bay side. Not far from good restaurants and night life. The property is well maintained. It books up early. Only a few openings a year out, but that is not unusual for the area.

Very accommodating. We had to arrive after 6pm. It was very easy to get the key to our place. The place is clean, the pool is great. The dock is very nice and kept nice and clean. Close to lots of activities, quiet with friendly staff.

My wife and I visited Anna Maria Island for the first time. It was our 6th anniversary and it couldn't have been better. We were met by Renee at check in. She was very personable and very helpful. She told us where to eat and not to eat. Our bungalow overlooked the bay and we were able to enjoy the sunrise from our front porch. The rooms are a little old but had everything we needed. The place was spotless. We look forward to returning

This was our second time staying at Tradewinds. This time, I rented a "Deluxe Cottage" for me and 3 family members. However the accommodations were anything but "Deluxe".For example, the bedroom had a king size bed but only one nightstand, which was very inconvenient. The bed was so high off the ground that we could barely climb in it. The bathroom door lock didn't work, which was unacceptable. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The sofa bed, located in the livingroom, was extremely uncomfortable because the mattress springs were protruding into our backs and 2 of us ended up cramped up on top of the sofa cushions. We had a horrible night's sleep. The staff however, was friendly and tried to help by fixing the electrical issue with the tv and bringing in another mattress for the sofa bed the next day. The second "mattress topper" was placed on top of the sofa bed mattress but added several inches to the height to the sofa bed, and the staff could not close it. They had to leave it pulled out in the middle of the living room, limiting walk space in an already small area.Four people were staying in the cottage so it was very tight and uncomfortable for the four of us to negotiate around a fully opened sofa bed in a small livingroom. We also found out from staff that each cottage unit is independently owned by investors. Each cottage owner is responsible for furnishing the cottage, and the result is that there is no uniformity of furnishings in cottages at Tradewinds Resort. What saved us was the beauty of the beaches. It is a lovely area, but the accommodations we had were lacking in comfort and value for what we paid.

We rented the 3 rooms on the end near the fishing dock. We were right next to the pool as well, and right across the street was a beautiful beach. Our room on the top floor was a 2 bedroom suite with a couch bed. The two bottom rooms were 1 bedroom. All rooms had full kitchens. The area was wonderful for fishing, swimming, and sitting at the beach. Plus, so many great restaurants in the area!

This is one of the last quaint old school type of resorts in the area. Very laid back. It's a setup cottages on the Bay side, walk across the street to the beach. This is old school, and great for people who live in apartments or condos. Everybody gets to be spread out. There are a lot of restaurants nearby a couple within walking distance.

Great cottages, clean, spacious, quiet. Full kitchens with just enough pots and pans to get by with cooking. Front desk staff was sometimes present but always changing. As long as you don't need much from them, the Tradewinds is great for a hands-off experience. Unless you are trying to check out late, then they get crabby.

The staff is great and the place is nice. Just cross the street and the beach is right there. There is a swimming pool for the kids and a fishing dock facing the sun rise. Not much of a room service but I think is due to Covid. I recommend this place to any of my friends.

Definitely not worth the price. The property manager was rude and arrogant. Over $1000 for 5 days in an outdated hotel with no amenities. Countertops in horrible condition fridge hit the corner of counter everytime you opened it. Not to mention the horrible green carpet that felt like it needed to be shampooed. Never stay here.... Plenty of other places better rooms and better price. Also the staff was a joke between the maintenance man that doesnt speak much english to the cleaning people who didnt do much cleaning and the office staff who is managed by a simpleton..... Stay away!!!

Amazing location with access to a lovely pool and overlook onto the bay as well as easy access to the Gulf side beach. Service is great and the rooms are excellent. Would recommend for anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing vacation.
