Loved the location which was steps away from the beach. Easy to find a spot and hunker down for the day. The pool was right outside the back and the kids loved the privacy and feel of their own pool with no crowds. The kitchenette was nice to pop in and out of to cook or grab snacks and meals while at the beach or pool. Thankful we stayed here and already booked again for next year. Smaller feel and less crowded if that is what you are looking for. Quiet and peaceful stay with super friendly staff. Exactly what we were looking for.Nearby activities: Food, drinks, and shops.Safety: Quiet and friendly staff always helping out.Walkability: Beach across the street and pool on site

My family and I have been coming here for more than 10 years, and every single time we come here, we have a great experience. It's clean, staff are friendly/accommodating, and it's in a prime location. Just a quick walk across a small (not so busy) street (just make sure to still look both ways) and you'll be right on the beach. The pool is also great and refreshing. The bed is also comfortable. Plus an added benefit to the resort is their resident cat Mickey (or Nicky), he is such a good boy. I know as a pet owner, he really helped when I missed my kitties. If you were to stay anywhere on Anna Maria Island, stay here.

This was literally our 1st place we pulled into when we got on the island. The lady running everything said she had one room left. Price was good considering looking around online at all the other places on the island. Room was very clean. Shower was nicer than ours at home even. It was nice to have a parking spot right out front as well. Also 2 nice rocking charis right in front of our room too to enjoy. 6 min away walking distance to the popular Bridge Street. They had beach chairs and umbrella for us to use and the beach was right across the street. The room was not ready for us yet as we got there at 10 am. So she gave us some beach chairs to use and also allowed us access to their beautiful heated pool. She also gave us a place to change into or swim suits too since our room wasn't ready. Check in was at 4pm. But she got us in our room at noon. My grandparents owned an old motel back when I was growing up and this made me feel like I was back in time. The gal that helped us went above and beyond to make us happy. PS Merry Christmas to u and hope u were able to get your Xmas lights working

We highly recommend this quaint, clean, and pretty place. It is just across the street with the most beautiful beaches, susets, and sunrise. You can rent a golf cart to get around and really enjoy the sweet island. While the rooms are contemporary, they are comfy and clean with all necessities. We would come back again. It's pet friendly and very comfy and great spot. Thank you.

It could have not been better: top location across the beach, steps away from a nice restaurant and a beach bar. The cottage was clean, cozy and functional for my family of five. We loved the heated pool and bbq! The manager Kathy made us feel right at home and is definitely the heart and soul of the place! We have been traveling all over the world, but I can't wait to come back here!

This was our first time staying at Queensgate. Our friends have been staying here for 16 years now, so we were familiar with the resort. Just so happened the house was available this Spring Break. We absolutely loved it here!! It was perfect!! The staff is so kind and helpful and we loved Niki too!! Hopefully the house will open up next year for us!! Thank you so much Kathy & Amber!!

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a very relaxing time. Pool was great and beach access was perfect. Loved that the private beach access made it to where you can actually spread out and not have a million other people around. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Amber was very friendly and helpful. Will be back!!! Thanks for the break of everyday life. It was just what we needed!!!

Have been coming here for several years. Love the porch with the rockers! Nice clean room number 5 good size minifridge and freezer also microwave and small coffee maker.. tub was big enough to take a nice relaxing bath! Love the room and access to the beach is right across the street. Owners Kathy and i forgot the second owners name (sorry)are friendly and helpful!! Love it there.

We stayed here for the weekend and it was great. Amber was such a big help and so friendly. She made us feel like family. The rooms were quaint with a kitchenette that had all you need and the bed was very comfortable. Right across the street from the beach and close to downtown. I would highly recommend this place. Will definitely be going back.

We stayed there Feb 19-feb 21 for the weekend. This was a great place, they had everything you need for your vacation, Amber was a great, always asking if we needed anything. Pool is heated and nice. Courtyard is especially nice, we were able to have a small get together for about 10-12 of us in the courtyard. Rooms were very clean and nice. They have many options available for rent, from a house to rooms, and suites. We will definitely stay there again.

Old Florida at its best. Great location. Beach access across the street. Minimal public parking so it's not too crowded on the sand. Walk to restaurants (Bridge Street or Tide Tables 1 mile across the bridge). Bridge Street half a mile for eats, coffee, shopping. More importantly, the two folks working there are amazing. We dealt with Amber the majority of the time and her attitude and attentiveness were off the charts. She made us feel like family.

Kathy the resort manager is awesome! Our room was #6 very clean and the bed super comfy. Nice outdoor grilling area. Pool is nice and beach is only steps away. The sunset was beautiful. You even get beach chairs and umbrella with each room. Will definitely be back up from Naples to get out of town again for a nice get away. Thanks again Kathy!

Old school hotel with awesome service and very clean rooms. Beaches and restaurants and stores are within walking distance. You get 2 beach chairs, 2 towels, and a umbrella plus your own chairs in front of your room to take in the scenery. The pool is great and also the covered bbq area plus a adorable house cat that might come see you. The rooms are nice could use some upgrading but has everything you need....but I can t say enough about the service. We will definitely return.

Wonderful experience! The room was comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds have a super homely feel with the use of the barbecue deck and pool. There are chairs and an umbrella to use on the beach (which is a few steps across the road) and even toys for the pool as well. There were adorable rocking chairs to sit in to sip my morning coffee. Great views and centralized location, close to everything.

Stayed here recently for a few days with my family of 4, we stayed in a king cottage the room was super clean and smelled amazing! Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Beds were super comfy. Location was perfect , right across the street from the beach with private access. Resort manager Katie was extremely pleasant and nice! Only complaint would be that the pool was heated to 84 degrees, and when its 100 degrees outside kinda disappointing to jump in the pool to cool off only to realise it feels like a hot bath !Other than that my family loved this place and we would definitely stay here again!

We booked and paid. We needed to cancel the trip, and did so through Expedia. We then called the hotel and personally spoke with them just to confirm. We did not expect our money back. We were then berated and harassed by the woman on the phone who claimed she never spoke with us, despite the phone records to the contrary. The worst and most belligerent customer service we have ever spoken too.

Kathy and Amber provide exemplary customer service and managerial oversight of this property. Best location as it is short walking distance of perfect beaches, local sites, restaurants, and entertainment. Rooms and grounds are exceptionally comfortable, relaxing, and appealing. Best place we've ever stayed at in Florida. Again, the personal and heartfelt attention guests receive from the management make this place the best resort to stay at within the entire state

I stayed 2 nights over the weekend. My room was nice, clean, and very comfortable. Kathy was extremely helpful. Some reviews complained about the beds....mine was very comfortable. I will stay there again if in the area. I was very pleased with the accommodations. I was so pleased that my furry child was allowed. We saw many other well behaved dogs.

Very clean and quiet. Nice grounds with gazebo and very nice pool. Great location to the beach and surrounding AMI. Christmas Lights up, Very quaint! Thank you for a lovely visit!

Wow. this was a hidden gem that we found for a weekend getaway with the kids. The room (1 bedroom suite) was clean, had ALL the amenities, next to a heated pool, and literally, 50 yards from the beach. We were treated so well, and everything was well taken care of. we will definitely be staying here again, and soon.

Way better than I imagined. If we come back to this area, definitely will stay again. Beach was literally across the street, with very few others vacationing with us. They gave us everything we needed for the beach. Walking distance to everything. Full kitchen for cooking. Great backyard, pool, private. Employees were fantastic, friendly. My teenage kids loved it.

Just came back from my weekend at the Queen's Gate Resort. The rooms are very nice. I got a chance to look at 4 different types of rooms as I spent the weekend with other members of my family.I booked the room with two double beds. First thing I noticed was that the room was very clean and smelled wonderful. The room is equipped with dishes, utensils, a small sink, a coffee maker and a mini fridge. The fridge is definitely not big enough to fit much, but it was very convenient anyway as we were able to keep some snacks handy. There is a flat screen TV with cable. The room is a pretty nice size with tile floor and pretty comfortable beds. My sister in law got the Queen Efficiency which is the same as our room except one Queen bed instead of two double bedsMy mother-in-law and sister-in-law booked the King and Poolside Cottages. Those rooms were equipped with a full kitchen with a stove full fridge, TV with cable, King/Queen beds with a separate room with a double/queen bed. One thing I did notice were that the stoves were very old and it was very difficult to cook things evenly on it.The resort is very quiet and clean. The pool had floats and other toys for kids. There are beach towels and beach toys that guests can take with them across the street to the beach. I had a lovely weekend and will gladly return hopefully very soon.

Location is wonderful. House needed paint new mattresses and a good cleaning. Assistant manager very nice.Food & drinks: Restaurants within walking distance.
