JON AND DAVE OF FAMILY AUTOMOTIVE ARE NOW MY NEW MECHANICS. I LIVE 30 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE SHOP. IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE. THEY ARE STRAIGHT SHOOTERS. NO B/S ! THEY WILL ONLY CHARGE YOU FOR THE WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO YOUR CAR. GREAT WORK, GREAT SERVICE AT A FAIR PRICE. THE WORK ON MY CAR WAS FINISHED AHEAD OF THE PROMISED TIME. AFTER LEAVING THE SHOP MY CAR HAS NEVER DRIVEN BETTER. IF YOU NEED WORK DONE ON YOUR CAR I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO SEE JON AND DAVE OF FAMILY AUTOMOTIVE(YES THEY ARE BROTHERS). YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID. I WILL BE RECOMMENDING FAMILY AUTOMOTIVE TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND CLIENTS ! PS - THEY DO U HAUL RENTALS TOO. YOU GUYS ARE LIFE SAVERS. THESE GUYS ARE 5 STARS ! Take a look at my profile - I almost never give bad reviews.Man at service counter wasn t very friendly but whatever. Then client behind me got served by somebody else and client made a public comment to express his dissatisfaction too what s his problem something like that. Not a good start hahaI rented a uhaul and they didn t have my size, got a smaller one which meant I had to take 2 trips instead of 1. AND receipt came through this morning they still charged me for original larger size despite saying I wouldn t be.Finally I tried to call you guys to rectify this but your phone is disconnected because I guess you don t want to help customers - that s leaving my only option to give this review unfortunately.

Always honest and do a great job. I drive all the way from west palm because they never rip you off. John explains everything and whether it necessary now or can wait, he is always upfront about costs and never does any work without your approval. David who is at the front and usually answers the phone is funny and has a dry sense of humor that I always enjoy when I'm there. Highly recommend 10/10!!!!

Originally, I went here to replace my tires. This went very well and the man at the counter, Dave, was very nice. I went in about 5 months ago to replace a serpentine belt, Dave, again was the person I spoke with and he was very nice again. Over the weekend my serpentine belt broke due to some screws that were loose on the water pulley. Since it had been so short of a timespan from when I originally replaced it I called the shop to tell them what had happened. I did not talk to Dave this time. This man was very rude and told me they would not honor that it was their work nor give me a discounted price because it had to be something else that broke the belt . It couldn t have possibly been the fact that you guys didn t screw the screws tight enough to keep the pulley from loosening therefore stranding me at a Room 2 Go parking lot on Easter weekend. I was willing to overlook that thinking I would get the same sweet and understanding service I had originally received. I did not. Very disappointed in the service conducted and the lack of customer service provided. This was obviously not their first complaint on their failed work service.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Been coming to family auto for 10 yrs . Very honest and not in a rush to sell you something. Very reliable work at the best prices . Also tires,oil and fluids are changed at very reasonable prices and done right . Very convenient as they open 7 am and it s first come first serve. Always nice to talk golf with Dave .

My mother n law took her car there and had work done prior to her giving my wife the car. She also was fixing the vehicle as part of a gift before giving it to my wife. But the car nor was the bill in my wife's. The gentleman who owns this place is by far one of the rudest people calling us at 8am and we work late then he was rude demanding and Harrassing us and the bill isn't even in our name it's in her mother's name.Geez last time I checked it's not my responsibility to pay for her bill regardless of who has the car now. We put 1000 into the car and we paid why it was our bil. I do not recommend using this this place the guy who owns it is rude as hell and I dont owe him nothing Karen does my mother in law used the business I never would now

Best auto repair place I ve been to - EVER! Brought my son s older Mazda in with close to 200k miles. It left in much better shape than we brought it in. Dave, Johnnie, and Noah do make it seem like your car is being repaired by a family member. Friendly service! Customers smiling! Pricing more that fair - not trying to upsale unnecessary repairs. They do it right at Family automotive!

Recommended by a friend who gave them rave reviews, I went there with my very noisy tire and concerned for safety and a big bill. Knowing they are always busy and that I expected a long wait, they had a tech take a ride almost immediately. The guy explained about tire feathering and then showed me why the tire was so noisy. My bad for not recalling the techs name but everyone there is super friendly and professional. I ve used a few different sops over the years and will never go anywhere else now!PS: no charge for their time and expertise. I shouldn t expect to always be so fortunate nor well treated but I know Family Automotive will always be courteous and reliable.

Family Automotive seems to be exactly that! Kind, down to earth, knowledgeable and friendly mechanics, who changed the oil in my car and were prompt, reasonably priced, and when I queried about tires, they were totally comparable to Costco in pricing. I will definitely go back there for my car service needs! Highly recommended!

Walked in to an empty counter where customers were waiting to be helped. An older gentleman walked in from the back with an entitled approach to customer service. Didn t greet the customers even after being greeted by us. Proceeded to ask me what I needed. Told him I had a reservation for a U-Haul rental. I ve rented the same trailer more than 1000 times at various places throughout Broward and Miami. Trailers are rented for 24 hour time period for a flat rate. The store or vendor has an obligation to honor reservations in the order they are received. So, understandably, if a reservation is made for a later time than yours and is at a time prior to the 24 hour time period, then they need to know that you will return it at a time conducive to honor the earlier reservation. But where the conversation went sideways was when he suggested it s a cost based on the time you have it. Incorrect sir. You don t determine Uhaul s policies. The complete lack of consideration, courtesy and respect is enough for me to raise the roof. Please don t support this business and the entitled front desk jackass who has for years most likely been condescending to customers and his employees and been allowed to do so.

Honest!!!! Went in for a second opinion after dealership gave an estimate for work that was "needed." One thing dealership recommended was needed but Family was half the price, other two items were just an up sell. Saved about $1400 by going to Family Automotive.

Love Family Auto, they're honest, reasonably priced and are a nice bunch of guys!! Have been bringing my car to them ever since I found them... now my neighbors do too. They don't try an up-sell you on stuff you don't need, they tell it like it is... very refreshing

Brought my just purchased used 2013 Mini Cooper to get an overall check on it mechanically to see if it needed any work. Dave had it all checked out and said it was in good shape and not in need of any work. Very honest and friendly staff and now my go to place for any auto service needs. Amazing! Took my Z there for a cylinder misfire and car was throwing other codes they fixed everything and price was more than reasonable. Everyone there is awesome and knows their stuff bring your car here if you want it done right. Thanks again!

Disgusting behavior from personnel. If I could give 000 starts I would. They treat you as if they are doing you a favor or giving you something for free. Went there for a Uhaul rental. I made the reservation online. When walked in they started questioning me for how long I needed when the reservation clearly said 24 hours. Told me if I was going to screw up the other customer that I had to pay an extra day. Really?! Please if you want to experience the worst service of your life, then be their guest. , otherwise stay away from this place.

John was wonderful, honest and sincere. He explained everything in detail and worked through a recent visit with me on a check engine light. I would trust to go back with any future concerns. I brought my Toyota in today bc the car was shaking at certain times. He went for a ride w me n he felt slight shaking but said not to worry for now It was just the compressor w the ac and to just bring it in when it starts doing it more consistently. John was very nice and super knowledgeable. These guys just got a lifelong customer n I would highly recommend their services. They re honast and the service truly couldn t have gone better. Pretty much the most honest mechanics you will ever meet work in here. Their prices are quite reasonable as well and they re very good at explaining what s wrong with your car and they ll go over all options with you. I also appreciate that they don t ask if you want unnecessary things done so they can earn more money. THAT S honesty! Hear that Tire Kingdom?

I rented a uhaul for 3.5 hours and returned it after hours and dropped the key in lock box. They invoiced me for 4 days and accused me of losing the key. If you like being harassed and stolen from this a great place to rent a truck from.

David, John and crew are the best I've dealt with, ever. I've been a customer for over 20 years.
