I went there to have my car checked because it said check brake when I got there they told me they would give me an answer in 30 minutes they never called me they waited until they about to close they called me they said they will give me an estimate in the morning. I called them in the morning they said I m working in the estimate I ll send it to you in a few minutes after 2 hours I called them again they said hold on they never come to the phone I had to hang up the phone when I went there at 2pm I said where s the estimate they acting like they don t know me they broke my windshield they said the motor broke but when I brought the vehicle windshield worked perfect never again I suggest you not to fully trust these people bad bad bad service and the owner wife told me not to come again they have no service God bless them

This auto repair shop is the most honest, reliable shop I have EVER worked with. I am from NE Ga and my transmission hose burst while i was in Fl. Julio, was awesome. Most places would have told me I needed a new transmission even if they could have just repaired the hose but I was able to get it fixed , as well as a few other minor issues and drive 800 miles. My vehicle has 138k miles so I thought I was going to have to trade it in. Now I can take my time. I frequently go to Fl and am going to make this shop my future shop for all routine maintenance because I can absolutely trust that they will be honest with me. If you are lucky enough to land at ECAS, I am sure you will not want to go anywhere else.

Great Service / Treated like family.I found this mechanic shop on Groupon. The one thing you will notice from the moment you walk in is their warm and friendly front desk (Carolina & Carolina).Then the Mechanic (Julio) was super friendly and explained everything very clearly. He even suggested certain repairs were not needed as the parts still have "life" in them!Later on I found out that Julio is the Owner! Truly felt like a family in that place.Their prices are comparable, but their service is superb!

We have been loyal customers to East Coast going on 4 years now. They are always honest and up front about what needs to be fixed on our vehicles. I never feel like I am being cheated when I go here for service. They are fair on price with no hidden fees or surprises along the way. They always work hard to get our vehicles returned to us quickly. The work is always done right the first time. Highly recommend bringing your vehicle here the next time you need something repaired.

Radiator was dangerously low on coolant causing the air-conditioner to malfunction and engine to overheat.Thank goodness I discovered East Coast Auto.They are very thorough and reasonably priced and most importantly honest.UODATE:On March 1, 2024 I took my car to East Coast Auto in Boynton Beach because there was a vibration when braking, along with a shuffling noise.An estimate was written-up by Carlos who diagnosed the problem as Engine or Transmission Mount, Control Arm Assembly. Total repair cost $1,695.20.Decided to take my automobile to two other auto repair shops just to get a second opinion.BOTH SHOPS stated my car only needed rotor replacements and new brake pads plus an alignment. Total Cost $550.As a previous loyal customer and a 68 year old female I wrote and expressed my outrage at being scammed.So far no one has replied.Recommend that You Don t Trust This Place.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

Big rip-off! I brought my car to this place recently. Never again! A weasel called Carlos quoted me a price of $883 for a valve cover gasket. I went home and did some research and found a product that would essentially fi the same thing by stopping the leak. I called and asked Carlos if he was famiiar with it and he said he would call back. He did not. What he did was stall me for two hours and then announced that I owed them $240 for 2 hours labor, when he could have not started the job until he called me back.Another culprit in this is Carolina, who said if I didn t pay for the labor, they would not put the car back together and I would have to pay for towing. To top off this nightmare, they charged me $18 just to use my credit card. These people are thieves, no more no less.P.S. The $17.23 product actually worked, no more leak!

After using this service for several years. I drove home from a complete service 24 point inspection, oil change, and tire rotation to find only one lug nut was put back on. I'm lucky to be alive after such negligent work. I'm speechless as what to do from here

Who forgets to place back the motor oil cap well East Coast Auto Service does! I went in for an oil change notice my car was making a noise when started, it continued as I drove away. When I opened the hood of the car I notice oil all over!!! Then noticed they forgot to put back the cap for the motor oil. The front desk woman drove the car out and around the block! How did this happen?? Very unsatisfied and will not be returning!! Be worn!! It was early afternoon, no rush, no excuses!!! This is very unprofessional!! I'm now left with taking the car to another mechanic to see what other mess East Coast Auto Service might have done on my car. For the money I paid, I was better off taking my car to a dealership. First and last time!!! They didnt rotate my tires and told me the reason was because I had screws in the tire.

I checked 2 other repair shops in Boynton and this shop offered half of the price. Staff are very pleasant and professional and will provide you the best advice for your car.

Great friendly service from the begging to end of my Subaru RADIATOR replacement, far less $$$$$ for a much better experience and service...I highly recommend East CoastWill be a return customer for.sure 2thumbs up in a sweerly....

I have been using East Coast Automotive Service for about 4 years now. I have used them for oil changes and minor maintenance issues and have always been satisfied with their work. Recently I had to replace a radiator. I have to say that I was again very happy with the analysis and work done to get my car ready for my trip back home up north. Not only have I always been happy with the work they have done on my car, but they always upfront, honest, and very kind as well. They have always done their very best to get me in and out in a timely manner. So happy to have found a place that I can trust to get the job done and done well!Services: Auto maintenance, Battery

Came here with an oil leak issue. They were very patient in finding the cause and once they did they quickly got to work. My Vehicle was done in a timely manner. The two ladies in the front were super helpful and communicative. The whole staff is nice and extremely professional. Will be bringing all my vehicle business back to East Coast auto. The ladies at the front counter were absolutely pleasant and product savvy. The mechanics were polite and prompt. No games, hard work, good work, fast work. I was in and out. The rates that they charge on any type of vehicle service is extremely low. I will definitely make them my go to mechanic shop. No. Pushy, honest and professional. Fast, friendly service at a decent rate. The location is a little tricky as it is on Industrial Avenue, a one-way street, and traffic and parking is tight so I would recommend using Google Maps and slow down so you don't pass it. Once inside, the service area was remarkably roomy, comfortable, and clean. The service staff was pleasant, professional, and efficient; I was in and out in no time. My car was clean and delivered out front when ready. Impressive first-time experience.

This place gets the job done and has very reasonable pricing. They are nice to work with. They are reliable and a true gem when it comes to auto problems. I HATE car issues and dealing with car repairs but they make it much easier to deal with. We LOVE East Coast Auto. I was having such a bad experience with 2 other mechanic shops, and my brother referred me to East Coast Auto & within 2 days they were able to repair my car. They are very punctual and very friendly and welcoming! The price was very affordable! I 10/10 recommend for anyone who is in need of a mechanic shop to come here before going anywhere else!!!!! It s hard to find places like This!!! Thank you guys!! :)

As soon you walk in, it's very inviting. The woman at the front desk were very polite and helpful. The mechanic was equally polite and helpful. Very straight forward and also quick to fix the issue without an appt. The price was very competitive and I will definately make this my go to shop from now on. Thanks again!!

My first time at the shop was Saturday, where I needed them to replace my left rear window regulator. They are absolutely the nicest people, and fixed my window right up in a very short time. They even cleaned the goop off from the duct tape I'd been using to keep the window rolled up. Friendly, honest mechanics and garages are worth their weight in gold (especially when you have a 16-year old car like I do), I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone. And I will.

Had gone in for an oil change a few weeks back and also revived a quote for my back brakes. Which they brought me out to see the condition of my brakes. Returned to have them completed and also needed the a/c charged. All the work was completed timely and at a reasonable price. They also fixed the hinge on one of my doors and checked out why my oil light had come back on. All the staff is very friendly and helpful!Service: Brakes

Came in today for a Oil change and just have to say that everyone that worked there was extremely friendly. Started working on my vehicle soon as I got there and got done in a timely manner. Oil change is my regular here. Do not think for one minute this place is a waste of time they greet you they take care of you but the most important part is your car . Normally I do my own maintenance until I found East Coast. If you are reading this you wanted to know how great the service is I want to see your comment next about your experience

Giving two stars because Xena was super nice and I don't blame her for mechanic error.My girlfriends Honda Fit was having AC issues. Going warm after 15 mins. After searching local repair shops, I suggested this shop because of the great reviews.When we brought it in, we were told we'd have to pay for the inspection fee, but if decided to repair it through them, the fee would be waived.The repair job was around $200-$300, and we agreed to have the work done.Got the car back, and within an hour the issue returned. Brought the car back, and they inspected the car again. Only to find out it was another issue and would be another $300-$400.Not expecting anyone to be perfect. I understand mistakes happen, and things don't present themselves sometimes, but it would have been less painful if they had offered to split the extra cost in half since their mechanic overlooked it.We decided to just get the car back, and haven't returned. I feel bad for suggesting this shop to her, because she feels like she paid for a repair that did nothing to fix her problem, and we were told this would resolve the problem.If they had said there were several issues with the AC, and we decided to fix one, and leave the other issues, I'd more than understand.Since then I've come across multiple people, including myself, with car issues, and I would have gladly sent them a handful of business in the past 3 months alone, but I'm currently searching for another repair shop.I'm not trying to talk anyone away from this business. Only, be sure to ask the mechanic if they are sure they can resolve the problem for what they are quoting you. We left feeling like they were trying to get more money out of us.

Just moved here from Denver. Looked on yelp for a mechanic. Found this gem. They went above and beyond what I ask. I am So Happy with the way my car runs now. I have a 1982 toyota. Is rare to find a mechanic to work on these cars. Service was fast and polite. Very reasonable prices to. Go see them if your in the area. You will not be disappointed. I had a.c. service a oil change and carburetor gaskets replaced.

Initially bought a Groupon for a Synthetic oil change. My car computer was not reset so, it still showed that an oil change needed to be done even after the oil change was completed. I noew even wonder if they actually did an oil change at all. Then, the next day , shortly after the oil change. I got onto the turnpike and my hood flew up as soon as I increased my speed. The hood blinded me and I could not see causing a near serious auto accident. I complained & was given a free oil change certificate.Then yesterday my engine light came on and I brought it in. They ran the diagnostics & quoted me almost $900. They went to order my parts and ordered a gas cap, which my car didn't even have. When I saw the estimate I informed them that my vehicle was leased and that I would be turning it in soon, so I only needed what was necessary to fix the problem I came in for. The estimate was dropped down to $254. That made me very doubtful about everything, so I called to tell them, I was cancelling due to a true emergency, the manager told me that I should have just been honest with her and she abruptly hug up after complaining about having to pay restocking fees from Jeep for parts she had ordered. With the money they make from doing unnecessary repairs for unsuspecting customers, I am sure that the restocking fee was nothing! I will never go there again! Heed my warning, these are super bad people!UPDATEWent to another auto repair place & the local Jeep dealership in Delray and they both ran diagnostics.Neither one found anything wrong with my car.WOW! And they wanted almost $1000 initially and in their second quote when I told them it was a leased vehicle that I would be turning in soon, the price dropped to around $250, but even then they were charging me for work that never needed to be done.Stay far away! These are the kind of businesses from which horror movies and rip off reports are made.UPDATED 1-12-20211 year later, the owner FINALLY responds & denies that this ever happened!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!! UNFOUNDED, FALSE, FRAUD????? I should've sued you. I am in your system!!!! And I was looking for an honest, professional garage to bring my business to. You took advantage of me in every sense of the word!I COULD NOT HAVE EVEN MADE THIS UP!!!!!THIS HAPPENED, ALL OF IT!I even gave them the benefit of the doubt & went back, reported the incident & all I was given was a gift certificate for another oil change by the female manager. I never used it!The owner is responding NOW and its apparently news to him because, I never heard from him when it happened & responding over a year later by denying my story, my name, my review?????? Please see my other reviews! Now he is worried about his reputation?????THIS IS % TRUE!I WAS SEEN THERE TWICE UNDER MY LEGAL NAME, NOT MY INITIALS. And if I had been seriously injured, you probably wouldn't even be in business because I would've sued you for every penny!

I've been helped by Zina today and she helped me out a lot with my really bad situation. They checked my vehicle for free due to my financial issue and life issues im going through right now, they gave me free break fluid, gave me a brand new car charger for free and changed my rear brakes for a way cheaper price than in New Jersey.. They also checked out my taillight bulb that's out without being charged for that.I am seriously surprised I got this much help from this place. I just moved here a week ago, went through really bad financial issues and then my car decided to go downhill too. Well I chose the right place to go to and I plan on coming here again without hesitation when something else comes up.Do I recommend this place? Definitely!
