Finding a trustworthy mechanic can often feel daunting, but my experience with Ace Auto Repair has been exceptional. My wife took her 2017 Nissan Murano in after the check engine light came on. From the get-go, Don and Cher were polite, knowledgeable, and dependable.What stood out to us was how accommodating they were in handling our concerns. Don was super friendly and kept us informed every step of the way. He presented us with all our options, allowing us to make a well-informed decision.I wholeheartedly recommend Ace Auto Repair to anyone needing a reliable and trustworthy mechanic.

Take my Tacoma for ac repairs and follow the good reviews about this place made choose this shop.Was a big mistake begin for the price over $300 compared with some ace shops on the area I m think because just moved from New Jersey and still have plates from there , so after 6 days holding the truck and new compressor and clutch left that place to back 5 weeks later with my ac dead, the same way as before and reason to taking for repair , now is the condenser piece!!! Wrong diagnostic from the beginning. Now they asking for another $800!! I m always care my Tacoma it just have 55000 miles and just being inspecting on April by Toyota dealer as preventive maintenance. Understand parts get bad , but wrong diagnostic cost money and yes very polite the Lady Coustumer service but a ripoff place.

I would put a 0 if I could I took my car here to get a oil change and new tires put on instead of them doing the work without my permission gave my car to tire kingdom next door to do the work and tire kingdom broke my truck lock and ace auto had to pay the dealership to have it fix I don't recommend anybody going here stay away at all cost or you will pay the price

Had my car in shop for stalling...check engine light on and after $440 worth of work it stalled the day I took it home...now they said they don't know what's wrong with it and wont work on it ...so after $440 never got it fixed and they wouldn't refund any money...place is a rip off stay away.

Love this place. The woman at front desk is always polite & very helpful! They were able to replace my boyfriend s compressor & other A/C issues within a day. Will definitely always bring our cars here to be serviced.

Ace Auto Repair is amazing! I have been taking my car to them for over 10 years for all my auto repairs and oil changes. Their service is fast, affordable, and the mechanics are very honest and loyal to their customers. If I have a flat tire, or any kind of emergency, they have gone out of their way to help me right away. This company is amazing. I am so happy I can always count on them.

I live far and drove to boynton requesting to sit wait for my bmw to change both rear window regulator and door lock which would take half the day . Cher was very thorough that I let me know that there is possibility that I might not be done the same day. I watched customer come and go and enjoyed my time waiting. They tried there best on got it done. I will definitely come back. Honest and friendly.

I recently relocated to the area and stumbled upon this gem. I highly recommend Ace Auto Repair, they are very transparent with fair pricing. Cherida, the manager is Great! She is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. If you are looking for some place to take your vehicle this is it!I had some quirky things going on with my 2010 Range Rover. To my surprise, the issue stemmed from my new battery that I just recently replaced at a well known auto repair chain. That company put in a too small battery in my vehicle which caused some damage to my electrical system in the Range.Cherida, called me explained in layman terms what was going on with my vehicle and I was back on the road in no time. I have had had several repairs here at Ace with my Range and also my 2020 Toyota Corolla.My sister now takes her Toyota 2009 4Runner to Ace, they painted the top part of her hood due to fading and repaired a few mechanical items.I can definitely say this is our new Go to Car Spot.Thank you Ace Team!Services: Auto battery replacement, Painting, Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

I would give zero stars if it were an option. The level of customer care here is absolutely terrible. I've had my car here for months due to a rear end collision accident. They have promised me numerous days I can pick up my car but the morning of every time, there's something that they conveniently find that needs to be replaced or done to the car. They have absolutely no sympathy and they fail to capture what good customer service is. My rental reimbursement coverage is weeks over it's limit, and my car is conveniently not at the shop when I showed up to take a look at the vehicle (not sure where else it would have been). One thing this shop is not short of is excuses. Every day they have given me empty guarantees but the excuses are truly the only consistent thing that remain present. Stay away if you have the option.

Two bad experiences, had been using them for many years. Took an older model car in for repair. Spent over 1k and the car was worse than when I took it in. Leaked over five gallons of oil and almost blew the engine a week after. Brought it back they did whatever and still leaked but not as bad. Second time AC was intermittent and spent almost $500 and now I have no AC. Decided to purchase a new car but a warning from experience. Not sure if these mechanics really know what they are doing. Owner was understanding but it still didn't fix the issues.

Took my VW in for an oil change. Was told they didn t have the tools to take out the oil filter. I guess they didn t know that before they made the appointment or took my car in. But they charged me $90 because they drained the oil. There were other occasions that have been questionable. On certain repairs they charge more than the dealer. After this last incident I m finished being ripped off. To anyone else dealing with them, be careful.Service: General repairs & maintenance

MUST READ ... ONE YEAR LATER ... STILL ... Nov. 2023 ... previous review below this one ... ... Cherida (one of the owners) is very kind, polite, and plain honest about the work that can be done to make the necessary repairs ... ... Tom (new member, very knowledgeable mechanic) shared in all honesty what "could be done" ... "should be done" ... and most importantly ... " must be done" ... as necessary repairs. ... each option was laid out in terms of effectively achieving the outcome AND also how efficient it might be ... or not ... to split the work to be done based on the cost of labor. Example: Part A is broken ... Part B looks like it is risking braking in the near term. You could repair A and B parts ... (each part costs $10) ... the labor is $200 (lots of things need to be taken apart for the small part to be replaced) >>> You might choose to only repair the one broken part A ... knowing you are saving $10 by not replacing part B ... and knowing the cost of labor will be added again when part B needs to be replaced ... to me these are the honest answers that help me make the choice to:1) choose what to repair2) choose an Auto-Repair establishment that will come thru in "fixing the issue" AND in "honesty of the service they will provide"so One Year Later ... STILL ... Ace Auto Repair is my choice ... it is an extraordinary place to have a car serviced ... prices are truly fair ... and the results are STILL ... bar none outstanding ... totally and highly recommended ... five stars ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ LAST YEAR's below ~~~~~~~~~~~~ MUST READ ... Sep. 2022 ... these are hard to find ... AND SO WORTH the search ... a great doctor, a great teacher, a great friend, a great partner, a great mentor, etc ...and also a great mechanic ... Ace Auto Repair is a "Gem" ... Cherida (one of the owners) clearly knows their establishment doesn't sell services ... it is their honesty and it is their trust that you will receive when you bring your car to Ace ... the machines will do their work diagnosing your car's issue ... their Mechanic's experiences will help greatly in understanding as you explain what you feel your cars issue might be ... and if it can be addressed ... they will let you know how ... how long it might take ... how much it might cost ... and an honest expectation of what the true results will be ... and in terms of "Over Delivering" ... any other issues discovered as they work thru your car's issue ... will be brought up to your attention with several options on how to address them ... if it's necessary, or imperative, or if it's something down the road for you to keep in mind as your car ages ... AND ... this is another example where honesty shines ... it is not an upsell ... it is just an honest concern that they would like you to be aware of and what that concern means to your car's performance and perhaps to you as a future inconvenience or your safety as a driver ... Ace Auto Repair is an extraordinary place to have your car serviced ... prices are truly fair ... and the results are bar none outstanding ... full on highly recommended five stars

Awesome staff! Their prices are very reasonable and they made good suggestions on what needed to be replaced and fixed (windshield wipers replaced and fixed my splash guard that was hanging a bit). I cannot express how amazing their detailing guy is! My car had not been detailed in a long time and there were thousands of dog hairs on the inside. After bringing it to Ace, there were zero. Seriously the cleaning power of a god! Very thorough and I was so surprised at how low the cost was. Definitely worth my drive from Miami Beach!

So disappointed with new owners at Ace Auto. Have been going there since 1993 and ever since new owners took over, nothing but problems. I gave them 3 chances and each time I had a problem. 1st I went for tires. They did the alignment BEFORE they put the tires on. I've never heard of doing it that way before, and after asking around, it is not the correct way. When I told them, she assured me was fine, but I could tell was not the way had been previous times. The 2nd time was for an area that needed painted. They said they knew someone who would do it there. They painted it the wrong color. I pointed that out and they were very nonchalant about it and told me to come back. I live in West Lake Worth and the shop is in Southeast Boynton Beach. I went back to have it painted the right color and a couple weeks later had chips in it. When I took it back once again she told me it was probably from putting my groceries in the way back. Unbelievable. The 3rd and final time was for windshield wipers. 2 days after I got the new ones put on, I wasn't happy. They weren't as clear as others I have had so I went back to see of I could change them for the same ones I had previously. She said no and said they were working fine. 2 days after that one of them broke and was flapping about. So disappointing after so many great years of going there and knowing I could trust them.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Wheel alignment

Sorry for any typos..I am always very pleased with the service at Ace. They do great work and their prices are very reasonable compared to the dealership and some other shops in the area. I will only take my car here from now on. I value their knowledge and most of all the customer service I received.

Awful experience.I ve been dealing with Ace Repair and Darcy since 6/10. My air conditioner went out and I was told after doing a diagnostic test that I needed a new compressor. This would be covered under my warranty so they went ahead and ordered the part that I would need. June 10 was on a Friday so I still came to pick up my car in order to have a car for the wknd. I returned the following week to have the compressor installed. It arrived around Tuesday and I left my car there for the install. I was then informed that the compressor was the wrong one.. it didn t fit. Darcy was very detailed in explaining The issue and exactly what would need to be done. She even went above and beyond by texting me pictures of exactly what was going on. The most important thing for me is the final number. I was originally quoted an amount and now having to go through the dealer I was curious as to what the out-of-pocket would be at this point. I was told it would remain the same and even the updated invoice reflected my customer price remained the same.Here we are 6/27 and my car is finally done. When I was told to come pick it up the price I was given was an additional hundred dollars that was never discussed. I questioned this final price since I had already set aside a certain amount based on our previous conversation. Darcy explained that she told me due to having to order from the dealership my out-of-pocket would increase by $100. We absolutely did not have that conversation at all. Not one time was I informed that my out-of-pocket amount would change. Being a single mother and a female I understand how important it is to know exactly what s going on so that you don t get scammed. So the conversation of out-of-pocket amount was regularly discussed and of course I would remember if now I would have to pay an extra hundred dollars. My issue is not the amount because trust me if it had not been for the warranty I would be paying well over $1000. And in South Florida paying over $300 for air in your car is worth it. If she would have informed me that it would be an extra hundred dollars it is something that would not have changed the final outcome. I would ve paid it in order to get my car. My frustration is that it was never discussed and Darcy is pretty much calling me a liar by saying it s something that she told me. She NEVER mentioned this additional $100. I m beyond livid and offended that a person can just completely make up a conversation that never took place in order to avoid having to admit that you made an error. I m asking Ace Repair to be a Business that honors their word with integrity . I do not have proof that the amount would stay the same in writing because honestly the invoice never changed . Even when I confronted them about having to pay this extra amount , the receipt invoice they provided STILL showed my out of pocket expenses being THE SAME ORIGINAL quote from 6 /10. I just had to literally ask for a receipt to reflect the actual amount I paid! Just terrible and incompetent. Darcy appears overwhelmed, frazzled and extremely stretched in terms of the multiple things she had to handle at that front desk. I take full accountability and blame myself for not getting better documentation regarding confirming with me what I would be paying at the time of pick up. It was literally a verbal agreement that I assumed would be honored since the invoice never changed. It s definitely a lesson learned for me, but to all future customers that intend on doing business with Ace. Darcy appeared to have amnesia with me and even accused me of not remembering something she NEVER said. How insulting .Do better Ace.Service: A/C installation & repair

This is a GREAT repair shop! Don is one of the most accommodating, patient, trustworthy people I have met in the auto repair world. I have done much of my own auto repairs in the past because I find it hard to trust auto repair shops. Occasionally, I have no choice and have to take my car to a shop.I rely a lot in the reviews and I can tell you that the MANY positive reviews you will read about Don and his team are accurate.Reasonably priced, professional work, and GREAT communication. I can't recommend them enough.

I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation for 3, and they were not able to get to my car until 4 or just a little after. The owner came out and apologized for the wait, and informed me that the oil change would be free as a result of the wait. It turned out they didn't charge me for the tire rotation either. I left with an oil change, tire rotation, and an invoice that read "Balance Due - $0.00!" I chose Ace because of the positive customer reviews online, and now my review will find itself amongst those positive reviews. I will definitely go back for oil changes, etc. The owner seems to be genuine and to genuinely care!

I scheduled my appointment the same day and they are so great about making things easy for you. I got my brake services done and it was ready in a prompt and timely manner. The front desk person is so personable ! I will definitely be back for more services . Would recommend them for quality and affordability .
